Sam is amazing! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and trustworthy. I travel a lot for work and he was able to work around my schedule + find what was causing my issues. Yay Sam!
Carter (The Groundhog King) at Buckeye Wildlife Solutions has been great to work with - very professional and responsive! Thanks Carter!
Carter did a fantastic job getting my house sealed up where small animals could get in. He also placed bait stations which should help. I highly recommend Carter and Buckeye Wildlife Silutions! Update on 3/26/2026: Carter came out and did another thorough inspection to see if there were any additional areas to close up on the roof and around the outside of the house checking the vents once again and found no additional problem areas. He was incredibly kind and thorough. He even tapped some of my siding back in that I had not noticed had popped out due to the severe wind we’ve had lately. I highly recommend Carter and this company.
Adam came promptly, looked at all possible openings to my attic/crawl space, and determined which entry points for animals needed to be closed up. He then patched up all possible openings right then and there. He was prompt, friendly, and did a great job!
Very responsive and humane to the animals. Would recommend and use their services again.
It is rare this day and age to find a company that is honest, has integrity and takes care in their work. I had the privilege to work with Adam and Cam for my mouse exclusion service. They are very thorough and do excellent work. I would recommend them to anyone who needs to get rid of their pests. If you need to get rid of mice or any other pest, give these guys a call, they are awesome!
We had an issue with birds nesting in the side of our house. We were able to easily get in touch with Buckeye Wildlife and they sent Carter out a couple days later. Carter was great, he communicated well and went over all of our options thoroughly and helped us determine which one worked the best for us. Our solution was a multi visit process, and he stayed in touch to keep us in the loop on progress. Will be using Buckeye Wildlife for any future needs.
Great company with quality service. Camden was terrific in a sudden situation
Thank you to Sam for his speedy and efficient work. It was a pleasure working with him will be using the service in the future.
Wow, what service! I called to have a dead animal removed from my yard and Adam was there within an hour. He was polite & respectful. I will use this company again.
Carter was great to work with start to finish. We had a really bad bat guano issue in our attic. He and his team worked to get it cleaned out and the insulation completely replaced. He was communicative and professional throughout the process.
Sometime in mid January we realize that there was some noise coming from our attic. We attempted to trap it ourselves and follow what others had suggested, but we’re not successful. By end of January, I realized how it got in and that I needed help fast. A friend from our area suggested Buckeye wildlife and Cam was quick to get us on the books. He was very knowledgeable; explained exactly what he was going to do to, provided an assessment for the repairs to our house and how to even fix it so that future unwanteds would not be able to get in. After the squirrel was caught, Cam kept me in the loop until he and Adam were able to come install and fix the hole. They were polite, informative, and executed at all very efficiently. I would definitely recommend this company and use them again.
We live in Pickerington and had a raccoon get into our attic. Camden from Buckeye wildlife drove all the way from Mansfield to help check everything out. Thankfully the raccoon had left the house. We identified the entry point and Camden gave good tips on how to prevent this in the future!
What could have added to an already stressful week didn’t, thanks to Adam at Buckeye Wildlife. He responded quickly, was professional, and handled the squirrel in our attic efficiently while explaining the process clearly. Great service and a smooth experience—I highly recommend Buckeye Wildlife!
Carter buckeye wildlife 👍👍
Recommending Adam at Buckeye Wildlife! My parents had an issue with a raccoon in their attic space this past week which we never had to deal with before. I called very early in the morning and the office staff texted and returned my call pretty quickly. They were able to send Adam out and he was there with in a couple hours if that to check things out and explained the process to me with facts and what to expect. He set traps/cameras and had prompt response through out the process or reached out early in the am to check in and when he said he was in route to reset things he showed up promptly. He cleared out the situation and fixed the damage on the roof even when the Weather wasnt ideal. It was a very annoying situation for my parents but I am very appreciative of Adam’s work. Thank you!!
Called Buckeye Wildlife to get an unidentified animal out of our attic. They were able to send someone out immediately, and we couldn’t be happier with Adam who was able to evict a raccoon and repair the soffit where the raccoon made its way in. Adam was very knowledgeable, informative, and we would definitely recommend him and Buckeye Wildlife to anyone in a similar situation!
Adam came out and removed five squirrels from my roof! He was very professional and friendly and flexible and he made a really difficult problem go away for me. I highly recommend!
Carter did great. Had nice communication, effective trap placement & truly enjoys what he does.
A really amazing and helpful experience with Buckeye Wildlife! I had two skunks living under my porch causing some major smelling problems and Adam was so helpful. He was there in no time setting traps and then was super responsive each day to check on the traps. We got both skunks in less than two days! He was incredibly helpful in answering all my questions too. Ask for Adam he’s the man!
Really disappointed to have the write this review, however, I hired Buckeye Wildlife Solutions to resolve a mouse issue in my home and paid nearly $2,000 for their services. Unfortunately, the problem is still not resolved after almost six weeks. After being assured by their technician (Jared, who is mysteriously no longer with the company) that issues were resolved, they are still not resolved after their first visit which was on January 8th. It is now February 10th. This is extremely concerning given the cost and the assurances that this would be handled. What has been most frustrating is the lack of follow-through. The original technician who came out is no longer with the company as mentioned earlier, and we have now been waiting almost a week for someone else to return to resolve the issue. Meanwhile, we are still actively dealing with mice in the house. At this price point, I expected: -A fully resolved issue -Faster response times for follow-up -A smoother transition if staffing changes occurred Instead, I feel like I paid a premium price for an incomplete solution and poor continuity of service. I do not feel like a valued customer. There has been no urgency from Buckeye Wildlife Solutions to resolve this matter and in fact, they feel dismissive when we've tried to get answers. I’m sharing this so others understand that, in our experience, the problem was not resolved despite significant cost. I am happy to update this review if the company takes urgent action and makes this right.

Cynthia, we’re sorry to hear you feel dissatisfied and appreciate the opportunity to clarify the situation.

The exclusion and sealing work performed during the initial service was completed as outlined, and after the original technician unexpectedly left the company, our manager followed up with multiple return visits to reassess the property, inspect for activity, and provide additional bait stations at no charge in order to support continued control of the mouse activity. Our goal throughout has been to ensure the home is properly protected and to respond in good faith to any ongoing concerns.

Rodent control is a process that can require monitoring and follow-up, as activity may persist for a period of time even after entry points are sealed. Nevertheless, we made continued efforts to assist, including additional site visits and materials beyond the original scope of service.

We understand the charges were disputed through your bank and have been resolved through that process. Nevertheless, we continued to invest significant additional time, site visits, and resources at the property in good faith, ensuring ongoing service and support despite the dispute, and have remained available to communicate and work toward resolution.

We take pride in our work and in standing behind our services, and we encourage you to contact our office directly if you would like to discuss the situation further.
On Tuesday evening I was informed by a neighbor that there was a dead animal in my backyard. I discovered it was a dead skunk. I found Buckeye Wildlife Solutions through an online search and verified they had a high rating with the BBB. I called and their on-call tech Carter answered and scheduled a time to come out on Wednesday late morning to remove the dead skunk. He called and texted me (I missed the call due to a work meeting) after the job was complete. Very nice to work with and reliable. The only reason I am not giving it five stars is the price. He quoted $279, the final payment was $308 after tax and credit card surcharge. He did not mention the surcharge on the phone. May have been a simple mistake on his part; something to consider informing the customer of the surcharge ahead of time.
This company sucks! Their website lies and says they trap animals humanely and that's a lie! They will set a trap designed to break the necks of the animals you want removed! I have photo proof of that! It's not humane at all and they don't trap them and remove them they kill them! They just killed a groundhog with a trap that broke its neck! Terrible service and poorly handled! Would not recommend to anyone ever!

I’m sorry Kelly but you aren’t even a client of ours. We are based out of the Columbus and Delaware area.
Wanted to charge me 15,000$ to remove bats from my attic and didn’t even have any pictures to prove there were any bats up there
Unfortunately, I don’t think their employees have enough training in services that Buckeye wildlife solutions offers. I called Buckeye Wildlife because a bat got into the living area of our house. The inspector was polite and kind and arrived promptly to take a look. However, they said there was evidence of 1-5 bats in my attic including bat droppings and a roosting bat. They sent me a picture and quoted me almost $4000 to seal the holes in my roof/vents and remediate the attic and chimney. My husband and I went into the attic later and looked - the “bat” was a dust bunny behind a screen. Our attic is unfinished and dark, so I understand how the mistake happened. However it didn’t give me confidence in the company. We had two other companies out who both said that there was 0 evidence of bats in our attic - the “droppings” that Buckeye wildlife saw was just tar from our roof that had worn out over the years. Additionally, the last company was able to actually capture the bat that had gotten into our living space, show us how it got in the house, and help us fix the issue. Buckeye wildlife was 3x more expensive than both of the other companies. My biggest issue with Buckeye Wildlife was how they reacted when I called the company and reported the error. I spoke to two folks- and although they agreed to come out and reinspect (4 days later) they both insisted that the first employee was correct and that there was no point to reinspecting because the quote would be correct. 2 stars because the technician who came out was kind and timely - just not capable of identifying a bat.
Didn't return my call.

Hi Ben, we are sorry that you did not receive a call back from us. While we strive to provide excellent customer service and to answer and return every call we receive, there is unfortunately the possibility that one may slip through the cracks on occasion. I have checked through our voicemails and emails and am unable to find a missed message or call from you. If you’d like to call again, we would be happy to help you out. Thank you!
I have tried several times leaving several messages to get a hold of this company with no responses. Sounds like they do good work but man good luck catching Ashley when she isn't "on the other line with customers" during work hours, then don't hold your breath waiting for her to call back!
Response from Buckeye Wildlife Solutions
Hi Nick,
I have one voicemail from you this morning as of 10:33 a.m. I see this review posted at 11:07 a.m. I just tried to call you back at 1:15 p.m. I apologize, I had to take the morning off to take my child to an appointment. Therefore I was not as prompt at returning calls as I normally am. I am returning calls as of now. We are a small, locally owned business and while I do ensure I call back every voicemail, sometimes it can take a bit of time. Thank you for your concerns, and please feel free to call back if you have any questions. Or you can email as well. Thank you!
Called them 3 weeks ago and left a message to have someone come pick up a raccoon from a trap and still haven't heard back from them
Response from Buckeye Wildlife Solutions
Hi Sheri,
I apologize that you were unable to reach someone, and that your voicemail was not returned. We try and return all voicemails in a timely manner. What number did you call? Was it after hours or on the weekend? Unfortunately, since you are notifying us about an incident three weeks ago there is not much that can be done now. But, if you ever have trouble reaching the office for whatever reason, we are available via message on Google, as well as via email and text.
Thank you for voicing your concerns.
Also, when trapping wildlife on your own, we do recommend trying to line up a company beforehand, so that the animal is not in a cage for long amounts of time. If you call after-hours, on the weekend, or are not in our service area, we cannot ensure that the animal can be picked up by one of our technicians since we did not do the trapping. If you are trapping on your own, it is best to call a company beforehand that way they are aware of the situation and they can check to make sure they service the area you live in. It also ensure the animal is in the cage as little time as possible.
Buckeye Wildlife happened to be at my neighbors replacing vent covers due to birds nesting, I had the same issue and was waiting for the birds to leave the nest to replace the covers. He said he could check and replace the covers on my house while here. He said the birds had already left the nest and put new covers on. $331 to replace 2 plastic vent covers, $199 for visit and $59 for each vent cover. I later learned my other neighbor used a contractor that charged $25 per vent to the install the same covers. To add insult to injury, the momma bird is sitting on the new cover scretching because there are babies still inside the vent sitting in the new cover! Update: Buckeye Wildlife did return the following day and removed the bird that was inside the vent.
