Hoffman Lawn Care conducted weed control and fertilization on March 19. They alerted me of the day for application. They are professional and responsive. Quentin was very thorough and made sure to fix any ruts or imperfections due to the dampness of the soil. I appreciate this. Other techs and lawn services have not been as thorough and conscientious.

Always do a great job and clean up.

New customer so results not in, but I was impressed with the thoroughness of the first application. Mac was very careful & took his time to properly put down the fertilizer & weed control, and cleaned up by blowing any debris off cement and patio.

Hoffman’s does all our lawn care services now and they are doing a great job! Very communicative with customers from the quote process to the service scheduling and payment now that we are customers. Weekly lawnmowing, weed treatments, aeration, overseeding, fertilization, and pest control is the services we’ve had so far.

We contracted with Hoffman Lawn Services due to our lawn being damaged during the summer drought of 2024. We had numerous dead patches in our front lawn. Someone came out to look at the lawn and provided us their recommendation to get the lawn back in shape. Our program was to include a full season of fertilization, weed control, soil enchantments aeration and a repair over-seeding in the fall. It's now been a month since the over-seeding and our front yard is full of 6"+ diameter weeds and none of the dead patches have shown new grass growth. The over-seeding was completely ineffective because there was a lot of dead thatch on the ground and the seeds just sat on it and didn't germinate. I had to literally go in and spend hours clearing the weeds and the thatch and put down my own seed to get new grass growth. We spent over $800 on their services to have a lawn that looked worse than when we started. I emailed them to provide this feedback, in a respectful manner, and received no response. After several days I emailed again to confirm they received my email and to confirm we were cancelling further services. They confirmed the cancellation but expressed no concern for our unsatisfactory results. Their website says 100% costumer satisfaction which they apparently don't take seriously. I wouldn't want my money back because they did provide services but I would like a healthy lawn or at least one that doesn't have weeds and dead spots in it. If you want to be placed on a generic treatment plan for lawn care these guys are perfect for that but if you have more advanced lawn care needs I'd look elsewhere.

Since hiring them to cut my lawn on a regular schedule, my HOA has fined me twice for tall grass. You call and only get automated services telling you all agents are busy. Overall they fail to meet any needs or service of a basic lawn service

I have used Hoffman's Lawn service the past two years and my grass yard health has progressively gotten worse due to the fact that they mow my yard at very low level putting the yard under stress. This has resulted in a weakened root system, disease to set in and ultimately large bare and dead patches. They also caused significant tire mark damage to my yard that they did not address all summer. I have stopped using them.

For review they pay 20$ ,never gave as i was waiting for lawn to improve,,used for over an year and said yes to every service they asked for ,rather then fixing problem they will blame for everything else around,disconnected and won't recommed.

Extremely Disappointed – No Respect for Our Family’s Needs My son made it clear in writing that mowing at 8:00 AM was causing problems for his wife, who is dealing with a chronic illness. Despite that, Hoffmann Lawn Care continues to show up early in complete disregard of a simple, humane request. As a father, I find this behavior unacceptable. Any business that ignores medical concerns and shows this level of indifference toward its customers does not deserve your trust. I urge others to think twice before hiring them.

Unacceptable Disregard for Health and Requests Despite personally delivering a letter explaining that early mowing at 8:00 AM is severely affecting my wife’s health (she battles a serious medical condition), Hoffmann Lawn Care continues to arrive early without consideration or adjustment. This isn’t just inconvenient — it’s cruel. We made a respectful, reasonable request: please mow later in the day. That’s it. But it’s been ignored. I expected more professionalism and compassion from a local business. If you care about your peace, your family, or working with a company that listens — look elsewhere.

Elon Management hired you to do a job, and the job is the clear our parking lots and walkways. And you have failed miserably. If EMS needed to get to one of our apartments, they could not do it. You should be ashamed. I guess since we're "poor people" we don't need our walkways cleared and driveways plowed.

Horrible teams to cut and weed eat this year. Plus they had a tractor fall off there truck and damaged neighbors car. Advertising professional lawn care but better off having a bling man cut your lawn

I used Hoffmans last Summer and was mostly disappointed because it never looked like they cut the grass and definitely did not look like they weed eated around my flower beds. The worst is I caught my fence being unlocked a couple times where my dogs could have gotten out. Well after cutting my grass this year twice, it doesn't even look like they barely touched it and they also left my fence unlocked and my dogs did get out this time. Thankfully with my neighbors help we got the 3 dogs back. Just not willing to give them another chance when they are obviously too careless about my yard and my family/dogs.

We had use Hoffmans for our lawn care, landscaping, and aeration. We had them scheduled to complete our final aeration, which they complete after a week of constant rain on a day that it was actually raining. They destroyed not only my yard but my neighbors yard to the point I had to call my neighbors and apologize for the damage caused to their yards. I tried to explain to the owner that I would pay for the overseeding, but not the aeration due to the damage caused. The owner was unprofessional, combative. We let him know we will never use Hoffmans Lawn Care or recommend them to our friends. We still have damage present to our yard and hope that our lawn recovers by the spring. I discourage you from using this service. I have also reported them to the BBB.

Working with Hoffman Lawn and Landscape has been extremely frustrating at quite simply disappointing. The company absolutely refuses to return phone calls or speak with you in person. I filled out a form on their website because it was convenient at the time. I didn't realize it’s the only way to communicate with them. I accepted their quote, again online. Several days passed with no response. I called and left a message and the next day my lawn was aerated and seeded. My young Japanese maple was also broken in half due to the negligence of the person operating the aerator. There was no note, no phone call, no email, nothing. I understand mistakes happen, but the lack of communication, explanation, or even a simple apology is completely unprofessional. Nearly two weeks later after more unreturned messages, I received an invoice attached to canned email quoting me for two aerations and two seed applications, double the initial quoted amount. The itemized list of “services” rendered claimed Hoffman came to my home on three separate occasions to do work, once on October 20th to seed, again on October 21st to aerate and seed, and again on the 27th to aerate. So I called Hoffman once more and left a message explaining the issue and telling them I wanted to speak to someone about my broken Japanese maple. The next morning I received yet another canned email with a corrected invoice, but no acknowledgement that they had killed my tree. Hoffman Lawn and Landscape is without question, the worst company I've ever worked with.
