Lavery is very good, and always shows up when they say they will…a rarity these days! Many years experience with this company, and their service never disappoints!

Elliott was GREAT. Explained everything so it was understandable. He was very knowledgeable, thorough and polite. Getting through answering service and virtual assistant was a little difficult.

I had an in-ground yellow jacket nest in the back yard that I unsuccessfully tried to remove myself. Instead of trying a second time I called Lavery & Son based on a relatives recommendation. They were able to schedule someone to come out the next day. The tech Mike was here right on time. Explained what he was going to do then suited up. Took care of the nest quickly and explained the precautions we needed to take for the next day or so. Before he left he walked around the property to make sure there weren't any other issues present. Very informative and professional. Would definitely give them a call again if we needed this type of service again. Price seemed a bit expensive but I dont have any experience with this type of work and I did get good next day service.

I called Ed Lavery to confirm facts told by another, very good pest company. First, Elliot was very professional, very knowledgeable and confirmed suspicions I had with re: to rat exclusion process. He never made me feel scared, he did not use “Sales tactics,” and he confirmed that the steps I wanted to make were more than reasonable. I would highly recommend this company for yearly contracts with rat deterrence strategies as they know what they are doing. I would be remiss in not mentioning my first call on a SUNDAY MORNING, where Charles answered and was wonderful as well! Although they don’t do trenching for exclusion, I would suggest that you, at least, consult them for educational purposes. I learned 3 new things speaking with Elliot! I am grateful for the Ed Lavery company!

We chose Lavery to address ant, mice, and general insect issues on our back patio given the numerous positive Google reviews. On the initial visit (for which we were charged over $300), the technician did place one small bait trap for the mice but did not have the necessary larger bait trap (that came a week later), told us the only solution to the ant issue was regrouting our back patio because he had no way to treat them, and left a large wasps nest on the side of our house untreated (see photo). When we called a new pest company to replace Lavery, the new company said they had never heard a pest company say that regrouting a patio was the only way to treat ants. When we canceled our service with Lavery, they declined to refund any of the $300+ we had paid for the initial subpar services. They instead said they had done us a favor by waiving an additional $300+ cancellation fee. Perhaps we just got a bad technician, but we were left unsatisfied with Lavery's work and will not be recommending them in the future.

Elliott was extremely knowledgeable and extremely thorough. He checked every nook and cranny & around the outside of my home. I look forward to him coming back again and finding more mice.😀

Michael did an outstanding job taking care of the inside of my condo. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very thorough. He sealed all the holes the very same day and placed traps in all the necessary areas to address the problem right away. He took the time to explain what he was doing and made sure everything was completed properly before he left. Want to thank Eric with Ed Lavery for coming by my new home. Our inspection had brought up some potential termite activity- Eric was timely, kind, professional, and extremely knowledgeable! You can tell he loves his job and is very experienced. He did a thorough inspection and gave me the great news that it was not in fact termites- but rather harmless pavement ants. Genuinely appreciated his honesty as he could have just as easily said it was termites and charged me a pretty penny for treatment- and I would have been none the wiser. He answered all my questions and was such a help! While I’m grateful I don’t currently have any pest issues, I know that if anything does arise I will be confident to call Eric and Ed Lavery. I used them for a mouse exclusion job, and to be honest their warranty on exclusions is so bad, I had concerns. They showed up for the estimate and were so knowledgeable, I figured I would go for it anyway. They gave me a quick crash course in how to do exclusion on my shed (he said it wasn’t worth paying him to do because it so rarely works), and they took care of the house. 18 months later and still not one mouse. I have no idea why their warranty is so overly cautious, but between the craftsmanship, knowledge and service, I would highly recommend them for any mouse exclusion job and fully anticipate it being successful.
