Stray away from these people and the contract. Still find bugs after treatments. But want a 250 cancelation fee for not doing job they paid to do. Run em off your yard if they knock on your door. Do it yourself for cheaper and atleast you know you can do the job right the first time. You can shove your 250$ cancelation you know where.

Well I always have a different person that comes out. I've had to have them respray several times when if it was done right then I wouldn't have to call them back out. Two weeks ago the tech left my water hose on. Two days later I realized it had been running for all that time. Now I'm getting text from Melissa saying to remember I'm under contract and they will charge me $250 if I break it. My contract was originally signed on 10-01-24. I have a copy of it. It's a 2 year contract with 4 treatments. Y'all keep it up and you will see the side of this customer that you don't want to see. Keep it up Melissa.Also techs always beg for a review cause they get paid extra if they get the company a good review. Stay away from these people! Look at the better business bureau and look at all the complaints.

I’ve been paying these guys for a year to spray/fog for mosquitoes and it has been a complete waste of time and money. Every time they come out and spray, we think that we’re going to be able to enjoy our back patio and that is never the case. Almost every single time I have to call and tell them to come back out again and again I’ve had to speak with management several times and they just can’t seem to get the job done.

The worst most unprofessional company around. Did not do half the things they stated during sign up. Come whenever they want, not when scheduled and still have mosquitos. They double charged me this month and they say I have a 7 month contract or have to pay them 250 for earlier termination fee for canceling this scam of a service. Run as far away from them as possible. Not to mention the pure rude customer service.

Emergency situation I would think they will help me with these things, but they don’t care. They say they will come next Thursday. This is the Airbnb house I need as soon as possible, but they are busy. I said OK I will start looking now. Another company who more like provide me like quick service when something happened like this.
Do not do business with this company! I was charged 5 times and have only received the initial spraying! When I contacted them about the issue, I receive the same delayed response outlining the contract agreement we have. Because I am on the “Gold” package they can bill me rather services are rendered or not! Not that I want out of the contract for services not rendered, they have charged me the additional $250 they apply for early cancellation. Horrible company again strongly recommended using the competitor!!! I will be filing my next complaint with the BBB.

After over 6 years of loyal business — including all my personal homes and flip houses — I’m incredibly disappointed with how I was treated by Romex recently. My mom and I bought a home together and unknowingly both signed up for pest control. Once we realized it, we needed to cancel one service. I made the difficult decision to cancel the company I had trusted for years, not because of the service techs (especially Kannon, who has always been amazing), but because the other company specializes in the lake area where we now live. Unfortunately, the woman I spoke with was rude, unhelpful, and dismissive. I even told her I’d continue using their services for my flips — solely because of Kannon. Instead of showing any appreciation for years of business or trying to keep a loyal customer, they hit me with a $250 cancellation fee. It’s hard to believe a company would choose to lose long-term business — not just mine, but my mother’s and likely many others I’ll now steer away — over a $250 charge. It’s even harder to watch a company that used to be great lose its personal touch after changing names and staff. Treating loyal customers like a number is a fast way to lose your reputation. Kannon — if you see this — you were the reason I stayed so long. I hope the company realizes the value of people like you before it’s too late.

After almost 3 years of pest control service in Weatherford, Tx with Romex Pest Control, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE! My current cost was $94+/mo for pest control (went up substantially each month). On March 31st, one of their employees, after applying the pest control chemicals, approached me at the front door offering a Termite Baiting System that would cost me $1,299 which would be broken down into monthly payments. I was not given a contract to read, but I initialed his handheld device. Little did I know that it would cost me $108.25 plus tax for a downpayment, $108.25 plus tax a month and $33.25 monitoring fee plus tax a month. Totall cost per month of around $145 for a year. The monitoring fee, however, will be billed monthly for a second year. Today is MAY 13th and I just received their contract in the mail, which said, within 4 days of signing the contract, I could cancel. Unfortunately, May 13th is more than 4 days since signing his handheld device. I cancelled my pest control service with them today and will never use Romex Pest Control again. Beware!!
For general use, yes, Romex pest control is okay. At first, they did everything they were supposed to do, and we were happy with the service. It wasn't until June/July 2024 that we started having an issue with tiny little black ants in the bathrooms. I mentioned this to them and even showed them while on a service call one day, and they gave me tiny clear boxes with some type of gel in them. We put them on the sinks and some other areas around the house and saw no progress. As a matter of fact, it got worse. I have ants all over my shower, window seal, sink, and bathtub. The tub is so bad that I have to rinse it first just to use it. There's maybe about 50/60 ants that are visible all the time. More recently, I found one on me while in bed! Fast forward to 11/24. My contract is up, and Romex continued to come. They showed up to do maintenance with no conversation or anything about continuing service. At this time, I'm already looking into other pest control because I still have a huge ant problem, and my contract was already up and paid for. I didn't think I'd hear or see them anymore unless I wanted to renew service, which I feel like warrants a conversation and possibly sign another contract for a year's service, etc. To my surprise, they told me they continue coming out and billing you unless you verbally tell them that you no longer want service. Basically, assuming you want to continue service with them. Then Melissa from the office says it's like Netflix and you have to cancel. I DO NOT HAVE A MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION, I SIGNED A 12 MONTH CONTRACT!!!!!!! Geeze! A supervisor then called me and asked me what the problem was. I told him about my ant problem and proceeded to tell him I wasn't continuing with them. He asked if I would give them the opportunity to fix the issue free of charge, which I was okay with seeing as we're human and mess up so I agreed. What they fail to mention is that they only offer one free treatment. 🙄 They come out, I show them the ants and he treats my bathroom. Today, they come out for the 2nd ant treatment and then try to charge me for it even though this is not what we discussed. Melissa from the office says they don't give away free treatments but they also don't tell you in detail that it's only one free treatment. I was given the impression that they would treat my ant problem for free. It wasn't any better the 2nd time they came out. Please make it make sense why I would pay Romex for a service that isn't helping in the least especially when I was mislead?!!?! Please be sure to ask questions and verbalize everything. This company will try to get you!
I was approached by Horacio at one of my clients houses today. He was very friendly, and quick with his job. However, before beginning, he approached me for a review. It was heavily implied that he gets tipped when he gets mentioned in reviews. If this is a positive "bonus", then great, but if his tips are being withheld to Garner reviews.. that's questionable. Either way, I'm not a fan of being cornered in my car and forced to give a review, when I: A. Haven't seen a service done, or B. Haven't even hired the company myself. The whole situation was strange, and made me very uncomfortable.
