Northwest Exterminating - Chattanooga

NW Exterminating takes care of my house from being over-run with bugs.

I would strongly recommend passing on this company’s services. I hired them 2 years ago for quarterly service, and this review would be 1 star, however they actually do consistently show up each quarter. The issue I have is that the exterminators are not very thorough at all. They walk around and knock down spider webs and then completely miss obvious wasps nests that are in process of being built on our back deck and other areas of our exterior. Over the last two summers I have had to routinely treat and remove nests myself. Further their pest control service is expensive - it was $177 a quarter and then suddenly two quarters ago they went up on their price to $199 a quarter without any notification or at least a courtesy call. The icing on the cake that finally made we switch to another company is this giant bald face hornet nest that is hanging above our Front door. We discovered this nest 2 days ago and it’s larger than a football - indicating this nest has been in the works for at least 3 months. Our last pest control service visit was June 8, 2026 and they completely missed it - or if they did see they didn’t tell me about it. Then when I called them about coming to remove it they want another $250 minimum but said it would most likely cost more. I canceled my services with them.

Chris has been so great & helpful with making sure all of my concerns were addressed. I’ve seen a few brown recluse & was worried about my cat. He explained what to look for how they can treat for them and eased my worry about my cat while we treat for them.

I’ve used Northwest exterminating before they were even Northwest exterminating I’ve had the same technician for at least 15 years maybe more and their service is fantastic and they are very caring about the satisfaction of their clients. I would personally highly recommend.

Just had my yearly termite treatment inspection. The service was performed by “Rabbit”. He did a thorough job as usual. I greatly appreciate the pre arrival text I received beforehand.

The two gentlemen what came out to inspect the property and treat were respectable and kind, walking me through the best treatment plan as a renter and making sure I knew what was my responsibility vs my landlord’s. I feel informed and respected, and they didn’t take advantage of my wallet and allowed me informed choice in services. They also spray pet and kid friendly chemicals. Highly recommend.
