As a local business ourselves, we take who we trust at our base of operations seriously and Chris absolutely delivered. He came out to proactively spray our entire home ahead of Arizona’s peak bug and pest season, and the experience was top-notch from start to finish. He showed up right on time, was extremely professional, and took the time to walk me through the products he was using and how they work. What stood out most was how safety-conscious he was. We have cats in the home, and he made sure everything used was animal-friendly and clearly explained the precautions taken to keep pets safe. That level of care and transparency matters. It’s clear he knows his craft and takes pride in doing things the right way. Smart Pest Defense will be our go-to from here on out. Highly recommend.

We had a huge scorpion in the house on Tuesday evening and had difficulty reaching our exterminator to come out and take a look. We eventually managed to get an appointment for Thursday, but it was cancelled, which was extremely frustrating. I called Smart Pest Defense, and Chris was able to come out the same day, just a few hours after I made the call. He dealt with the scorpion immediately and also did some preventative work around the property, spraying both inside and outside, among a few other things. He was very personable and did a great job. We will very likely be switching to Smart Pest Defense instead of our current exterminator, as Chris did such a wonderful job and communication was much easier with his company. We are very grateful he was able to come and help us out!

I've made the switch to Smart Pest Defense from Truly Nolan. Chris was awesome and I loved the fact that he's the owner and came out to look at my house and do the work. He's super personable. As a matter of fact, one of our cats went straight up to him and Chris knelt down and gave Sherman pets for a minute or so while he spoke with me and my wife about our millipede problem. Chris was sure to mention that his pesticides wouldn't harm our animals, but to keep them away while everything dried out. He found the spot (our slider) where the millipedes were getting in, sprayed, laid sticky traps, told us the millipedes will likely come out to escape the pesticide and that the sticky traps would grab them and he was spot on! The sticky traps have probably 15 to 20 millipedes in them, but we haven't seen a new one crawling around for a few days. Way to go Chris! I've made the switch to Smart Pest Defense from Truly Nolan. I have nothing bad to say about my experience with Truly Nolan, just like Chris better and I enjoy supporting local business. I'd highly recommend Smart Pest Defense.

I’ve had several pest control companies service both my house and business locations over the years. I generally run into the same issue(s): they come out and promise great service and over the following months the quality of service, attention to detail, and routine follow through begins to suffer. It’s been my experience that Smart Defense has done an incredible job of maintaining service for my 2 homes & 5 business locations. They were able to exterminate some small pest issues that had been going on for 1+ years & are always available for quick /emergency services. Cannot recommend enough and the customer service is top-notch.
