Cagey Critter Wildlife Removal & Trapping

Cagey Critters was one of the best decisions we have made in awhile. Jacob was extremely kind, thorough and went above and beyond to remove our pesky skunks under the house. Couldn't be happier with their services and HIGHLY recommend.

I try to post both good and bad regarding my many experiences with people. This has to be one of the best I have ever done! Jacob saved us from the black and white scourge trying to get at our chickens again. It did not spray, his handling was exceedingly well done, and I cannot give a stronger recommendation to help you with pest needs than the one I'm leaving for Jacob Hilton, owner of Cagey Critters! As a retired teacher I do not have abundant income, and Jacob was willing to work with me on pricing and payment, he was polite and very kind. His live catch and release fits with our empathy for all animals, even the extremely smelly ones, and he is a wonderful person! You will not do better by searching, that's a guarantee.

Love this guy! Good explanations, fair price, quality service, family friendly. He helped us check for current (and prevent future) rat troubles in our attic. We’ll be having him back for any armadillo problems in our backyard!

Its Sunday night, Memorial Day weekend and im staring at a raccoon on the other side of my attic, i cant get him out, and who would possibly be able to help on a holiday weekend at 11pm!?! Called around and Jacob picked up right away, came right out! Literally fearless getting it chased off the roof and had it trapped the next day. He’s the absolute real deal and i couldnt be more grateful he got the raccoon before it did any serious damage. Cant recommend Jacob enough, the raccoon didnt stand a chance!

We had an excellent experience with Cagey Critters. They provided same-day service and humanely removed a female skunk and her five kits from our property with care and efficiency. Jacob took the time to find out where the squirrels were causing havoc in my attic. He closed up all the entry/exit points, set traps and kept an eye on activity. He was very professional, did an amazing job and was quick to respond to my inquiry!! I have no more squirrels to deal with! I highly recommend Cagey Critter!!!

I never post on any social media, but am making an exception for Jacob. He has the most exceptional work ethic of anyone who has ever done work in my home. He is diligent, conscientious, thorough and knowledgeable. We knew some critter was in our attic and was possibly injured or trapped. We called Jacob on a Saturday afternoon. He came about 2 hours later. He kept us informed of everything he was going to do and how he was going to do it. He determined there was at least one baby raccoon. He found two, but he didn't quit. He told us that raccoons usually have a litter of 3-5, so he went back to look for more. He found them all! He was so polite and pleasant. If you have a critter problem, inside or out, you can't go wrong having Jacob take care of it! As an aside, while he was in the attic he noticed some corroded a/c ducts. He took photos to show us the situation. That was much appreciated as we were unaware of the problem.

Jacob is a very honest and great guy who does excellent work at a fair price. I'm very happy we used his services. He provided us with complete details of all the work to be accomplished. Final results: squirrels caught and issue resolved. Thanks.

*Reliable*Professional*Honest* We contacted Jacob and the next day he was at our home, inspected the entire attic and roof, set up traps and cameras and the squirrel that was in our attic was caught. Once squirrel was trapped Jacob did a very professional job of preventing future access to our attic,he went above and beyond to do a very neat clean job. Jacob spent time answering all our concerns and kept us updated and shared videos and pictures during the process. Very grateful that we found Jacob and Cagey Critter.He made a stressful situation go smoothly and faith that we still have reliable, honest people in the world.

Jacob was very helpful from the start. He is the one that assesses the situation and does the work as well. He explained things and did not push me to have work done that wasn’t necessary. His prices are very reasonable and not like the other companies that were quoting very high prices for the same work.

Highly recommend! Caught 4 skunks (we thought we only had 2) who had made a home under my porch. Multiple days and trips back to my house. Caught at least one every night a trap was set and two one night. Kept me informed on arrival times. Highly recommend!

Jacob came to my ranch and sets traps to catch coyotes that were killing my Axis deer, he was very successful in doing so. Trapped numerous coyotes in a short period of time! Great guy to know!

I had too many critters in my backyard. The raccoons attacked my outdoor cats and the skunks were living in my back patio. Jacob did an awesome job in catching them, now I feel safer in my backyard. His prices is reasonable than most companies. I'm glad I reached out to him. He is very professional in everything he has done. Jacob was highly recommended by a neighbor and he lived up to the recommendation and more. After just a couple trips and cage management experience, he took care of our raccoon issue. He even gave us some great home hacks to keep future raccoons off our roof, property, etc. he even had a great recommendation for a thorny hornet issue and that problem got taken care of as well . We urgently needed skunk removal and Jacob was fantastic. He was able to come out to the house that same day and he safely removed the skunk we had caught in our trap. I feel that we paid a very fair price for this service too.

Once he started the process he kept us alert of each task necessary to complete the assignment. Jacob does great work. Very responsive. He was able to remove a dead raccoon under my deck on short notice before it starting smelling really bad. He also did a great job sealing the deck with mesh after the fact so others couldn’t get in. Very reasonable prices for services as well. Very professional.

I've used cagey critter over the last two years to trap nuisance pest like skunks and raccoons as well as grey foxes when their population gets to high. I tried many others over the years and they are the only ones that could consistently trap nuisance pests and the only ones that were able to trap the grey foxes. Great service, reasonable prices and results. Customer for life.

We had three baby raccoons in our attic and Jacob was very quick in locating and capturing all three. He relocated them to a Tx Hill Country refuge.
