Dane, my technician, was really great. He communicated when he was about 25 minutes out and arrived right on time. He also did a great job of explaining exactly what he was going to do, and provided follow-up instructions before he left. Luckily, he only had to create one very small hole to treat the affected area, and he was able to use an existing hole created by termites. Dane was very polite, friendly, and professional. While I indicated that I paid $1 - $20, there was no cost associated with this trip as it was covered under a 3-year warranty when I initially had my house treated for termites. I’ve been extremely pleased with Green Machine Pest Control. They are very responsive, and were quick to follow after I left them a message. I highly recommend using their service.

This company will continue to sell services that are not required. Poor customer service, listening skills insensitive and unwilling to acknowledge and listen to what the customer is stating. Received a message from staff member Cory Hodnett regarding my voice mail message to cancel the service since I am relocating. I am making a change because I have cancer. Cory kept trying to sell me more future services and did not listen to anything I had to say. What should have been a simple transaction was full drama. Why should I explain myself since I am trying to settle my affairs and ensure all house vendors are paid. This interaction unprofessional.

We stayed loyal to this company for a full year, paying for their services, including rat boxes. Today, after our service ended, they came and removed the boxes we had already paid for. This is extremely petty, cheap, and completely ridiculous behavior for any business. It speaks volumes about how they value (or rather, don’t value) their customers. I strongly suggest avoiding this company altogether. Stay Away at all costs!

They contain poison and we have been asked by the majority of our customers to remove them when they are done with the service so as to take away the poison. On my 3 mile drive from my home, I encountered 35 signs this company scattered throughout my neighborhood. Not only does this make the neighborhood look trashy, but it's illegal (see Tempe Code 4-903B row N). If you're looking for a company that doesn't respect city laws and has little concern for mounds of plastic pollution -- this might be the one for you. Otherwise, I would spend your money with a company focused on legal, ethical practices.

I felt this company was very rude. I let them into the house. One man went into the attic to check it out in another winter around the house to check it out and then they left without saying a word. Not understanding I thought they were here to take care of my problem. I would not recommend them to anybody.

We apologize Barbara. Your inspectors were at your home for 45 minutes. They did wait to meet with you when they were finished with their inspection. They didn’t feel they were able to get your attention at that point as you were doing another task. After waiting 20 minutes they did call out to ask if you were able to meet with them for a quick minute but there was no response. So they felt a bit awkward and emailed your quote and stepped out. We are terribly sorry for missing you. I will have them call again in the morning to go through their findings.

If we weren't home, the person we had assigned to our home would lie and say he sprayed when he didn't. We caught it because we weren't going to be home then ended up at home that day. He sent a text that the spray service was complete. We were in the front yard the entire time. No one ever came to our house

The GMPC technician, Brad Humphrey, walked out after only minutes on the job and sat in his truck for over an hour, refusing to perform a scheduled termite treatment while I waited. What should have taken one hour, went from 10AM~1:30PM which included all the theatrics by Humphrey and finally the termite treatment. Humphrey claimed to “not like my attitude” in the 1st few minutes after we met. He asked me numerous times if “I” knew where the termites were, each time I explained I was the Realtor; not the owner, who had a death in the family and could not be present. Apparently I did not supply the correct answer for Humphrey, so he accused me of having a bad attitude and walked away to only sit in his truck until management made him do his job. I even called a male neighbor I’ve known for months over to speak with Humphrey to encourage him to do his job and attempt to convince Humphrey I was not a rude person. The neighbor stayed with me for protection, his idea. This behavior of Humphrey’s was simply unwarranted. I’ve been a real estate professional over 30 years and have never experienced such unprofessional behavior. When Mr. Humphrey FINALLY decided to do the termite treatment, I was asked prior, by manager, Kammy, to stay away from Humphrey, preferably in my vehicle, while he treated the vacant home. GMPC had already performed an inspection weeks prior with the home owner. The salesman/inspector was kind and professional same as Allie, the receptionist. Wish I could say the same for the Manager, Kammy and technician, Brad Humphrey. If time was not “of the essence”, we would have happily, without hesitation, cancelled the service entirely. Beware! Something is just not right here.

Thank you for your time on the phone, though it was brief, I couldn't get a word in, and you hung up on me, I'm just hoping that whatever is going on in your life that is causing you to act in this manner subsides and you can find happiness again. I hold no ill will and hope the best for you.<br>On that note, I thought it would be fair to give a brief account for you since I was unable to on the phone.<br>My 2 technicians arrived on site and found the site was not prepped as instructed. Brad said to Mike "Hey man we need to move these boxes" and the manner in which you stepped in and began throwing the homeowners boxes out of the way was so aggressive and your attitude and argumentative behavior was so appalling that my technicians did the right thing by removing themselves from the job site and calling their manager so they were not associated with damages from your behavior. They each gave their account to their manager (2 stories given and recorded). Then you called and spoke to our office manager demanding that they continue the work. You were very upset about how long it took for them to restart the job, but I believe my crew did the right thing by conversing about the safety and implications and comparing stories about what they were being told before moving forward. I apologize about your frustration in sitting around waiting, but unfortunately you cannot compel someone to work for you by yelling at them.<br>We deemed the job to be safe and you chose to go sit in your vehicle while the job was completed. You were not asked to sit in the car and you were not asked to move the boxes. In fact thank you for mentioning that my team had offered to move the boxes and you refused.<br>It is also customary for us to ask if someone knows where the termites are - even though we have create a map of them from our inspection - because there are times that termites create new tubes between the inspection and the treatment and we don't want to miss them. Your responses were inconclusive and the question was repeated.<br>I heard that you upped your commission that you are charging the homeowner for your efforts (I hope that was for efforts unrelated to this event, because a raise in commissions was not necessary as we would have moved the boxes).<br>I apologize this was such a misunderstanding and that you were under a tight timeline. We are as well, and have other stops that we were late for that day as well. Other customers that also have things to do. This was an unfortunate ending to a job that we were fully prepared to do. I have integrity in my team and I trust them fully. But as a good company, we also record our calls, and vett all complaints so we can see both sides to a story. I believe my team did a great job and I would be proud to put them in front of any customer, company, or realtor.<br>I hope you have a great day. Keep your chin up :)

The owner was horrible to deal with and refused to refund my money for a service that wasn’t provided in an adequate time and at the end of the day served no purpose regardless. It also took constant follow up from myself before he talked to me finally, only to tell me that I misunderstood and that he had my name in writing on the paper, he made sure I knew that. Regardless of not coming to an agreement there he wasted my time with condescending questions to compare the situation to whatever, that had no purpose or value to the conversation. Again I had to call back about this I’d say 5 times over 2-3 weeks to be able to speak to him as I sit there listening to waiting music about how they have the best customer service out there, meanwhile the owner doesn’t practice what he preaches. Really didn’t like that aspect of this business and feel like all the guy cared about was that I signed his document. All the other staff was friendly for sure, but I even got confirmation when they picked up the traps that none of them went off and basically I did indeed waste $250 for nothing. Above all would not want to contribute to anything affiliated with the owners business again

Geordie I'm sorry you felt this way. When we inspected your home, we found signs of rodents. We recommended our bait box and trapping service and to seal up the ways they were entering the home. You agreed to seal it up but you didn't want our recurring trapping service. You wanted us to just setup the traps and pick them back up in a few weeks. Unfortunately with that type of setup, we have no control without monitoring the situation. We did attempt to come pick up the traps but had to keep rescheduling our pickup with you because you kept requesting more time. <br>I think the real reason you are upset is that you felt like you could have gone and bought traps yourself and had the same results. Which is true. What you are really paying for when you use a service, is the experience and knowledge of the team doing the trapping.<br>You could go to walmart and buy all the fishing bait you want, but if you don't know how what speed to reel it back in, where to cast your line, what type of bait to use in each scenario, and when to switch to a different bait, you may not get the same results as an experienced professional. <br><br>Again, I'm sorry you didn't get the results you preferred. In the future, if you would like to try it yourself first and THEN hire a professional, you might have better luck. I hope you found something that worked for you Geordie.

We had roof rats and called and got an appointment with Boyd. He came out and checked the attic and outside, set some traps and said he would be back in a week to heck traps. He didn't show and I then contacted company. They called a few days later saying they just got our information and set up a time for him to come back. He found one rat, took all the traps and we were charged $750.00. I will not recommend Green Machine to anyone.
