Thank you Ryan for coming out to our home! Ryan was very personable and knowledgeable about our home and surrounding area! He was very fair and honest and saved us a WHOLE lot of money on services from another company we were told we needed and didn't! I highly recommend Ryan and his company!

They wanted almost $500 to remove one bat. They were informed that a 6 month old baby was in the home. Fortunately I found a company that fairly charged less than $200 because of the circumstances
Provider response
Yes, we charge for our services.<br>We are not a county/city provided service.<br>For us to call one of our team on a Saturday morning, put them in a truck to drive to your home, spend time in your home locating and catching a bat flying around your home, then dispatch the animal in an ethical manner at our warehouse, and then drop the bat off Monday morning at the county health department for testing all costs our company resources.<br>We think it is only fair that a business be able to charge for the resources a client uses. If the costs of our resources are too high for your budget, we understand, but we do not believe it garners a 1 star review for an independent locally owned family business.

We had a pesky squirrel in the attic followed by an unknown mouse that was eating all of the bait - without hesitation Jayce Hannah and Ryan were able to help as long as it took to capture all pests and make sure we were taken care of! They are a fantastic team and I am so happy we used their service!! Hopefully we don’t have any more pests but I’d use them again in a second! Thank you!!
Provider response
Thank you for trusting us, bearing with Ma’ Nature throwing a wrench in with the weather delays, and for being such great clients. The kind words made our day!
Adriana Ragazzo
They did a great job with squirrels in our attic. Transparent pricing, very informative. Jayce left video messages after every visit of we weren’t home to update us through the process
Provider response
Thank you for the positive feedback. So happy Jayce was able to help you out.
Chris Konitzer
These guys took care of a bunch of squirrels I had living in my attic. They were thorough and professional and came out more times than I can count. Jayce did a wonderful job communicating throughout the process and Hannah chipped in as well. Would definitely use them again for future issues.
Provider response
Thank you so much for the kind words. Glad our team could help.

I can’t say enough good things about Huntsman. Ryan came out and did an inspection for me. He was kind, honest, and upfront about everything. Since then I’ve had Hannah come out to do my services and she is just as kind and caring for my house & family was than Ryan. She provided me wonderful service, explained everything happening around my house clearly, and went above and beyond by working around my babies napping schedule without getting frustrated. I can’t recommend them enough. The service they provide will beat any large corporation any day.
Provider response
Thank you so much for the kind words and feedback on our team. It was an honor to be chosen to work on your home and help resolve your wildlife problem.
Elisabeth Gallagher
Ryan navigated our situation with such kindness, integrity and professionalism that we would absolutely hire him for any future needs. Absolutely recommend.
Provider response
Thank you for the kind words, glad everything worked out for your family.

Ryan and Hannah have been great. I have had multiple houses where I have had to do pest and wild life remediation. Ryan’s inspection was amazing. This is the only home I have received video footage of the inspection in addition to written report, which made understanding and trusting the assessment much easier. They quickly built trust and confidence. Ryan had Hannah onsite with in a few days to start remediation. She has been thorough, explains what she is seeing, remediation work, etc. pricing is great for the work and service. They have been able to remedy my situation. Will continue to use them in the future.
Provider response

Great service from Hannah and the team, particularly a constant follow-up and frequent visits to figure out our mice issue. Significant difference from our previous contractor experience
Provider response
So very happy you find our program stands out from what others offer. Thank you for your kind words and praise.
Alyssa Terrell
Huntsman responded outside of working hours to get us lined up for an estimate, and Ryan came on a Saturday to inspect the house. We than had Jayce as our technician for the duration of our work being done. One of the things I really liked about the service were the videos Jayce would make before he left our property, filling us in on what was discovered and what was done. He was kind, friendly, and thorough.
Provider response
Thank you so much for the kind words about your experience with Jayce! Glad we could help, even with all of the snow delays and weather frustrations. You guys were great clients and we are happy to have you in the Huntsman family now.

Start to finish -- thorough, good at answering questions in detail, helpful in keeping charges to the necessary, and cheerful in freezing weather! Caught the two attic squatter squirrels within 24 hours of setting up traps. Kept traps up a week to be sure no kinfolk showed up. Closed up holes professionally and permanently once equipment removed. Kept me informed every step of the way. Hannah and Jayce and Ryan are all the real deal - want to do their jobs to customer's satisfaction.
Provider response
Such praise! Thank you for the kind and uplifting words. Our team appreciates you entrusting your property to us.
Karen
The company was very easy to work with and they were very attentive to my problem. They communicated very well, kept me updated andJason was extremely professional and great to work with. I highly recommend this company if you have unwanted wildlife in your home.
Provider response
Thanks so much for your kind words! Our team is thrilled to hear you had a great experience with Jayce and us.
Teresa Phillips
The guy who came out was VERY rude. Asked a couple of questions I didn’t know the answers to. Asked why I was lying. Then said I can’t help you and left. It was supposed to be for raccoon removal.
Provider response
Teresa, I am sorry, but we do not have a record of us servicing your property. You may have our organization confused with another area service provider.

I normally don't leave negative reviews but after this experience I had to. Find someone else unless you want to get raked over the coals.... Not a friendly owner, poor communication, bait / switch, and poor customer service. We contacted Huntsman after the Department of Natural Resources recommended them for bird removal. We had three corbels in the front of our house that birds had made a nest in. We didn't want to do it ourselves because I don't own a 40 foot ladder and the corbels are at the peak of our house (about 30 feet up). The owner came out and saw the site, gave us a quote, and we bound (not a cheap quote either). About a week later the team and the owner came out, saw the site for a second time, but decided it was too windy to get up on a ladder (understandable). From there the communication and rescheduling was poor. We had to keep following up to find out when our house would be serviced. Keep in mind they charge you up front before work is completed. No deposit, just full charge. Our neighbors, who requested the same service and bound with them were never told about cancellations and appointments being moved. We had to tell our neighbors of what the new schedule was... very unprofessional. Finally, after the 3rd or 4th reschedule they came out. In about an hour and a half they completed the first two corbels. Then, they stopped work and told us the third corbel was too high and they needed a $350 upcharge to rent a lift. The original work was already expensive and we bound with them because we thought they were pros. If they weren't going to be able to complete the assigned work for the contracted price they should have told us up front. Now we are stuck with 2 out of 3 corbels finished and I'll need to get up on my roof to finish it myself (without matching materials). Rather than eat the cost themselves (which is what a professional would do who saw the site in person twice and provided a quote) he knew he could make more money out of us. A lift isn't $350 as we've looked at renting them ourselves (costs around $90). Alternatively, he could have left us some scrap materials to do it ourselves so everything would match. To get each corbel bird proofed only needed a small amount of metal mesh. They probably throw away more scrap in a day than is needed to do each piece. The owner sent us a link to similar (not the same) material which has to be bought in bulk for $150 + shipping + taxes. We live in a normal 2 story house so the height isn't something that requires a lift. Most of the houses in our neighborhood are a similar design. People are up on ladders in similar situations all throughout our neighborhood putting up Christmas lights. For being pros, they either don't have a good idea what they're doing or were trying to take us for a ride. Lastly, throughout the whole process the owner acted cold and rude and acted like we were a pain and a bother. If you can't complete the work don't sign up for it. We gave them the chance to make this right and they sent us a lengthy holier than thou email response about how we're poor customers. Don't worry about putting us on a black list! We'll never use you and will tell everyone we know not to use you! Would leave 0 stars if possible.

Chris, we will not apologize for making sure our teams operate safely on our client’s property. We will not waiver from the service agreements we commit to even if the client only spends 1 minute and 13 seconds between opening and signing the 3 page document. We will not submit to threats and bullying by an alleged “mom influencer.” We are not responsible for clients who refuse to use the client portal technology we provide to review service records, invoicing, and upcoming appointments.<br><br>Hundreds of area families across a half dozen platforms sing our organization’s praises regarding the quality of work, demeanor of our team, pricing, and communication. You and your wife are one of 8 families who have felt our service dictates a poor review.<br><br>What do you suppose that means?<br>
Dennis Checca
Called them they made an 8 am appointment I said that’s a bit early can you make it later in the day they cancelled my appointment scheduled me for a day I was not in town and when I said I was not going to be in town said they couldn’t help me because of my “ fluctuating schedule needs “ . Unprofessional
Provider response
Dennis, you failed to mention a large portion of our interaction where I stated that our scheduling did not allow for your requests and I referred you to another service provider that may be able to assist you. You then became upset and stated we were unprofessional and you will let others know how we do business. Because we referred you to another company???<br><br>You left a one star review not because our company or our services deserve one star, you left it because after you became belligerent, antagonistic, and condescending after I never responded to your email. I will be sure to forward our communications to your employer so they know who is representing them.
Robert Reis
Huntsman was very responsive when I left a message about my issue. They returned my call promptly and set up a date and time to come out to our property and take a look at our issue. They seem very knowledgeable about any possible wildlife issues. My advice is to be very specific when talking to them about what your wildlife issue is and where on your property it is located. It only took about three minutes of walking our property for Huntsman to let me know they were unable to do the work, as they are somewhat limited on the type and size of home they are able to work on. I could have saved myself some time if I would have given them more information in the initial phone call.
Provider response
Robert, I appreciate your feedback. We can not often tell the scope of a project strictly by available online photos and we are sorry we could not assist you due to our policies and limitations.
John Bear
Huntsman was courteous, professional, and showed up when they said they would. I just thought the cost was high for the service provided. They set up traps for several weeks and monitored them and set up a camera to see what kind of activity there was. No raccoons were trapped and their response was kind of. Oh well, they must’ve moved on. I asked what the next steps were and they indicated that if we wanted to exclude raccoons from the area under our deck, it will cost X thousands of dollars more. So we bought a trap, put it near where they were getting in under the fence and caught a raccoon the first night. Released him and he went back under the fence where he got in and hasn’t been back since. I also threw a dead Marigold blossoms where they were getting in because I understand their sense of smell is very acute and they don’t like marigolds. I don’t know if the raccoon we trapped communicated to the others or they didn’t like the smell of the marigolds or coincidence, But they haven’t returned.
Provider response
Thank you for your honest reviewJohn. We will take your feedback under consideration, review the service records and notes from the 13 days we were on property and make any necessary changes.
William Shelton
We were disappointed in the service we received from Huntsman’s Wildlife. We agreed to the price quoted with the understanding that they would be doing more than what they ended up doing. They were difficult to communicate with throughout the entire process. In the end we felt that everything they did were things we could have done on our own. The traps were without bait for 4 days before we finally called and asked why they weren’t checking the traps. We just felt they did not follow through with everything they sold us. Would not recommend in the future.
Provider response
William, thank you for your feedback. We will take that into consideration and make any changes we need to as we review the service records, notes, and photos of the work we completed. We are sorry you decided to not reach out to us and convey these concerns and frustrations to our leadership team and give us the opportunity to make things right. Hopefully you can get those tree branches trimmed back and stop relying on canned foam to solve your wildlife problems moving forward.
Jennifer Jackson
Overpriced, rude and does not follow thru. We spent over $10,000 for the “Guardian Plan” and Ryan would not install the bird be gone disks as promised during our final month. He actually hung up on me when I called him out on it. Do not recommend!!
Provider response
Jennifer, I understand your frustration, though I do not agree with your assertions in your review<br><br>As I stated on the phone with you, due to liability reasons, once you bring on another wildlife/pest service provider, we are no longer able to work on your property if they are going to use toxicants/poisons in their scope of work. This is detailed in both the Guardian Plan agreement you signed, and the wildlife exclusion plan you signed. <br><br>For 12 months we kept your property mouse, rat, squirrel, raccoon, bat, and bird free. Your program was due to end on the 30th of April. We reached out to you in March of 2025 to inquire if you would like to continue with the bird pucks on your property as I knew that was a priority for you all in our years of servicing your property. There was a communication error where you had assumed it was at no additional fee. When we explained it was not a covered part of the guardian program but at an additional fee you elected not to have the service performed.<br><br>When our technician came out to service your property on April16th for your final guardian service he informed us that a company named "Rich's Pest Control" had placed stations with an illegal application or rodenticides inside. I informed our technician to remove any and all of our equipment and cease servicing the property. <br><br>When you reached out to me on Monday I stated that due to your breach of the Guardian Plan Agreement and the Exclusion Agreement by bringing in an outside pest/wildlife provider to perform the same scope of work we were contracted for, we would no longer be willing to do any work on your property. You, understandably not happy with my responses changed your approach and said things unbecoming of a person in your position so yes, I did end the phone call without your consent, but not because I was the one being rude. It was because I do not let anyone talk to people in my company (including myself) with the level of disrespect and rudeness that your were exhibiting.<br><br>Our company invested over 130 hours of service on your property over multiple years. I am saddened that it has ended this way.
Pam Myers
If I could give a zero rating, I would. Ryan came to our house and told me what the cost would be to capture the squirrels that were being a nuisance. He told me to sign the contract he was going to send via email so they could get started. My husband got the email, but by then, we had stopped seeing the squirrels on the roof so decided to wait on having Ryan set traps. Six days went by when my husband received the rudest email from Ryan saying we were put on a "Do not service" list for any future wildlife needs!! And we were repeat customers!!! I have dealt with tons of contractors but have NEVER had any one of them refuse service after giving a quote just because we didn't sign a contract quickly enough!! Beyond RUDE!!!! I would not recommend him to anyone!!!!
Provider response
Thank you so much for your feedback Pam. Not every potential client is a good fit for our company. Not every client will CONTINUE to be a good fit for our company either.<br><br>We understand it is upsetting to hear when a company no longer desires you as a customer. <br><br>There is a lot more to the story than what you wrote.<br><br>You and I and Rusty know that when it comes down to it, Huntsman's emails and calls to your husband were being ignored by him after 5 straight days of reaching out looking for clarification and direction as to how you all wanted to move forward. It may have something to do with being upset that the price had increased since we were last out. Or possibly that I informed you the trap you all were using was not designed to capture squirrels and the trip pan was too heavy for the weight of a squirrel, or the fact that I had asked why the decision was made to go against our recommendations and not trim the branches back to prevent squirrel access to the roofline. There is no real way to know because Rusty never responded to our repeated calls or emails.<br><br>We have the ability to see a time stamp when our invoices and contract emails were being opened, viewed, and reviewed and we saw that there was plenty of those actions taken, but our voicemails and messages were not being responded to. <br><br>We had no other information to go off of than we had been ghosted by you all and were being ignored. I decided to inform Rusty via email the following: <br><br>"We are informing you that at this point your file has been closed and labeled as "Do Not Service" for any future needs. We only work for clients that respect our process and our time and you have shown respect for neither. If you have any future wildlife needs, please go to NWCOA.com and search for a provider there that may be better suited for your unique needs."<br><br>Now, I am not sure if "the rudest email" is how others would describe it, but everyone is entitled to their own thoughts and opinions. <br><br>I thank you for this review, it may help future customers and clients understand that we are a company that requires open and regular communication from those wishing for us to resolve the wildlife conflicts on their property, and if they are not willing to be "bothered" by a clarification or follow up email, then we are likely not going to be the best fit for them either.<br><br>I wish you the best in resolving your squirrel problems. Hopefully you can find a wildlife provider that better fits the unconventional standards for service, communication, and follow through that you and Rusty desire.

Charged my wife 100 dollars for an inspection he didn’t need to do. I told him and I knew we had skunks. He didn’t set traps. He didn’t catch thenhe put up a super small galvanized fence and it couldn’t have costed more than 10 bucks to make. Took my 100 dollar bill and told me that should cover it. Then sent me an invoice stating I ONLY PAID 85 keep in mind HE TOOK A 100 dollar bill and gave no change! And tried to charge 100 for an inspection he didn’t even do. But had my wife sign a paper knowing very well she didn’t t look over it she just wanted the hole fixed!
Provider response
Tyler, I am sorry you feel as though the value was not received for what you paid. It states on our website that the mandatory inspection is $85. That I what ALL of our clients pay for us to come out and inspect the property. You paid cash ($100) for the inspection and I told you I would credit the remaining amount for the exclusion work as our inspection found no current evidence of skunks under your home. I told you would make a temporary exclusion device to put over the inoperable crawlspace vent cover until I the one I would have to order (due to irregular size) came in. The invoice for that work was emailed to your wife with an $85 credit for the inspection fee already paid. I sent the invoice for the exclusion work and you chose to ignore it. I sent reminder emails and you ignored it. When I sent a collection letter you called me and were hostile and would not listen to me. You never paid the final invoice, so we never came to install the final vent cover. I would appreciate you adjusting your review.
