I have tried many bug/exterminating companies with poor results until I came across the Bug Man. Exceptional service, always courteous, shoes off without even asking, keeps me informed on everything he’s doing and every chemical he’s laying down where he’s putting it, they come when I call if I see something between services, I couldn’t be happier. The Bug Man in Murfreesboro has been our pest control service for several years. Kenny has been the tech that visits our home for all those years. I appreciate that when I receive my notice of seasonal appointments I only have to reply to have Kenny call me when he gets to the house and it’s that easy. He is in and out quickly while treating every area thoroughly. I expect to continue using the Bug Man and Kenny for our pest control indefinitely.

I have been a customer of Bug man for a couple of years and before they were bought out David was my technician and he was always great. I had a seasonal visit and a new tech come out. He was cool but it seems like he wanted to do the bare minimum. After he sprayed he seemed like he was done I asked him about putting the stuff down to prevent ants and etc etc. I guess he looked at what David did previously and then decided to proceed with the rest of the service. I don’t know if the service I received prior to me pointing out what else needed to be done substantiated the price especially sense it continues to go up. Another problem I had is the tech helped himself to my outdoor water faucet. I made a joke of it to point it out to him but I feel like its common courtesy to ask before you use. Its water and I don’t mind but you shouldn’t assume its okay just because its there. Everyone might not be okay with it and customers have a right to make that choice.

Everyone who I’ve spoken with has been pleasant and professional however, I’ve had to be serviced twice in 1 month and 2 months after the 2nd service I’m needing to be sprayed again because there are still insects appearing. I used The Bug Man previously (I believe when David was the tech) and I’ve used other companies. I’ve never had to be serviced more than twice a year. Especially with the higher prices (I’m sure due to inflation) I think they should at least offer some sort of compensation other than a 30-day warranty if a customer continues to call.

I have been a customer of The Bug Man for 3 1/2 years, when we bought our house here in the Boro. Our service man was Corey. About a year into our time we heard scratching sounds in our walls in our master bathroom. We called TBM and Corey came out. He told us we didn’t have anything in our house or under our house and that the sounds were “roof rats”, which I asked what they were. He told us “they lived in the trees (we back up to woods) and are in fact rats but won’t come in the house. They scratch on the roof and it echos and sounds like they’re in the house, but they’re not.” Thus eliminating my motivation or need to call if/when we heard sounds again. He placed a bait box beyond my back fence, which I found out from their new serviceman was illegal because of the distance from our house and the fact that it was placed out in and among wildlife. Not to mention it was useless. So, rats took up residence in my crawl space in the winter months. They chewed through my crawl space vents, water lines under my house ($400 repair) and through my moisture barrier in my crawl space. Their new service man let me know that Corey was no longer with the company because he didn’t like going into crawl spaces. He said he was now dealing with many issues with Corey’s customers. David, his manager confirmed all of this information. David asked me to send him the invoices for all of the work we were having to get done to eliminate the rodents, secure the house and sanitize our crawl space. We have hired Complete Animal Removal and have paid them $7,500 for the professional work needing to be done. Once I sent this invoice to David, he told me that it would be referred up to his district manager, Jonathan Cassidy, due to the size of the invoice. He said their insurance would have to cover it, which I understood. Jon called me and told me they would not reimburse me anything since they were not “legally required” to do so and that they were the biggest pest control company in the country (owned by Rentokil Initial, which is a British business group) and losing me would not bother them. They are NOT locally owned, as they advertise, and this decision came from their “corporate legal”. I have cancelled their service and would not recommend them to anyone in the Boro. Shop local. Horrible customer service.

Moved into a house apparently it had an infestation my landlord used the bug man they got rid of them did not see a bug for over a year the bug man comes back out sprays routinely and I have an infestation again and on top of all that I can't get anyone to answer or call me back to come out and get rid of them even though my landlord has approved for them to come back out cuz like I stayed it before we did not have any bugs for over a year and within 3 days of them spraying they started coming out

Said it was bug bugs but it's just roaches.. tried to rip off my 70 year old neighbor by telling him it was the bed bugs cause that is the most expensive service they do. Would not recommend. Orkin came and fixed the roach problem, bed bugs were never even in the equation. -_-

Rip off! First spray didn't work. They was aware if the issue but due to my work schedule it was challenging to have them come out right away. Called today only to be told since I was weeks away from my next spray that I have to pay. I'm furious! To imply the only way to maybe fix the problem is to dish out more money when the first time the treatment didn't work! The lady who I felt with I believe Carrie, was very unhelpful and trying to push the scam really hard! Do not use this company. I opted for them because they was a local company but I see you just can't support everyone. Sincerely, Ms. Person
