Customer reviews for Pied Piper Pest Control

As a pest control- great company. In customer service- the worst. They continue and continue to charge my credit card after account being closed. They did work on a property of mine in San Antonio, Texas. I have spoken to their highly incompetent customer service. They have repeatedly assured me that my account had been closed, and I still continue getting charged. Very disappointed here. BE AWARE if you cancel your contract. You will remain being charged. And to boot, a service agent went into my home and did a pest service without my consent. Back in the day , that was called TRASPASSING.

Our apartments has pied Piper come in like once a month and usually everything is good but today a different person came. He was an older African American gentleman i didn't get to see his whole name tag but his name started with G. This man came into my apartment very rude and was upset about my baby gates and baby proofing even though i said i could move them. Then he proceeds to tell me that he knows i have roaches even though he couldn't possibly have seen one and told me i needed to clean my house and I'm the one bringing them in. My house is clean it's just lived in. I'm a busy person i go to school and work and i take care of my kids its rude to come in to someone's home telling them how to take care of their own place like they made you come there. You don't know other people's lives.

We’ve been using PP for a few years, with decent results. We’ve begun having problems not only with billing, but now also with a no-show, no-call. We’ve also been seeing insects inside the house again—quite alive I might add—& wasp nests are being overlooked. When I called to request a do over, the woman with whom I spoke tried to talk me out of it. In addition, they set me up for direct bill, but still send a statement every time that I end up having to pay manually anyway. Read the most current reviews to get a good idea about their service. We’re going to switch to another service.

I hired Pied Piper because the company my daughter worked for used them at their office and they were happy with the service. My initial visit was in July and the first quarterly visit was in October. Those were the only times that I can say things went accordingly. I had one visit that I wasn't home for because I was not given notice of the visit. ( Computer issues). To be fair I called the office and the young man that answered the phone offered to go right over because I live right down the street. Luckily my daughter was at my house so she let him in and it was done. The next time I was scheduled at 8:30 on a Saturday, I was home until 9:30, which made me late to my grandsons game, got a call from Josh stating he was at my house , I was across town and I told him I waited for him at 8:30, he had taken it upon himself to change his schedule around for his convenience and didn't call . He did apologize , I told him I had left a message at the office because this wasn't working out. I didn't receive a call back from the office on Monday , when I called that afternoon I was told that there were 14 messages on Monday morning but I wasn't one. Rescheduled for this last Saturday , I was assured someone would be there, NO SHOW, NO CALL!! Brian didn't show up for work on Saturday, I've asked to be taken off their list . I feel like I gave them plenty of opportunities to get this right and it's just not worth the aggravation. They aren't the only pest control in town.

I hired Pied Piper to catch a family of skunks at my house but apparently they don’t employ effective measures to catch them. The reason I am unhappy with their service is the failure to supply an invoice, failure to properly take payment, and failure to explain that visits to reload bait counted against the number of times they came out. It was a flat out lie that ”pickups” meaning they caught something is only thing that counted against how many times they’d come out. I wasn’t given a follow up call to even tell me they failed to catch them. Anyone looking to hire this company look elsewhere. As a disabled vet I rely on companies I hire to do a good job because I can’t do it myself. Thanks for wasting my money and time. Update: While I still stand by the listed issues at least they made steps to contact and rectify the issues I had.

Pied Piper Pest Control on Jones Maltsberger is a dishonest company. Maybe because we are senior citizens They thought they would take advance of us. They quoted us $1,000 to treat our house for termites, Pied Piper promised to treat our foundation every 18 inches but I have not seen any evidence they did that. It looks more like they treated every 3 feet After we paid the $1000.00 They sent us a letter said they would not honor the warranty because we had paid $1,000 and not the $1,004.02. What was $4.02 for? Over $4.02 they will not honor the warranty, I suspect they will use any excuse not to honor any warranty they have.
Provider response
We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your experience. We have attempted to call and have left messages so Pied Piper can set up an appointment to address any and all of your concerns. Please give Richard a return call.

So, honestly no issues with the service and I was with them for 2 years. My challenges begin with every time I would call in if any of the male employees would answer the phone they are rude and act as if they did not want to speak to me or assist. Second, payments. I consistently informed the employees to auto charge me and next thing I know, I am not receiving service since I had an outstanding balance. Again, no issues with the field service techs, only the office who funny enough is probably in charge of the field service techs.

It would be nice to have received a notice that someone would be coming to my house to spray my yard. Very inconvenient.
