Brian, from Home Guard, consistently delivers great customer service. He’s always on time as promised and gives us a heads up in advance. He’s always offers tips as to what I can do with vegetation as to limit insects threatening our home. He’s been servicing our home for several years and we’ve greatly appreciated all that he’s done!

Great company! They always confirm when they will be at the house. Once they arrive they check to make sure our dog is inside. If additional pest issues arise in addition to our quarterly service (mice , rats, ants inside) they show up quickly to help resolve it. Great communication. Erik is our tech and he is great!

This is a great company! If you need them to come back out between scheduled visits they are super accommodating. Erik has been our technician for a while now and he’s very professional and does a great job! March 2026 update-They are still an awesome company and appreciate them! I can reach out and have them come out within a day or two notice if something pops up.

Every time they came 2 days later I had bugs they are here for about 7 minutes if that then gone. I told them I had a mouse and they said they really don’t deal with that problem and the glue traps around two months later I still have that mouse. Very poor company.

I looked back into your account and your technician actually averaged over 12 min per visit. Your mouse issue was determined to have come from when your garage door was replaced and the there was an opening for a day or two. We did set traps in the garage for you. We also offered to have a Lead or Service Manager come to follow up to see why you were experiencing ongoing Pest problems, which you refused multiple times. We also gave you back the second half of your year that you had prepaid, in all attempts to make you happy. We pride ourselves on our customer service and taking care of our customers. We have over 3700 Google reviews and 95.6% of them are 5-stars. I am disappointed that with the effort made to solve your issues including providing you a refund for the back half of your contract, that you felt the need to send in a 1-star review. I am available to speak if you choose to do so. We wish you the best..
PREDATORY SALESMEN. This company will offer you a "Promotion" and leave out the fact that they will lock you into a contract and charge you over 400$ if you cancel. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Additionally, the spraying doesn't even work. We still have a pest problem.

Every service I have to check to see if they did their job. I also have to ask them each time to remove rats from the traps. I asked for additional services and did not receive a reply or the services. Their technicians say they went to my home and provided the service, but also the notes on the job state they weren't "able" to enter my backyard; not true - we have cameras and it was unlocked and my dog was kenneled (also on video) . They charged me anyway and none of the services I needed were completed.

Emailed to get confirmation of when my contract would end to avoid paying any additional fees. They showed up after contract was over and billed me again. They will continue to to service and bill you unless you specify that you want to cancel after your contract is over.

Good morning Jose. I am the GM for Home Guard Pest Control and I am sorry to hear that you feel we were trying to deceive you. First of all, we only do contracts as we need to cover the original expenses for the sales knocking teams. After that, your service goes on a service-by-service basis until YOU feel there is a need to cancel. Our MAIN goal is to not ever have you cancel. If you are enjoying the service, we are keeping the pest away, we would not expect you to want to cancel. That is why at the end of your contract, we do NOT just cancel our customers, we expect that they want to to stay on. Our average customer stays at least 3.5 years with us. We are proud of that. We also currently have over 3300 Google reviews and 95.2% of them are 5-star. If you would like to stay on with us, we will reactive your account, no contract, and get you back on a pest-controlled service. Thank you for being our customer the past 1+ years and we hope you will come back and join the Creepy family.
Initially wasn't going to leave a review but because Rory or whatever his name is still showed up at my door a second time to basically confront me after the fact that I decided not to go with them is insane. Mind you I have a 'No Soliciting' sign. Talking about how he knows what he's talking about because it's his job and he knows that he disclosed that I was signing up for services with them. Have the whole conversation on camera! He never disclosed that there was a cancellation fee either btw. I found that out when the technician came out to spray and I said no thank you then and turned him away. He did not disclose that the first time he knocked at my door. He offered to spray for $20 and if we decided to use them it would be however much monthly/quarterly and all that shenanigans. Then he had the audacity to ask who who I was using for pest control since I didn't want to use them and how much I'm paying. Word of advice, don't be pushy and be honest the first time. Better not see him at my door again, he borderline seemed like he was harassing when he showed up the second time. I wouldn't be surprised that he texts me or shows up after this review. Oh and by the way, they're over priced! Don't fall for the 'all your neighbors use us' and the 'we have great reviews' bs. Do yourself a favor, go with anyone else but them.

I tried canceling because there were many spiders and bugs still coming into our house. They said they would charge us $400 to cancel since it’s a 1 years contract. The sales person that spoke with us about this service did not specify it was a 1 year contract. Even though they can come as many times as you ask between service, I find it inconvenient to keep having to call for them to come and spray every few weeks. I’ll definitely be canceling after the year since it auto re news after the year. The agents that come into your home are very nice and respectful though.

We recently got our house tented within the last 2 years and they(creepy with their free termite inspection) claimed that termites infested it at the center point of the attic and porch. They claimed that the termites that look for a good source of food right away, bypassed about 20-30 feet of good wood/attic space decided to nest in the grand center of the house even though they are technically blind and look for the first and easiest access of food?? I talked to our termite guy that tented our house(granted he’s been doing this for 30 years, said any self respecting termite company would say you have nothing to worry about if you got tented in the past few years). They recommended sub-terranian termite/termicide bait for over 1000$ plus a yearly fee of over 150$! I bought it at Home Depot for 40$ but maybe it’s not the same, but my termite specialist said why would you provide bait if you already treated for them and it would just attract them towards your home! This review of our recent interaction with a company representative regarding the performance of your bug control services, while we value our longstanding relationship with your company(about 3 years), we were deeply concerned by the approach taken during our discussion. The tactics employed felt misleading and, frankly, DISRESPECTFUL, particularly given our persistent challenges with the service and the numerous required follow-up visits to required to fix ongoing issues with unwanted pest still occupying our area of living that we thought would be long gone! We would appreciate a more transparent and collaborative approach to resolving these ongoing problems. We believe a detailed review of our service history and a constructive discussion of potential solutions would be mutually beneficial. If you have out door pets - do not use this company. They assured me that the pesticides used are no more toxic then household cleaners. Not true. My dogs have been throwing up and have had diarrhea for 2 days since service. They are not eating. Had to take them to the vet for $300. Never had this issue with other pest control companies. Now they want to charge me $350 to break a “contract.”

I would never do a service like this. I luckily read the contract before doing it. They give you a promo to do quarterly treatments, but if you cancel there’s a $300 termination fee. That’s not why I’m complaining. We live in a new development and their door to door salesman are here constantly. One of their salesman left our house after we didn’t answer the door and cut through our yard to get to the other side. It’s dirt for now because you got some concrete work done so whatever but why not walk on our concrete (it’s dry btw.) I honestly can’t stand this company because of how much they come to our home to solicit us.

This company will do anything to get your business. We bought a house that came with in between the walls pipes and it kills bugs between walls. Sales person knocked on door, I ask if he was part of the spay system in house, he reply right away yes. Didn't think twice I say yes sign me up. Three services later I see bigger bugs outside patio inside house. One of those it was a Spyder it bit our cat. He almost didn't make it. We pay close to $13k to save him. Hope the company has good insurance to cover this payment. Spaying is not working100 % percent. It's probably 50%. I don't like to be lied to, be honest.
