I've seen him or his crew come out a couple of times and diddle around, poking a carbon monoxide probe into flat patches of dirt without any signs of recent gopher activity. I've used weed man for the last couple years. I've been very happy with the service that I've gotten. I have a beautiful yard, No weeds. And now they have started taking care of the bug problems. I would highly recommend them. Technicians are very good at doing jobs.
