Unfortunately I gotta give them the well deserved one star. I called and scheduled an appointment for active termite treatment. They asked for the inspection report from a prior service when I was in contract for my house, then used the pictures from that inspection for their inspection report. Which was interesting but I was fair, kinda showed me that maybe they didn’t actually come (I was out of state at the time). They came today and the guy starts spraying the house next door (my house is properly labeled). Once I told him it was the wrong house he had an attitude. This shows me that they don’t have knowledge of active areas nor have any plans/graphs to go by for the treatment. They just start spraying anywhere with no plan at all. I was really looking forward to getting the service but this was probably the worse service I’ve received from ANY company at all let alone pest control. I can’t recommend them, I’d definitely go somewhere else. Their desk person was nice though so I’ll give them that lol
Curtious, Professional, and Conscientious! Forth year using Varsity and they are terrific! Year 1 treatment for protection and they have followed up annually to inspect and ensure peace of mind. We'll see them again next year!

Ethan was on-time, thorough and very professional. He had to “re-plant” most of the termite traps, check on any “hits” from existing traps. As I said, very thorough and personable. Jason came to my apartme t at the scheduled time. He was great. Even though I couldn't be there he was able to let himself in and take care of the rodent problem. The communicated with me every step of the way via text and brought my packages in my home. Thank you Jason for the work you did at assessing and solving our rodent problem.

I highly recommend Varsity Termite and Pest Control from the front office all the way to their technicians. Every interaction has been professional, responsive, and well-organized. Scheduling was easy, communication was clear, and you can tell they run a tight operation with strong follow-through. Most recently, Nathaniel treated termite activity at my home and made the entire process incredibly painless. He was prompt, professional, and efficient, in and out quickly without disrupting our day. I hope their service is better than their driving!!!!! One of your trucks just about hit me TWICE today on the street by a school...kept swerving over almost side swiping me and then got behind me way to close almost clipped the back of my car!

Waiting at the scheduled appointment time for a tech to show up to inspect work done three weeks prior. Office never bothered to call to confirm appt. Their tech assigned to this location suddenly had a 'family emergency' come up and could not be sent out. Found this out when call was placed to front office secretary and was inconveniently forced to reschedule the appointment to accomodate this 'family-owned' business. Apparently, this business doesn't seem to care any about it's customer base (or business reputation in the community) any when it comes to serving others (not themselves). Varsity - who pays to keep the lights on over your heads at Varsity, your 'family' or your customers? Your loyalties are always to whoever is willing to satisfiy your wallets. I would appreciate your 'family' not be so distracted like things such as church activities when you have work that needs to get done in your community. Church services are on Sunday morning for the Mormon faithful. Keep it that way.

Pigeon work is a specialty service so we do apologize that we were not able to send another technician out the same day we had a technician out with a family emergency. We definitely want to take care of our customers and were able to get this rescheduled to the next business day. Please accept my apologies on behalf of everyone at Varsity.
I setup an appointment with the office on Monday for a service call on Tuesday. Their office text me on Tuesday and rescheduled with me three separate times throughout the day. After adjusting my work schedule the two previous times that were set by them, They never showed for the third and final appointment they set with me. I had to call their office Since they never showed up to see where they were and was told someone would call me back. After an hour past my appointment time, and this is giving them a 3 hour appointment window.. I finally received a call from a guy stating that they had a schedule conflict and couldn’t get to me until tomorrow. This is obviously a poorly ran company that needs some real guidance in customer service. Do not waste your time because believe it will be wasted!!!

I’d appreciate it if you didn’t help yourself into our yard to run your hose through our yard into someone else’s yard without our permission. I came home to find one of your trucks at our neighbors house with the hose going from the truck, through our yard and into the neighbors.

We bought a house that came with a termite warranty from Varsity. During the inspection on the house a different company found termites in the laundry room. Varsity came out to treat. A little less than three months we found some more. Called Varsity and they came out 3 and a half weeks later to treat. A few weeks later again we found more termites. Called Varsity and they sent a tech to come over around 1pm. The tech showed up and told me “I don’t have time to treat your property today”. He told me someone would call me shortly to schedule again. 3 days later no word so I called Varsity. Tech showed up and according to him “he didn’t have the right tools” to complete the work. So again we had to call Varsity to reschedule for a different day. Each time I had to take time off work to meet them and not even an apology. Most concerning is that despite the numerous times they had to comeback not once did anyone inspect our entire property. It appears that Varsity has been sold and along with it their customer service. Despite being under warranty we hired a new company (PM Pest Control). They spent hours going over our entire house, explaining the options and treatment plan. Night and day compared to Varsity.

My name is Gary, I am the General Manager here at Varsity. I am very sorry that this has turned into a bad experience for you, that is definitely not how we ever want to treat clients. I apologize that you have missed work for this. We had individual meetings with all techs today to discuss proper handlings for situations like this, so that clients are not put out. We also have the termite supervisor doing truck stocking before the day starts, which helps to ensure readiness and all tools present which might be needed. This is generally never an issue for us, I am really sorry that it became one that day.<br><br>If you would like us to come back and make it right, we definitely will, and can even schedule a weekend treat so as to ensure you are not missing work. If you could give me a call at the office, I would love to hear more about this, and see what we can do to begin to make up some of the upset we have caused.
If you would have asked me a month ago, even 2 weeks ago, I would have given Varsity 10 stars. The Varsity team up to this point has been nothing but wonderful. They took care of our termite problem and and had an excellent response time when we had recurring infestations. Because of this, we chose to call them when we noticed we had a kangaroo rat problem in our front yard. They responded quickly and efficiently as usual but flash forward to a week later and they still have not put traps down after informing us that they would 24 hrs after the initial inspection. Since last week, we've been calling everyday, and everyday they tell us tomorrow. I understand that scheduling issues happen and people call in sick, but I expected them to atleast communicate delays with us as opposed to us constantly calling them for updates. Just very dissapointed, especially since they have treated this property since my mother owned it.

Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to make it out to your home.<br>I apologize for not calling you directly about Tim not making it out to your home in a timely manner. I have been talking to Tara last week and this week and keeping her up to date on what was happening. I did speak to her Tuesday morning and let her know another tech Mel was going to be out that afternoon to take care of you. I had spoken to Tara over last weekend and Monday and Tuesday. Tara has always been my main contact and the only one I have spoken to over the years. I will make sure in the future to only speak with you so you are always up to date on what ever you may need. I’ve changed the contact information on your account. I hope we can continue to impress you with our service and get our 10 Star rating back with you.
When we first purchased our home, the previous owners had the house sprayed by Varsity, which came with a 1-year warranty. Since this was something the previous owners took care of during closing, I didn't think much of it at the time. Being a first-time homeowner and never having to deal with termites before, I just thought "Great. They sprayed for us." Unfortunately, I didn't renew the warranty on time and basically forgot about it all together. Anyway, fast forward some months later, I discovered termites in my laundry room. So I called Varsity, they sent a guy out, and he wrote me up a quote for $650 (that was after knocking off $100.) After he left, I called around to several other companies in my area and explained my situation (because I didn't just have $650 laying around). All of them seemed genuinely shocked that Varsity didn't offer to just renew my warranty, even though it was past due, going on to tell me that they've even renewed a customer's warranty as far as 2-4 years back. So I called Varsity back and asked if they'd offer a better discount or allow me to renew my warranty late, and the girl on the phone told me the best they could do was $550. So I cancelled my appointment with Varsity, found someone else to spray my house for $400 the next day, and now I won't be using Varsity in the future.

Varsity has been extremely difficult to work with. Waiting 3+ weeks for them to come back out to re-treat for termites. I had an 8am appointment. 8:35am and still no one here. Had to leave a message when I called then a very rude woman called me back and advised the appointment was changed to noon. I was never notified. She advised the tech did it and it wasn't her fault. I would no recommend giving them your business.
