Torco Termite & Pest Control

I have used Torco Termite & Pest Control for a few years & the company is terrific. Their prices are fair & Logan, the tech is great!

I am the owner of a rental property and Torco helped solve a troublesome pest issue by promptly disposing of the issue and educating the tenant on how the pests were getting in. I would highly recommend this company.

I called Torco with two concerns. First, I was seeing little dust piles in an upstairs bedroom near a window that doesn’t shut completely. I told Torco I wasn’t sure if bugs might be coming through the window, or if they were living in the wall. Second, there had been one or two yellow jackets in our downstairs bathroom for the previous week. The person I spoke with seemed very knowledgeable, and explained the solutions for both of these issues. He said they would bait inside and outside for carpenter ants, and spray the bathroom ceiling vent for bees since they were likely coming in that way. I agreed to these solutions and to his price. I scheduled a time for a technician to come out to the house a couple of days later. My husband met the technician at our house. He sprayed the interior of the upstairs bedroom for carpenter ants. He also put powder in the AC vents in the upstairs bedroom and downstairs bathroom. He DID NOT bait outside, or address the bathroom vent as I had expected him to based on my phone conversation. Several days later I called Torco back and let them know what work had been completed, and that there were still yellow jackets in the house every day. The person on the phone stated he would send someone out to the house to spray outside for yellow jackets. He stated he would send someone out that afternoon, and there was no need for anyone to be home. That was four days ago. Yesterday there were about a dozen yellow jackets in my home, and more coming in quickly through the bathroom vent. I tried to call Torco several times at different numbers I had used previously or that were listed online to address this with them - but no one answered the phone and their voicemail was full, so I couldn’t even leave a message. Their “invoices,” which they send via text only say “your job has been completed.” They don’t outline what they did, or what to expect moving forward. I appreciate that they came out a second time without charging, but it doesn’t look like any of my pest issues have been addressed with two trips and $320. I would have loved to give Torco an opportunity to make this right, but couldn’t reach them last night when yellow jackets swarmed my house. Instead I spent $30 at Menards and most of my evening trying to DIY the situation.
