I’m new to the Salem South Carolina area and needed help with an insect problem. I knew Orkin was a reliable company and was glad that I contacted them. With a phone call to Orkin I got a quick estimate for my immediate insect issue and was able to schedule a follow up inspection. Frank came out to give me a complete evaluation and a quote for other items I needed help with. The next day, Ian came to do my initial insect remediation service and did a very thorough job. My mother has had a termite contract with Orkin since 1970 (same house). She recently passed away. After they did the annual inspection in August 2024, they say they called her house for payment and when no one answered the phone they cancelled her contract. They admit they did not even send a letter. I have her mailed forwarded to my address so if they had I would have gotten it. Now I need to sell her house and they will not reinstate the contract or write a termite letter because she no longe

Truly one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had with a company providing professional services. We begged them for like two years to give us notice a day ahead of time when someone was coming, and that happened NEVER from their office, even though every time they said they would.
