I don’t even know where to start. I had told them it was my partner who would be home, I am at work on a call and the guy arrives at my house and calls and texts me “is anyone home?” Without even knocking on the door. Had to text my partner to go outside and get the guy like why is he just sitting in the car? I had a whole thing written out on what we have experienced, there are worms and bugs falling out of the vent hood. I even saved the bugs in a bag and he didn’t identify them. He apparently invalidated our experience and said they’re coming in from outside (they are coming from the vent hood, in the attic). I specifically asked for sealing up the vent hood and attic and also asked for a second quote for total insulation redo. I stated I didn’t want to sign up for a monthly spray membership. What does he do? Says that you can’t seal up an attic for bugs, that they only do rodents and the attic looks fine. And the only quote he gives is for a bi-monthly spray membership that doesn’t touch the attic. He was so insistent, My partner even told him, “I guess you can send the quote for it but that’s not what we are wanting, we are concerned about the attic and we aren’t going to do that.” Worst ever. Biggest waste of time. We have joked I have no idea why attic is in their name if they won’t do anything to it to help the situation. Edit: Attached is the communication up front that my partner is the one who will be home and that I will be at work. The below response is garbage, we have a dog who barks like crazy if he had come to the door and knocked we absolutely would have known. Regardless, we were not expecting treatment that visit - I specifically wrote out a letter that was handed to the guy that asked for 2 specific estimates that we did not get.

We take reviews seriously, but we will not allow inaccurate information to go unaddressed.<br><br>Initially, we offered you an appointment between 8–9 AM. You advised that mornings would not work because your partner could not be there and you would be at work, and requested an afternoon time instead. We accommodated that request and scheduled you between 2–4 PM.<br><br>Our technician, Jeremy, arrived within that agreed window, and an “on my way” notification was sent prior to arrival — all of which is documented in our system.<br><br>Upon arrival, Jeremy **did knock on the door** and waited at the doorway for five minutes. After receiving no answer, he returned to his vehicle, remained on-site for an additional 20 minutes, and contacted our office to reschedule. Only after that did your partner come outside and allow him in. So the statement that we did not knock is simply not true.<br><br>If your partner was going to be home and responsible for letting the technician in, that should have been clearly communicated so we could have contacted him directly.<br><br>This appointment was scheduled as an inspection, not a treatment. There appeared to be a misunderstanding, as your partner expected treatment during this visit. The purpose of the inspection was to properly identify the issue first.<br><br>During that inspection, it was explained that the issue would require multiple treatments and was not something that could be resolved in a single visit or by attic work alone.<br><br>We could have easily taken your money and performed unnecessary work and perhaps then this review would make more sense, but that is not how we operate. In fact, we were willing to offer the first month of treatment at no charge to help get the issue under control.<br><br>You were not charged a single dollar for this visit.<br><br>If you take a moment to read our other reviews, you’ll see we’ve helped hundreds of customers by being honest, even when it means not making a sale.<br><br>You can’t make everyone happy, but we will always choose honesty over profit and we will always stand by our team!<br><br>Please do not make false accusations about our staff.<br><br>Thank you, <br>Stephanie <br>Office Manager<br><br><br>Addressing Your Updated Review: <br><br>We’re honestly so confused by your review…<br><br>As stated previously, we were aware your partner would be home.. however, no form of contact was ever provided for him. That is the reason we contacted you directly. The appropriate step would have been to provide his contact information if he was responsible for letting us in.<br><br>Our technician did knock, waited, and followed proper protocol. A dog barking (or not) does not determine whether that happened.<br><br>During the inspection, your attic showed no issues. The concern you had was insect-related and would require treatment. We recently hired this company to take care of a mice problem in our attic, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. From start to finish, they were excellent to work with. They took the time to explain everything in detail, including the extent of the issue and the steps needed to fully resolve it not only did they remove the mice, but they also thoroughly patched up entry points around our home to prevent any future critters from getting in. Their attention to detail really stood out. The work was completed in a timely manner, and the team was professional, courteous, and respectful of our property throughout the entire process.As an added bonus, they even hauled away old wood and debris from our yard where animals could potentially hide. Overall this is a reliable and professional company that truly goes above and beyond. I highly recommend their service to anyone dealing with pest issues.

After the exclusion work was completed the flashing at the roof Ty’s needed to be painted to match the trim color. Edward came out to do the work. The first attempt didn’t match but that was my fault. I gave them the paint formula but due to fading over the years it didn’t work. Edward scanned the trim color and found the perfect match. They have done the fecal cleanup and fogged the attic with a disinfectant. We have a one year guarantee on the exclusion work. We can call them if we think there is new rodent activity. They have been very responsive to our needs and done a though job of fixing our problem.

Edward and Ernesto came out to help me cleanup a gross mess an animal left behind on my back porch. I called so many businesses, but they were the only ones to jump in to help (even though it wasn’t technically a service they normally provide). I am immensely thankful because I just could not handle that on my own. They were at my house within an hour and a half and were super kind, pleasant, and professional. They did a detailed and thorough job, disinfected the whole area, and now my porch looks great! Thanks so much to them!

Jerrod B from Restoration Attics was fantastic. He was thorough, patient, and persistent — he ultimately located the rat by tracking the odor. Jerrod carefully removed the attic board where the rat had fallen, handled the removal professionally, and secured everything back in place. I can't say enough good things about this company and their staff. I had rats and squirls in my attic eating my electrical wiring. The staff was always on time if not early for any appointments. They had excellent communication via texts and phone calls. They were very knowledgeable and professional at all times. To resolve the problem, they installed flashing to seal my attic, painted the flashing to match, installed a game camera and traps in the attic to catch any squirls and rodents, and they came every third day to check the traps. There is also a 5-year warranty if I have any future problems. For what all they did, I feel that the cost was a good value for their service. I was very impressed.
