EcoGuard Pest Management

Three months and hundreds of dollars later, our rodent problem is exactly the same as the day EcoGuard first walked through the door. I should have trusted the red flags. The price they quoted me on the phone had almost nothing to do with the contract the tech handed me at the house, and I was even charged incorrectly for the initial inspection. After that it only got worse. In over three months they never sealed a single entry point. Not one. Every visit came with a fresh excuse about missing equipment. They would finally send someone only after I called and complained, and even then the “service” consisted of checking the same four empty traps that had sat empty the entire time. Once a month. That was it. Customer service was more interested in being difficult than solving anything. Technicians never seemed available unless you escalated. We ended up buying and setting our own traps from Home Depot because waiting on EcoGuard was clearly a waste of time and money. If you’re dealing with rodents, keep calling other companies. The glowing reviews online do not match the experience we had.

It is unfortunately, very confusing where all of EcoGuard’s 5 star reviews are coming from. Red flags were there from the beginning, however, we were desperate to solve our rodent issues. Continue to call around! The pricing model explained to me on the phone was very different than the contract that the technician presented once coming out to our house. On top of this, I was then incorrectly charged for the initial inspection. The technicians also continue to come to the house very unprepared. From the four times someone has come out to our home there are excuses why EcoGuard cannot either trap, bait, or close rodent entry points. We have now spent hundreds on traps we could have set up and purchased from homedepot.

You said you were there on the 17th. Your office said you weren't. You said you reset a trap, you didn't. I requested at least 12 traps. There are still only 5. No, I am not happy with your service. The traps were in the same place for 3 weeks! No moles were trapped during that time!

Showed up as scheduled, explained what he was doing and answered all my questions. Next day we had a rat trapped..

Experienced a cockroach infestation. Micheal quickly put a stop to it. He came back 2-3 times to reapply the chemicals which are safe for pets and eco friendly. Great service!

So far EcoGuard has been very responsive to the pest issues we've had and we've been pretty pleased with the treatment they've provided to maintain control of these little unwanted critters. We haven't experienced anymore surprises walking around the interior of our home which is such a relief. Nothings worse then running into one those little guys and screaming OMG!!! It's a horrible feeling! But now we feel like we've regained control, peace, order and some cleanliness. Now I can really relax!!

Got EcoGuard for rats. They were really great at first. Eric (who was awesome) was personable, knowledgeable, above and beyond. After a while a new tech named Seth came onto my property. He only sprayed for pests but never touched the bait stations nor the traps. I pointed this out to him on his visit today, and he raised his hands and said "those aren't ours I can't legally touch them!" Accusing me of having my own bait stations when our former tech, Eric, actually placed them there. I said to Seth, yes it is. Why would I pay 75 dollars a month for you guys to deal with those only to have myself pay more money for more bait?! I told him he's obviously lazy, doesn't want to work, and I told Seth to leave the property. Now it gets more interesting. I called to voice my concern. Spoke to somebody (I think Nick?) after telling him what's going on, their line disconnected and he never called me back. I was already at level 10 and this was the last straw. I called back, again, and told them I no longer wanted their business. Good riddance!!!

Sophia was exceptional in her work. She was incredibly detail-oriented and helped me identify the actual source of the infestation. I truly enjoyed speaking with her as well—she was friendly, professional, and a pleasure to work with.

Crayson was the correct amount of personal and professional. I actually added an additional location due to his behavior as a technician. I would recommend because of him.

Jarrod baited the area in our shower room where ants congregate. He is thorough and very informative about ants, their habits, where they live and what can be done to eliminate them from the home. He explained all steps of the process. The first application didn’t quite accomplish the task. Jarrod came back after 10 days had passed and applied a different chemical to the entry point. It’s been 5 days and the ants are gone!
