Very knowledgeable. The only tech in the last 30 years that told me the browned out grass was probably from a tree that used to be there. I took the tree down 25 years ago. Impressive!

Aeration program without reseeding seems to not be managed well for those who just choose aeration. Customer service is horrible on handling complaints ,call backs, and issues. Constant no shows and horrible scheduling new appointments. Paid for my pet fence to be marked and flagged this year and last with no completion of said program. Spoke with manager of the escalated department on Monday and was completely brushed off and was told he would call me back with my answer on crediting my account for fence fee, but day 4 no call back like previous calls.

I have had an absolutely terrible experience with this company. They don’t return phone calls- I canceled an appointment for extra service I did not sign up for. The next week while I was out of town they came to my home and performed service- and while doing so damaged my invisible fence. I have called them repeatedly for 6 weeks and have not been treated well at all. They said they would pay for damages and now will not return my calls. I strongly suggest staying away from contracting any services with this company.

Used to be great service and value when it was WeedPro. Since the rebrand, they’ve hiked their prices and overcharged and double charge. It used to be worth it when they had good products and a fair price but now it’s cheaper and easier to do it myself with the same bag of Scott’s brand they use. My yard used to be weed free and looked the best on the block. Now I’m fighting weeds and crabgrass myself. I was quoted one price for aeration last fall and this fall it’s nearly doubled without warning. Charged double for last application of weed control and winterizer which is just a fancy bag of nitrogen. Not a great value and I’ll go somewhere else next year.

Used them for lawn service and have had multiple problems with aeration and fertilizer. Customer service is slow to respond or non-responsive at all. Tore up my grass when aerating and burned the grass while fertilizing. Hope no one has any problems and needs any help because you’ll be on your own!

These guys messed up my lawn several weeks ago and it still looks like trash after being told it was temporary and “fixable”. Over fertilized in areas that killed my grass. No fertilizer in other areas so some areas are flush while others look like it’s dying. They came back to “fix” it 2 weeks ago and haven’t received a follow up call. They won’t offer a refund because they prefer to fix it and make it right. But it’s summer and the time we use our yard the most and it’s embarrassing. They also did this to several other lawns in our neighborhood. I’ve used them in the past and never had an issue, but I believe you learn a lot about a company when they mess up and how they make it right. You’re expected to make my lawn look better so how do you respond when you make it look worse? So far, not great. I’m about to put a sign out front letting everyone know who made my lawn look the way it does. Edit: I've been waiting to update this review once I had a vibe on how Lawn Squad was going to respond. It started out really well. They had a team of people come out last year and assess my yard. They came up with a plan for how they were going to fix it and executed it. I was really happy with the work they put in. They even waved the fees for this year's lawn service. Amazing. However, this year we are back to a less than ideal state. I've asked that they notify me before they come out so I can make sure we've picked up after our dogs and that they are not outside. This is hit or miss. Some visits I get a message and some I do not. The site manager only gives me a heads up once he's on the property, which is not helpful or what I asked for. I'm usually not home or in meetings so I am unable to have a conversation with him. It's almost as if he doesn't know he's coming to my property until he gets here. Anyway, my lawn developed a fungus and when I told the site manager that the lawn didn't look good, it took him 6 weeks to get back to me. This is after he message me asking how the lawn was doing! Why ask if you are going to do nothing about it? I waited until my next treatment to see if I would hear from him and I did not. Even the tech that treated my yard said nothing about the condition my yard was in or the fungus I had developed. He also over treated in some areas and killed my grass. Not ideal. So, I called the main office and reported the fungus. They did send someone out right away to take care of it, which was much appreciated. This I am paying for, 100% expected. I've decided to finish the year out, but will be looking elsewhere next season. Too many excuses and not enough accountability. Sucks because I have been doing business with them for a many years and have no issue spending money to make my lawn look good.

If I could give less than zero I would. We have had our yard serviced every year same month. Each year the company decreases in quality. Communication is extremely poor. We use to have our yard serviced by turf specialist of Avon he retired and he sold his accts to this company bad move now we are left with low class low grade individuals that have no respect for residents that want quality, integrity and knowledge in the field especially communication when you say aa appt date BE There on time and do the job. How hard is this in 2025. Ethics goes along way. Had a April 22 aeration appt never showed for the job no call, I called 315pm into office female says oh he could be as late as 6p. We'll heck communicate! Noone did no Show. Never came. You've lost our business... And I will tell everyone not to utilize your service. Report to BBB. Last yr made divits and holds in my back yard that caused issues later in summer, we still are fixing.

They definitely would be getting 0 stars but however I am not able to. I just want people to know the lack of compassion this place has for their customers! One of their customers had cardiac arrest and is on life support and all they care about is money. Pathetic! Do better! No need to contact. My brother in law passed away and you received your money.

Several months ago I left a 5 star review because things were good and apparently too early to tell the impact of this year's treatments. However, service has declined rapidly. I don't know if this is because of the company changing from Weed Pro to Lawnsquad, or just bad service from our specific lawn tech (we've had the same tech the last 3 times and possibly since the start of the year). One time, we had a grad party scheduled and I called and asked them to put a note in to delay treatment to the following week, well of course the guy came the day before the grad party, but he did reschedule treatment for the following week since I was home and flagged him down. I've called and even messaged through the customer portal online, for spot treatments several times and it's been weeks and no one has been out to address all of the weeds. I also don't like how I sometimes receive notifications after a treatment asking for a tip. I'm NOT tipping, and asking for a tip is absurd. Stop that practice please. I don't feel like I should have to continue calling and asking for spot treatments. I messaged online...check your messages Lawnsquad...and I spoke with someone (Dan) over the phone after he tried to sell me on aeration. Still no spot treatment. I won't be a returning customer next year.

I have complained multiple times to Customer Service and to the man servicing the yard about the weeds growing in the backyard along retaining wall. They sprayed them once but they missed most of them. Also, if there is a delay in service due to rain good luck getting back on their schedule. Today they came and never took care of the weeds and only rode around on their machine. They didn't leave a flag in the yard nor did they leave the invoice of ask if we had concerns. I will find a new company that values their work

If you do still notice weeds after service is done, and that is possible with some of the more stubborn weeds, we will come out and retreat those for you free of charge, you would just need to contact the office so they can set that up for you.
