My young family and I stayed at La Quinta Inn in Peoria, AZ which is serviced by Invader Pest Management. The room we stayed in was infested with bed bugs and my wife and daughter were badly bitten. We were also not able to take our clothing and belongings back to our home without treating everything extensively on our own time and money. Despite our actions to report the incident to hotel staff in writing, document the conditions, take photos of the bugs and the bites, the hotel representatives took no action to remedy the situation, nor did they protect future consumer's safety. In talking with hotel representatives, it became apparent that hotel management was working with this pest company to purposefully withhold information and reports so the hotel would not have to take responsibility to remedy the affected guests nor would they need to close rooms for future guests. We contacted Invader directly and they were not willing to discuss anything. A service-based company has an obligation to protect the health and safety of consumers. They are failing at this obligation and their pest service is clearly not effective at this hotel.
I’ve been a client of Invader since 2005 for weed control. I highly recommend them. My landscapers love them as well. No weeds to pull. This is a great company. You won’t be disappointed

Seth did a great job treating the area. Main concern is the bark scorpions and he took special care to defend our home against the pesky little critters. The office staff continues to be greawt, as well. Thank you everyone!

5 STAR service - thanks for the review!
Invader Pest (John) came out On Feb 13 to diagnose a pest issue in my bedroom. He stated he wasn’t sure of what the problem was but thought it was possibly excrement from cockroaches or crickets. He stated a person from the company would come out on Feb 14 to do a one time treatment. He drew up a contract and I signed it for $60. The person came out and treated the area but then continued to spray the baseboards and patio in the entire condo which I never agreed to, in fact, he was told the HOA sprayed the outside last week but he continued to spray. When finished, he stated I owed him $199.99. I stated a contract was signed for the one time treatment only and the cost was $60. Per speaker phone, he, myself and a person from the company discussed this and all agreed on the $60 which was charged as the contract stated. The next morning my credit card was charged $60 then another charge came later for $139.99. The guy had gone out to his truck and charged me behind my back for that amount. So dishonest! Contacted the company on Monday Feb 16. Trish at Invader stated it was a “mistake” and a refund would be issued but may take up to 2 weeks. I will be watching to see if I get the refund, otherwise will pursue this further. I would not trust this company again and hope others will read this.

Lied to us
I would give this company zero stars, if possible. They claim integrity and care for their customers as a business motto. I can attest that this is not accurate. Stay far away from this company, and don't let them anywhere near your private property. On our last service, our collie ran outside. He got nowhere near the technician and didn't pay him any mind. This guy jumped on top of my van, broke my windshield, and dented my hood. He took one look at the damage he caused and walked away. Then he walked up to my brother and the dog like nothing happened. No apologies or even letting us know when he had done. We had to comb through security footage to find out what happened. After the office said they would take care of the damages, they milked it out over a month and then said they weren't responsible. I have everything on video showing the dog was nowhere near their technician. Obviously, we fired this company. I'm currently looking for a lawyer, but I have been busy. Regardless, keep these people away from your property. I have a feeling they won't take responsibility for anything their technicians do. To respond to their response. There was no chase by a dog. I have video proof that the dog never came anywhere near their technician. I stand by that they are not professionals, and insurance companies will always deny claims. It's what they do. Paying out doesn't earn them anything.

We handled this situation professionally, we asked for the video from the homeowner, sent to our insurance(that did take time - but we didn't milk it - insurance company handled it and denied coverage as they determined we were not liable), due to video showed that homeowner didn't have control of their dog. We did appologize, this kind of stuff is never popular and is unfortunate, but we do also CARE for our employees, and getting chased and bit by dogs is not good either. We have and do take responsibility for our technicians for over 30 years, and the rarity of situations like this are far and few, but our customers are always concerned and take great care to make sure their pets are secure and not going to harm our professionals.

We expect our Service men to follow the posted speed limits, and when they dont, a phone call will get our attention and we deal with it appropriately. Been using this company for awhile now and the service has been less than satisfactory lately. The last tech was in and out within 30 minutes. Didn't check or replace the glue boards, didn't knock down the spiderwebs. Definitely not we pay for. When I spoke to them in the office, they said they'd pass the information along. We are definitely looking in other companies.

Of course, I don't like to hear when a customer is NOT Completely satisfied with their service, but as we tell our our customers, if you have a concern with service or pests, etc... just call us, we completely guarantee our work. I see that you were resecheduled for a Call back service as quickly as possible (after we were able to contact you) to assess your concerns... <br>Hopefully you were just having a bad day, but you havent had a call back since Aug. of 2023, So I dont see where you have reported to us less than satisfacotry service lately, believe me, we want to know, but hope you will call our office, not post One Star Reviews, we really do CARE for our customers and would hope that you would just contact us, we will take care of you! You have been a customer since 04/05/2019 so for us, you are NOT a just "for a while now" customer, you are a valuable long time customer now for 5 years! The tech did not know what he was treating my lawn for. They have been coming for several months and my contract clearly states nut sludge. They never have treated for that and I have discussed it with the tech and personally with the office. Not happy at all.

Charles, I will review your agreement and if we contracted for Nut Sedge, you will get that service. (ON ME), please call the office. Tell them the Boss said so. (ask for Fred) if you need too.<br>We aren't perfect, and maybe we didn't get that into the service order, if tech didnt know about it, he wouldnt just do that service as it requires a selective herbicide. I will ensure you get it taken care of.
Since I forgot about the appointment and no service was done today, at all, I think it's interesting that I got this email with specifics about a completed service. It makes me wonder if previous service actually had the chemicals put down that they claim, since NONE was put down today, and yet they claim a full service!

I reviewed your service order, he was there, he did treat front of structure and made notes that you should contact our staff to reschedule a completion of the service. As you said, we were there, you forgot about the appointment, and now you punish us with a bad review... we simply ask our customers to communicate with us, we guarantee all our work, even if we make a mistake we fix it! We have been serving this community with integrity for nearly 30 years and wouldn't jeopardize our reputation by cheating our customers as you have basically insinuated in this review.

After paying a $179 for an inspection and rejecting a proposed contract in writing and verbally well over a month ago. I was charged today for $45. I was incensed by this and called them and spoke to someone in the accounting department who admitted it was a mistake and a credit would be forthcoming. I was rewarded for this effort by yet another $45 charge this afternoon. I already took an expensive haircut on the initial inspection, that’s on me - now I’m being charged for service I did not ask for and they managed to charge me yet again.
