Very quick and professional. Even came on a Saturday, when I was expecting to have to wait until after the weekend. Had a pretty serious wasp nest in the ground, and after trying several times to handle it myself over a period of a couple weeks, they were able to resolve it in less than 24 hours with one attempt. Highly recommend and would use them again.

Made an appointment, they never showed up, called and they didn't answer. Left messages and they never called back. If this is how they handle their customers, should we worry about how they handle poison? Save yourself the headache find someone better..

According to our best investigation and looking into this matter this is a fake review. First, we have no person in our system by this name. Secondly, we never take an appointment with someone without directly putting the customer information into our system at the time the appointment is taken over the phone. Our system shows no missed appointments with anyone. It makes the most sense to us that this is most likely a disgruntled former employee, a personal vendetta, or someone that was sent to collections.

They never provided their service and 6 months later sent us an invoice for services never rendered. Then within 12 hours threatened collections. This company is a joke.

This is factually incomplete. We provided a portion of a termite treatment to the client. The entire project ultimately was not completed. Upon inquiring with the client as to the background on the situation and an audit of our records, we discovered that only a portion of the project was performed. We adjusted the invoice to reflect and only charge for that portion of the project that was performed. The client did end up paying only for the work that was performed, however, they felt they shouldn't have to pay for the work that was performed, hence the review which is a partial truth, not a complete account of what occurred. Our company isn't perfect and sometimes we make mistakes. In this situation we adjusted the invoice to only be paid for what we did. In addition, we even discounted the adjusted amount to the client in light of the situation as opposed to what it ordinarily would have been.

We had no issues with Extermiman until the end of our contract when we started seeing black widows near our house and other spiders inside our house less than a month after our quarterly spray. Just this morning I had a spider crawl across my kitchen counter, which is what prompted me to leave a review. The last guy who came obviously did a shoddy job, but Extermiman won't do anything about it unless we re-sign. We even contacted the owner to no avail. I'm disappointed because they've done a good job until now, and we would have re-signed had they demonstrated better customer service in our situation. Now we'll just do it ourselves to make sure it's done properly. EDIT: Lowered rating after business's "top-notch" response.

Thank you for the review. We honor our guarantees 100%, therefore the only way we would not have come and retreated is if your service time was out of warranty. The need to retreat is not necessarily due to a shoddy job of a technician. Increased activity at certain times of the year can cause a need for retreatment. Our customer service is top notch (and the fact that the company escalated the issue to the owner and you discussed it with them shows the level of attention and concern on the matter), we honor our guarantees 100%, no questions asked other than what and where the issues are. If someone is out of the guarantee time period, then yes, we require payment for service to continue to engage over time. Otherwise, people would be asking for free services beyond their guarantees and that isn't a practical business model to be able to sustain staying in business. This is pest control/pest management which with some pest issues like spiders, the treatments are designed to reduce and control their numbers and population over time. Also, black widows are more of an issue in the fall than other times of the year, so the timing of the review is interesting.

Apparently they don’t want business. I called about 4 times to get help with a problem and they said they’d call back with a solution, TWICE. Called again and had to leave a message since I hadn’t heard from them still, and no call back. This was within a period of a couple weeks. Pretty disappointed.

On Tuesday 3/13/18, I had a representative from Extermiman come to my home to check and see if I had a bird(s) in my attic. (It sounded like there was a bird right above the ceiling exhaust fan in my first floor bathroom.) When the representative came to my house, She mentioned to me that she was covering for the original technician who had a family medical emergency. The representative brought in her ladder and set it up to enter the attic from another first floor bedroom. She said the ladder was old and not sturdy and didn't like using it. I told her that I would lean on the ladder to stabilize it. I asked her if she would mind taking pictures of whatever she found in the attic. So the representative was up in my attic for less than 5 minutes. When she came down, she told me that there were no birds in the attic. What she found was a that there was a hose (ceiling exhaust fan vent hose) that was detached to the outside (wall vent outlet aka wall cap). She told me that she was unable to make the repair. She said that she would speak to someone in her company and they would get back with me. So I paid the representative the agreed upon service call fee of $127. I asked her if she would send me the pictures that she had taken. She did an hour after she left. I didn't here back from the company so I called them this afternoon 3/20. I spoke with the person who I originally made the initial appointment. We scheduled a follow up appointment. He said that the representative that made the initial visit would return to make the repair. I mentioned that I hoped that I would not have to pay any fee's to make the repair. He said that there would be a fee. (When I made the initial appointment, the representative said something about the $127 service fee would go towards repairs that would need to be made. I honestly do not remember exactly what the $127 would go towards.) He made mention of travel cost and cost to purchase gaffer's tape. I asked the representative if he had seen the pictures that were taken during the initial visit. He said no. I explained to him that all that was needed to make the repair was a flathead screwdriver to attach the vent hose to the wall cap with the hose clamp that was still attached to the inside of the wall cap. You can see it in the picture I have attached. The repair could have been easily made on that visit. If the representative didn't have a flathead screwdriver and maybe some duct tape (not sure if tape was needed) in her vehicle, all she would have had to do is ask me if I had those items. It is my opinion that the representative didn't have the experience to make this simple repair. The representative said that he would speak with the owner of the company to see if he would be willing to make the repair at no cost. I shortly received return call and was told that there would be a $45 charge to make the repair. I told the representative that I did not want them to make the repair. I also mentioned to him that I was going write a review about my experience with there company. There customary fee of $127 is justified for the normal service calls they make. I feel this service call was an exception. There was no need to really take the time to investigate for pests, termites or wildlife to control. It took more time setting up the ladder (which I lent a hand) than it did to figure out what was wrong. I wish that I was able to make the repair, but unfortunately, I am totally disabled due to having Multiple Sclerosis, and I'm also on oxygen full time. Lastly, I want to mention that the representative that I spoke with on the phone and the representative that came to my home were very professional and respectful.

Mr. Klein, I discussed this issue with my staff. The $127.00 service call was to discover what you believed to be a bird problem, or other issue in the attic, just as you stated. Near the end of your review, you stated there was no need to investigate for pests, etc., however, our inspection found out what the problem was. It was our technician that found out that it was a broken vent hose. We knew no better than you what the issue was until we inspected. Our technician was onsite for over 30 minutes. You make it sound like they were there 5 minutes and did nothing. I talked with the technician, and they told me they conveyed to you that there would be materials plus labor charge, to fix the issue and they estimated that it could be $25.00 to $30.00 in materials plus labor. I told my office staff to quote you the lowest rate we possibly could to fix it, which is not included in our initial service inspection fee. If we discover a pest problem, the service call can be applied toward the service portion of a pest issue, for example, if you had a mouse problem, it could go toward the service portion as if you had called in knowing you had a mouse problem. What is not covered in that fee, are any bait stations, materials, repairs, or exclusion work. This issue falls under exclusion and repairs. I told my office to quote you the lowest possible price to fix it, which is $45.00. I have seen the photo of the problem, and there is a several inch section gap from the hose being torn away form the vent. My technician made it clear that they did not have the materials to fix it with them, and would need to return at a later time if you wanted it fixed. Some of the comments in there, like the condition of the ladder, helping with the ladder (which apparently you offered our female technician, she did not ask for the help), and some other statements, I am not sure how several of these comments are relevant to your primary concern of needing to pay the $45.00 to repair the problem. I personally feel that because you were unhappy with having to pay the repair fee, and somehow because you felt your situation was unique, different, a special circumstance, or an exception as you put it, you took license to mention a number of irrelevant details to slam our company.<br><br>Carl Wilson - President

Carl Wilson was not helpful and rude. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I am Not Ryan Bonham. I am Josh Burkart. I have worked with multiple pest control companies. I would recommend Eradicare Pest Solutions or Hybrid Pest Control as I have had a much better experience with both of those vendors.

Let me start by saying that this is not a review but rather, retaliation. I spend hours of my personal time giving free consultations, free information and insights without any regard for compensation. I have donated countless hours in "helping people" with their pest problems. If people choose to go with us great, if they don't, I always wish them the best and let them know I am here if and when they need us. The guy that posted this, Josh Burkart is/was a property manager for ACS (Advanced Community Services), he was involved with Ryan Bonham in attacking our site on Jan. 7th, 2016. You can Google both of their names and make the connection. Josh has never had direct contact with our company under legitimate circumstances. If he called in, it was under false pretenses, under the radar, that would be the only contact he has had with us if any. You can look up their Google reviews Advanced Community Services in Lehi, UT. You can observe a recurring them with this organization. They stonewall, stonewall, stonewall and then spin the truth. They are social media spinners and spin doctors. If you look across other review sites, it also appears that they astroturf their reviews to cover up the legitimate negative reviews that they receive. I have tried to reach out to Ryan multiple times, unsuccessfully, to resolve a problem he initiated by stonewalling our company and me.<br><br>On January 7th, 2016 our site was attacked "astroturfed" by Ryan Bonham with Advanced Community Services (ACS). On January 6th, 2015, I personally posted a Google review, under my own identity, on Advanced Community Services reviews and my personal experience with Ryan Bonham, some of his staff and his company. I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The following morning, Jan. 7th, much to my chagrin, Ryan had decided to retaliate with negative reviews, some under false pseudonyms (false identities). He posted under the pseudonyms, Esteban Araya (which he pulled down because it was apparently obvious it was him because the remarks identified him as they were connected to my review on his site), Sheldon Worthington, Yosdel Castillo, and his counterpart Josh Burkart. They sent out a young kid who didn't really seem to know what he was doing. He set out some bait boxes but wasn't very knowledgeable about pest control. It's been a while and nothing had changed. In fact, things seem to have gotten worse. We had another company come out who did a much better job. They went in the attic, through every nook of the house and sealed up the places where the mice can get in. They also told us that the bait in our traps, placed by Extermiman, was bad bait and wouldn't do anything for our problem. They put their own bait in and said it'll be more effective than what was originally there. I feel like we paid for some plastic boxes and that's it. We'll never use this company again.

I have searched our database and found a last name Salisbury. I left a voice message with both phone numbers we have in our system. If there was an issue with this client, we provide a guarantee which we perfectly honor, and I never received a call, complaint or anything from this person or client, other than this review, in order to give us a chance, to address the concerns whatever they were. We regularly use a baiting procedure to resolve mouse problems and our success ratio is close to 100%. In situations where there are problems in an attic, it usually does require entering the attic space and a technician should have done that if called for. Exclusion services as this person mentioned are available and provided by our company if a situation calls for it, and there is normally a time and materials charge for exclusion work independent of services rendered for control services. If this person was and still is willing to make themselves known and/or call me, I am more than willing to do what it takes to engage and resolve their problem if they give us the opportunity.
