Repeated No-Shows, Incomplete Work, and Termites Found After Clearance My experience with Kilter Termite involved repeated scheduling failures, incomplete wood replacement, inconsistent inspections, and poor communication. In 2024, I paid for termite treatment and extensive wood replacement. After the crew said the work was complete, I discovered that many contracted items had not been done because the office had apparently sent the wrong quote to the crew. Workers returned several times, but additional damaged and marked wood was still left unrepaired. The project was delayed for weeks, with multiple canceled appointments and no-shows. The situation became more serious during the sale of my home in 2025. An inspection on August 20 found active termites. Kilter treated the property on September 4 and issued a report stating that no termites remained. However, I had to repeatedly follow up before receiving the official clearance documentation on September 17. On September 18, the buyers hired another company, which found additional termites and wood requiring replacement. During a September 23 reinspection, Kilter’s inspector acknowledged that termite activity had been missed. Kilter then confirmed appointments for September 23, 24, and 25. No one arrived on the first two dates, and the appointment kept being rescheduled. This happened while the home was in escrow and valid termite clearance was urgently needed. Because termites were found after Kilter issued clearance, and because of the repeated no-shows, the buyers refused to accept further work from Kilter. I had to hire another company despite having already paid for treatment, wood replacement, and an active warranty. I contacted management Ethan Hernandez repeatedly and requested a full refund, but I did not receive a meaningful resolution. The incomplete work, missed termites, scheduling failures, and lack of accountability caused additional expense, significant stress, and placed my home sale at risk.

Mike Hewitt, the inspector, was very thorough and professional. We would welcome his services again on our next VA refinancing.

I have been using Kilter Termite and Pest Control for 4 years and I'm very happy with their service. Eric, our service person, is always professional, respectful, and kind, especially since we have 3 dogs. If we ever have a problem in between scheduled services, Eric comes out at no cost and takes care of any intruders. I highly recommend Kilter for all your termite and pest control services.

Erick was great. On time, friendly, etc.. have seen one huge rat, but then again, it looked a lot like my crazy neighbor!

I finally them very professional. They always call in advance. The employee always arrived within the time frame and introduces himself. He completely the spraying, announced he was finished and left. No interruptions whatsoever. Really appreciate the efficient manner and prompt response.

Ricky and his crew were very professional and friendly. They helped ensure that my dog did not escape while the front door was open all day, and the rat mess in our attic is gone!! They were very careful to tape off and clean everything on their way out each day.

I have been a customer for years but your quality has slipped. I had some paint to cover your treatment marks but was told the white dap would blend in. It doesn't because of the dirt and sloppy application. You have missed activity and some boards should really be replaced rather than treated. Thanks for asking.
