Customer reviews for Parm's Landscape Management
Amy Luedke
Hi residence at Sheboygan Riverview would like to know where the plow guys are today since they left around 4 am ish because the parking lot and sidewalk to main entrance has not been plowed and people are getting stuck trying to get out or in the parking lot. We do not currently have a manager on site to call you people. So I'm leaving this question with the review. Typically they come back after the snow stops but they haven't. 3/16/2026
Provider response
Amy,

We sincerely wish you would have reached out to us directly regarding this concern instead of publicly posting a 1-star review. Had you contacted us, we believe you would have appreciated the plan that was specifically put in place for this particular storm. For reference, during snow events our office is staffed and available 24/7, and you are always welcome to contact us directly at any time.

As you’re likely aware, this was not a typical snowfall. This event brought a significant accumulation of snow combined with high winds that created continuous drifting throughout the day and into the evening. Our team did make an initial visit early in the morning to keep the property passable. However, due to the ongoing drifting, we intentionally delayed the final cleanup visit.

The reason for this is operationally important: the final visit includes fully clearing and salting the entire parking lot. Applying salt while high winds and drifting are still occurring is counterproductive—it causes snow to stick and refreeze on the surface, ultimately leading to worse conditions. By waiting until the drifting subsided, we ensured the final service would deliver the best possible end result.

Our approach for this specific event was designed to balance immediate accessibility with long-term surface quality—keeping the site usable early on while ensuring the final outcome is clean, safe, and properly treated.

Please understand that we take the quality of our service extremely seriously. The plan executed for this event was intentional and based on experience managing severe weather conditions like this. That’s why it’s disappointing to see our reputation publicly criticized when there was a clear, strategic service plan in place.

We would welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly and provide further clarity anytime.

Pharm did my neighbor's yard. I am having them come and do mine. Great work.

The Parm's crew did a great job on my lastest landscape project. Been using them for years and have always been pleased with their work.
Provider response
Years of projects and still going strong — we love it! 🌿 Thank you for trusting Parm’s time and time again. We’re glad the latest landscape project turned out great!

We cannot say enough about the amount of services and quality of the work of Parms Landscaping. We have used about every service they offer. Dan's Landscaping work made our property more accessible, better looking, and much improved drainage. Kenny who maintains our yard is beyond amazing. He treats our property like it was his own. Everyone who is employed at Prams including management are just great people.
Provider response
Thank you for your business Barb. We are thrilled to hear you had an outstanding experience with both our landscape design team as well as our installation crew!

Had a young man by the name of Draven, come up to my door doing door hangers, he was very polite and very understanding with answering the question I had asked him about calling and setting up snow removal for my house and he gave me all the information I needed. with that being said Parms landscaping is doing a great job hiring very smart and polite workers. Thank You Parms!
Provider response
Thank you for the great feedback! Draven knocked it out of the park (and politely, too!). We’re proud of our team and appreciate you recognizing the care they bring to every interaction. Thanks for the shoutout and support! ❄️🌱

I had recently posted a bad review for snowplowing. I truly need to 'eat crow'. It was a misunderstanding that escalated across the neighborhood in a manner that it should not have happened. The customer service at Parm's is FANTASTIC. If you have any issues with the company, SPEAK with them & the owner will to his best to resolve your issue. I also have my lawn sprayed by them in the warm season and my grass looks so much better than before this service. Plus, the mosquito control is great! My 97 year old mom could enjoy sitting outside without being bothered by those pests. I do recommend this business.

I live in a trailer park and they don't seem to plow up to the drive way when cars aren't in my driveway and when they do they leave a lot of snow in my driveway. I was informed that the guy that was plowing here no longer wants to plow the trailer park. Therefore the rude and inexperienced owner decided he was going to come plow the trailer park and tore up 3 feet of my grass. Oddly and conveniently they do not do plow damage in the summer.
Provider response
Andy,

We want to address several points in your review clearly and factually.

It is true that our employees no longer wish to service your trailer park. This is not due to a lack of professionalism or experience, but because they have been repeatedly sworn at and treated disrespectfully every time they come out to plow. It reached a point where our company has already formally asked property management to find a new snow removal contractor as soon as possible. Our staff should not be subjected to ongoing verbal abuse. Because we value and protect the work environment of our employees, the owner personally stepped in to take over servicing this account. With that said, be thankful that we are still providing the service in the meantime, even with the verbal attacks and attacks at our reputation continuing, or you would not have any snow removal service at all.

Regarding snow being pushed back at the end of the road: due to your previous concerns about plowing all the way to pavement edges, we were intentionally pushing snow farther back to create space for additional snow. With another snow event starting in just a few hours, this was done out of respect for you, so snow piles would not begin blocking your driveway in future storms. Unfortunately, this effort was once again met with more cussing and hostility toward the plow driver while he was actively trying to ensure future snow events did not block your driveway to accommodate your concerns.

As for lawn damage, our snow removal contract with your trailer park explicitly states that any lawn damage associated with snow removal is repaired at our expense in early spring after the snow season ends. You are attacking our reputation over something we have already contractually committed to fix. In reality, out of consideration for your prior concerns, we were intentionally pushing snow piles farther back onto lawn areas to help prevent your driveway from becoming blocked during future snow events. At times, doing this can result in lawn damage. Even so, we chose this approach specifically to be respectful of your needs—despite knowing that any resulting repairs would be our financial responsibility.

While we were making these extra efforts to accommodate you and protect driveway access, even at our own expense, we were once again met with yelling, profanity, and attempts to damage our reputation through these negative reviews.

At this point, if making a good-faith effort to push snow back far enough to prevent future blockages of your driveway results in our employees being sworn at and receiving negative reviews—especially when lawn damage is already addressed at our cost—then we will no longer push snow off the pavement at the end of the street moving forward. This will mean that future snow events may begin to block your driveway.

Parm's is contracted for snow removal from the park I live in. I am disabled, but I cleared the snow out of my parking spots and also partially cleared the roadway as parm's had not done so this morning. when I came out later in the day, there was a plow drift blocking my entire parking area but still in the roadway. I left a message with the park management due to the fact that this was more than a normal plow drift and that the garbage service will most likely not pick up my garbage due to the fact that the plow drift was 2ft high and 3ft across. I heard the plow truck from parm's out there later and went out to take the garbage down to the road only to find out the snow was still blocking my parking spots. I flagged the driver down and asked him if he was going to remove the drift. He said its not his responsibility, I said its clearly street side. He then starts to say its the same height as the fallen snow in the field ( not sure where he was going with that) . I asked him why he cant do the job he is getting paid to do. He then says screw you, I'm not going to help you and drives off. Will never recommend anyone use their services.
Provider response
Art, we’re genuinely sorry you feel frustrated, but this review is not an accurate representation of what took place.

To clarify for anyone reading:
Art lives in a trailer park where all homes are located on one side of the private road. Parm’s is contracted only to plow the roadway, and 100% of the snow is pushed to the opposite side of the street—away from the trailers. No plowed snow was placed in front of Art’s driveway, or anyone else’s.

When our driver was flagged down, he remained courteous, calm, and respectful, even as he encountered disrespectful, aggressive, and threatening behavior. He attempted to show Art the untouched (“virgin”) snow on the trailer side of the street—along with the large snowbanks on the opposite side—clearly demonstrating the direction of all plowing.

The pile of snow at the end of Art’s driveway was not created by our plow. It was created by the snow Art himself shoveled from his driveway and placed at the end.

It’s also important to note that the property owner does not contract us to clear driveways, only the roadway. Still, during the conversation, our driver explained that helping with one driveway would mean residents throughout the entire community would expect the same service.

Even so, there was a moment where our driver was willing to help Art as a courtesy—despite it being outside our responsibilities. Unfortunately, the verbal attacks continued, and our staff member appropriately informed Art that he could not remain there to help while being spoken to that way.

At Parm’s, we believe kindness goes a long way, and in this interaction, only one party demonstrated that.

We will continue providing the respectful, reliable service we are contracted to perform for this community.

Shawn and Alex did a great job burying our downspout. They are hard working, cleaned up after themselves, and were easy to communicate with. Thanks guys!
Provider response
Thank you so much for the review! I’ve had Parm’s do numerous things including weed control, lawn fertilizer, pruning, fall/spring cleanup and recently power washing our patio, resetting a few pavers and having interlocking cement put down. They did an awesome job! They also redid our step coming in from the patio that had settled too much. Thanks for anlways going above and beyond!
Provider response

Parm landscape and snow removal does not do a good job. They have mowed over planted trees along with tomato cage, shoot the grass clippings in my flower beds every week, broke a window weed whacking and haven't replaced from 6 weeks ago or replaced my blue spruce. Wrecked picnic table from pushing it with mower. Absolutely worst landscape service ever. Snow removal is not any better. Definitely don't do a contract for year with Parm's, anybody else will do better! Fairview Crossings learned the hard way about Parm's service. They absolutely should replace or fix anything they have destroyed but yet they haven't since April 26,2024. I will continue to let people know how Parm's treats their customers.
Provider response
At Parm's, we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding service to our clients. It is unfortunate to hear that someone has received less than the best we have to offer. Although this review is not from the client we are directly hired by, we’d like to explain how attentive we are to resolving issues.

The area of lawn mentioned is mowed under contract with a large complex. We had no knowledge of extremely small individual tree seedlings that were planted in the middle of lawn areas between mowing visits. We also had no knowledge that the owner of this complex allows renters to install new trees themselves in the turf areas we are obligated to mow. We would have appreciated being made aware that tree seedlings were planted in the middle of lawn areas, as given that this tree was mowed over speaks how small it was and how easily it could have been missed by our mowing staff whom were given no notice to be mindful for these extremely tiny tree seedlings.

Any damage incurred, which is generally accidental, is reported immediately by our employees, and passed along to the owners.

Resolution was immediately made to repair the broken glass, as a contractor was hired by us within an hour of this unfortunate incident taking place. The contractor responded within a few hours to temporarily board the window up. We have been proactive with this repair as we have followed up with this contractor numerous times. The explanation we are being given by the contractor is that the replacement window was a special custom order and has been delayed for months by the manufacturer. Parm’s, however, did initiate the resolution immediately, as was done with the bench also, of which we have received no response yet from the owner as to the proper course of action. It will however be handled to the best of our ability along with the property owner when we receive a response from them.

We take quality, service, satisfaction and care of our clients properties extremely seriously. The employee that was responsible for these issues and had not performed to these standards is the exception and not the rule at Parm's, and has since had their employment terminated.

We appreciate the feedback received here, but wish it was more reflective of how we handle problems when they occur, rather than the problems themselves.

Waited three weeks just for an estimate. The customer service was the worst I’ve experienced. Unfortunately they will never receive my business
Provider response
Jen, getting proposals out to potential clients quickly is extremely important to us. We have looked through our system, and we have had appointments with 7 different people with the name Jen or Jennifer in the past 6 weeks. A proposal was sent out following every single one of these appointments.

Have you contacted us looking for your proposal? It's possible it may have ended up in your spam folder, or that we have an inaccurate email address for you. Due to this review being left without a full name, we are unable to look into this further.

If you reach out to us, we'd love to confirm that we have an accurate email address and resend your proposal to you.

This company was hired by the city of Sheboygan to grind 3 tree stumps in front of my house. I was told this would take 1 week. That was 4 weeks ago I’ve called multiple times each time the lady on the phone tells me it’ll be done by the end of the week. I have no off street parking and they have destroyed my grass. I would not recommend to even shovel snow. Worst landscape company I’ve ever dealt with.
Provider response
Each stump ground is scheduled to be ground, cleaned up, filled in and seeded during the same week. The only reason this does not happen is if there is a car blocking the access of our equipment when we arrive. Just as your own picture shows a vehicle blocking access to the area from the street. We make revisits to the stumps we can not access almost daily, so if you could please not block access from the street to these areas we can almost guarantee it will be completed within 24-48 hours. Additionally, your pictures themselves show fresh tire tracks on the pavement from one of our machines, so this does not at all resemble something that has been sitting like this for 4 weeks. Furthermore, this process is not destroying your grass. This process is grinding a stump, and establishing lawn in the city owned median. We have a GPS log of every visit we have made. If this indeed has been like this a while, I think you would be surprised as to how many attempted visits we have made to your particular area only to find access to these areas blocked by a vehicle - We'd be more than happy to share this information with you.

so after asking a crew member about when there mess would be picked up from our yard was told the next day. A week later (still not taken care of) I called and spoke to a female who again said it would be taken care of the next day and yet again wasn't. waited almost another 2 weeks and call was refused but someone (who wouldn't answer to my question who i was speaking with) responded by text messages. Then decided to totally try and pass the buck saying it was a different company that did the work however I had pics of the company truck with their name on it when they were here doing the work SMH! Then lied a second time saying that they have nothing to do with the company that did the work lol. Mind you, the same person owns and runs both "companies". going on week 5 still have a dangerous giant hole on my easement of my property that is in no way marked or have any kind of safety barrier to prevent any accidental injuries. Company is very unprofessional in my opinion. obviously whoever is answering calls or messages representing this company has no problem lying and/or just telling customers what they can to "shut the caller/customer up" (in my impression and opinion). I would seriously never hire this company and recommend none else uses this landscape and tree removal company. More than 5 wks to grind a small stump, dig out and clean up the grindings and fill the hole with dirt? Ridiculous!
Provider response
This review is being left in regards to a project that our company isn't even involved in. We do not have a single employee on our payroll that is a part of the project Nic is upset about and have already communicated this directly to Nic. We even helped get him information from the company completing the work.
Wayne Casteel
I have used them in the past with good results. But something changed. This time I wanted a tree removed and then replaced with new one. After several weeks they came to remove tree, which they did but left a two foot high stump. The tree they brought was half the size I wanted. I canceled the new tree and then had to wait another couple of weeks until I got the stump ground out, and they left a mess in the street for me to clean up. Will not recommend nor use again.
Provider response
Wayne, thank you for your willingness to have a phone conversation after leaving this review. As mentioned on the phone, we hold our staff to very high standards and expect them to be cleaning up after themselves better than this prior to leaving jobsites. If you choose to do business with us in the future (I hope you do!), please call our office with any concerns and we will be more than happy to send our team back out to address any concerns immediately.
Robert Schwartz
This is the second year I have used them. My net feedback is that they cut lawn when not needed; when I've stopped them from cutting in the past, employees have made it known that management won't be pleased that a mowing was skipped. This came to ahead on 10/24 when they started cutting my lawn- I ran out to stop them and they continued despite my direct comment to stop immediately; they said since they already started they needed to finish. Surprised at his response since I showed him that all he was doing was riding over my lawn without cutting anything. I emailed the office to voice my concern, including a picture of the lawn showing no clippings anywhere, and found their reply to be extremely unhelpful. I will NEVER do business with this company again as what they say and what they do are two separate things.
Provider response
Robert - When you hired us to mow your lawn this year you sent back your proposal with weekly crossed out on our proposal and you hand wrote biweekly on our proposal form. I personally called you and informed you the reasons we do not provide a biweekly mowing service. The biggest reason that was expressed to you is because of how fast lawns grow in spring and fall, we take the quality of our service extremely seriously, and that lawns would look like a hay field because mowing just twice a month would not be able to keep up with the growth of the lawn. However, we did inform you that we do skip lawns that do not need to be cut and do not charge for these visits. The assessment that our management would not be pleased if a mowing visit is skipped is not an honest statement, as your lawn mowing was skipped a total of 5 times this year, and you were not charged. In regards to the visit on 10/24, our company sent you a letter just a few weeks prior to this visit to inform you we plan on continuing to cut weekly during the month of October to keep up with falling leaves. This letter explained how this plan avoids the need for our mowing clients to pay for leaf cleanup charges prior to us being able to mow the lawn. In the letter you received it specifically stated, "If you feel fall mowing should be handled differently on your property, please contact us." At no point did you reach out to us to express you would like your mowing handled differently than what we communicated our approach was for your property. Additionally, at the time our mowing crew finished mowing your property on 10/24 they had to blow the clippings off the hard surfaces. This would not have been the case if the mowing was not needed. You did email us a picture showing no clippings left over your lawn surface after the mowing was completed. This is a normal quality requirement our mowing clients have for our company. Our clients do not want unsightly visible clippings laying over their lawn at the time a mowing visit is completed. This review is being left after my office emailed you encouraging you to seek another provider next season that does not hold the high quality standards that our company does.
