Just had my quarterly service call with Alex of Pest Guard. I couldn't be happier with his level of service and for my many years of being a customer with Tyler's ( owner) company. I am always quite pleased with their attention to detail and their ease of scheduling . A satisfied customer for many years ! Thanks Alex for another positive experience !
First class service. They take care of all of our pest control needs. They also encapsulated our crawl space and installed a dehumidifier. I've never been more pleased with a company.

Did a absolutely horrendous job with black plastic and no tape at all. Ithonestly looks like they used the leftovers from multiple jobs. Please do a thorough check when theyre done because i trusted them and didnt inspect as well as i should have now ill have to pay for materials again. The only thing they did right was install a dehumidifier. I could have done a better job myself.
Tyler's company is the best in the biz! Use these guys for all of your pest control needs.
We have been Pestguard customers for over a year now. We have our termite bond through them and they also do pest control maintenance for us. We have been very impressed. They have serviced our home well and are always available for support in between treatments.

PestGuard was used for my CL100 and came back with unusually high numbers (19-26%) compared to the numbers provided by another company every 6 months for the past 4+ years (11-19%). So I had two other companies come out and take a look. PestGuard was spot on that some joists are above 20%, but the low end of the range they provided is high (low to mid-teens would be more accurate). Regardless, the numbers indicate that a dehumidifier is needed. Though likely priced within a reasonable range, PestGuard's dehumidifier quote lacks sufficient detail to know for sure. Missing items include brand and model of dehumidifier, how many pints per day the dehumidifier captures, whether the dehumidifier includes a pump or drains by gravity, warranty details (parts, labor, both, duration?). Though I can certainly call to get answers to these questions, greater up-front transparency would be greatly appreciated.

If I could leave ZERO stars I would. Pest Guard was used for my CL100. They said moisture levels were found that were outrageously high. I had 2 other companies come out within 24 hours and check for 2nd and 3rd opinions. They were unable to find ANY levels that high under my home, and I received 15-20 readings from EACH company. However, I had called Pest Guard 5 times and left voicemails after seeing their results and nobody will call me back. They have caused my buyers to back out of my contract due to their non calibrated machine, and their non willingness to return my call. I have turned them over to Clemson Regulatory for their extremely poor professional nature. BEWARE if anyone were to use this company.

Amanda. We are so sorry your experience as the seller of your home and our company was so negative. First, let me begin and apologize for not contacting you directly. Our team contacted the buyer that same day and provided more information and we thought you guys were connected. Our lines were crossed. Also, In regards to the moisture readings. We provide pictures of ALL our findings, including the moisture readings that you're questioning. I reviewed the report and we have several pictures of the readings as well as specific notes on locations these readings were probed. The buyers also hired a separate home inspection company to inspect your home the same day we were on property. This company also found the high moisture readings and even went back a 2nd time and personally showed you the location of these readings to you personally.<br><br>Again, we hope we can be of service to you in some way in the future. We are not a mendacious company. We have no incentive to "ruin a deal", but we have a duty and protocol to follow and we will always call things that need to be called out for our buyers and realtors to protect them. Edited to add: I’ve tried hard to give this company the benefit of the doubt and work with them since they sounded willing to make it work. I’m very disappointed with our service experience. The two people there who were working hard to do better have left the company and I think that speaks volumes. Most recently, they booked an appointment without notice. I called to schedule my quarterly appointment and was rudely told I already had one and wanted to know why it didn’t work. The tech came to the appointment and didn’t treat over 3/4 of our property and left without a word. There were visible bugs and webs in the areas he did “treat”. I spent hours trying to get in touch with the company and they were upset with me for “letting” him leave and they wanted to hang up with me immediately to get him to come back. I requested they send another tech on a different day since I didn’t like the service this one provided and that I had already rearranged my day for this service. They told me we wouldn’t be billed, and they sent an invoice anyways. Two days later at the next appt, the same tech comes back and again only treats 1/4 of the property. He again leaves without word. They sent another invoice. The owner’s brother called us to “apologize” which was really him defending his tech. We tried to pay the invoice online and it wouldn’t let us. We had to call them repeatedly and leave messages for them to call us back to accept payment. We won’t be using them again. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone who cares about their home. It’s unfortunate Robbie isn’t there, because he was great. Original Post: We’ve used Pest Guard for about a year for quarterly pest treatment (management and prevention). We’ve had a rocky start with different techs not communicating well. Tyler, the owner, has always tried to correct any customer service problems. It’s obvious from conversations he’s a stand up guy and a great local business to support, so we’ve tried to work through the problems (mainly from a growing business). Rob was sent to our house for treatment today and provided great service! Hands down the best service we’ve experienced with pest treatment. He took the time to educate us on the expectations of the appointment, what was found, what was done, how to identify proper treatment, gave us a timeline of what should be expected for future care (the dead bugs we would see, possibly where, safety of pets, how long for things to dry, etc.), made requested changes to our account, and made sure we took any necessary precautions (even made sure we were aware of potential dead wasps to avoid our dogs getting hurt). I’m sure I’m forgetting more. He spent at least 45 minutes at our house completing the quarterly treatment and a good 10 minutes talking with us. He arrived within the agreed upon time window, was friendly, and provided great service. There are plenty of pest solutions out there, and I’m happy to stay with Pest Guard because of the excellent care provided by Rob.

Had to have French Drain after home inspection. The buyer's realtor set up this appointment. I became obligated to pay after the buyer's deal fell thru. I can't even begin to say how unprofessional this company has been. They are non-responsive in giving me a paid receipt. Never never use them.

Unfortunately we have had service through PestGuard provided by our landlords for the past year or so. I don’t remember a time that the service person has shown up when they said they were going to. It is a constant battle to reschedule, and we’ve only had to do so because they have not notified us when they are coming and then no one is home when they arrive. Weeks after a treatment we notice pests inside the house and call for a re-treatment and can’t get anyone on the phone. Beyond that, we had an urgent rodent issue about 8 months ago, and they would not send someone out to help when we called. We ended up having to spend nearly $300 with another company that quickly (within an hour) responded to our need and was at our house to help get rid of the animal. If you’re looking for simple, convenient, and seamless pest control, do NOT call PestGuard.
