Like most people the got service from catch a critter, I called and had him come out to get squirrels out of attic. He successfully removed one but there are still more up there and I have yet to hear anything back. I was also double charged and never received a refund for one of the he extra payments.

They give you a wide time frame on when they will be at your house, however they never showed the days they were supposed to. Then when the guy did actually show up, at their convenience, the guy had a half alive racoon in the back of his truck with a steel neck breaker around its broken neck while the babies where still alive next to it.

I paid them $319 dollars for them to initially come out and set the trap in order to remove raccoons from my attic in my home almost 3 months ago. Not only are the raccoons still in my home destroying my attic but I have not heard from the company from the day that they first came out to set the trap. They do not and have not responded to my calls or voice mails and the food bait has now began to mold as it has never been changed...... Please , I'm warning you to beware of using this company for pest or any kind of removal of wild life.

Hired catch a critter to remove a raccoon that was getting in tenant's chimney. They came out a couple days later and set a trap. I got a call from the city 3 days later that there had been a possum (wrong animal) in the trap for 48 hours and it was starving and injuring itself. They charged me $350 to set the trap. Now, the raccoon is still getting in the chimney and I can't get anyone to call me back. They say they're available 24/7 but no one ever answers the phone. Strongly discourage hiring this company.

Daniel caught the bird in our house in less than 5 minutes. He was also very considerate of our son sleeping and was careful to be quiet while he was here. Highly recommend Catch a Critter!

I moved to Cleveland Heights 4 years ago from Nevada. No critters. Now you name it, they're here. I used CAC in 2022 for a groundhog. Then again in 2024 when I had my porch rebuilt to refit the groundhog barrier. Most recently raccoons set up camp on my roof. Daniel is Wonderful! He is knowledgeable, efficient, reasonably priced, very professional and just a really nice man. Racoon was caught in 1 day. Daniel was here to remove it 20 minutes after I called him. That's impressive! We have to live amongst all the critters. But when they invade and destroy your home its upsetting and unsettling. I can call CAC, talk to Daniel and get a good nights sleep.

This “humane” pest removal service uses giant traps that snap the neck of the animal. As a result there is a dead baby raccoon hanging from my neighbor’s front door as a write this. It is 90 degrees and you can smell it from my front yard. Look at the other reviews and you’ll see that this is how they work. Truly horrific and they will just kill the animal. So if you are looking for a humane catch and release type service this is NOT it.

I called due to an ant problem on all 3 floors of the house and mice in the attic. Daniel got me scheduled 1 week sooner than the other pest company I called. He and Lamar came out and treated interior/exterior for ants and set bait in the attic to drive the mice out. The ant results were immediate and I hear less activity in the attic. Daniel came back out a week later to check the attic and rebaited at no additional cost. I had a great experience with Catch a Critter and Daniel is a great guy to work with. I will only be calling him in the future.

Daniel was extremely helpful when it came to catching a raccoon that was tearing up my backyard and rolling up my new sod. He was able to come on short notice (same day that I called) and was very helpful in adjusting the trap to make sure we got the raccoon. Would definitely recommend "Catch A Critter" to anyone in need of Wildlife Removal services. 5-Stars!

Daniel came when he said he would. He removed the carcass from the trap promptly. Phone calls were returned in good time and I found this company a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend Catch A Critter.

I wouldn't call them if they were the last trappers/exterminators on earth. They (Daniel) set up a trap for a racoon and never came back to check on the trap like they said. Secondly after the racoon was trapped and I noticed, I called numerous times for 2 days after 2 days, they replied and said at 2pm they would come get it. Its now 6pm nothing. I keep calling (supposedly they're a 24 hour service) No answer, no tech has shown up to get this racoon. For 300 dollars they've done 30 dollars worth of work. They show up to do the BARE MINIUM. I was told when the trap was set tech would come out every 2 to 3 days and check the trap. Never not once did they show up to follow up until I called and asked if they were coming back. After someone did show up they rebaited and left. Then said again they'd show up in a couple days to check. Then they still didn't bother to follow up after rebaiting this trap. As of right now, This racoon has been in a trap on my roof for 46 hours. Basically if you want to be charged 300 dollars for someone to set a trap and then lie to you repeatedly then this is the company to call. To call them lazy would be disrespectful to lazy people around the world. At this point I'd call them negligent and highly incompetent.

If I could give negative stars. I would! Please note, I hired them a few years back but my experience was so horrible, I felt it worth sharing. Whatever you do, !DO NOT! call Catch a Critter. I had a mom racoon and 6 babies living in my roof. The removal was absolutely horrific. Due to the nature of how the mom was getting in and out, they had to set up a trap that snapped her neck the second she came out. Had I known this, I never would have hired them. They claim they're humane, yet they left this poor thing hanging from the side of my house for 2 days after I called them repeatedly. Then, they didnt get all the babies and I had to listen to them cry for 2 days for their mom. It was heartwrenching. I couldn't get Catch a Critter to call me back after repeated messages. Finally they came out and got the rest, so they said but no, there was still two. One managed to get through the opening but the trap got him and I had to listen to the poor thing screaming at 2am until it died from being ripped open down it side from the trap. Found its little body hanging from the trap the next day. The last one got past the trap but something got it in the middle of the night. I had the heartbreaking job of having to find what was left of it in the morning. I got no apology from Catch a Critter and they charged me $800. It was horrible.

I can highly recommend Catch A Critter. I called due to hearing animals in the attic and I was able to get an appointment the next morning. Daniel arrived on time, he was very pleasant and did a thorough job of securing the birds - they were so noisy!! - and covering up the vents on the side of the house. He is very calm which was great because I had been so nervous about the situation!

Give this company a call! Catch A Critter is priced fairly and they are quick to respond when you inquire on their services. I've used them twice in the 5 years I've been in my home and I will not be using anyone else due to how friendly and professional Daniel and his technicians are. Suddenly needing pest control can be embarrassing and scary, but life happens, and this company is quick to help you with your pest problem(s). Daniel is the business owner and he's responded to any question I've asked him with knowledge and kindness that I don't believe I'd find anywhere else. He is patient and will explain the issue(s) and price structure for services rendered/suggested so that you can make informed decisions and also know what is going on with your home. Whether you are renting or own, I highly recommend Catch A Critter!

We had something in our walls. Thought it was a mouse, which happens occasionally in an old house. Started looking for a service after the noise didn't abate and the cat wasn't catching anything. Daniel answered right away and came out a couple of hours later. Did an interior inspection since the noise seemed to be in one spot. Of course the critter made no noise. Outside it was. He checked the area where we were hearing the sounds and couldn't find anything. Then he started on the roof our front. Found a raccoon hole by the gutter right away. Set the trap and we had our raccoon within ten hours. Daniel came out the next day to retrieve the raccoon and the trap and scheduled a time to come back to raccoon/critter proof the hole. I definitely recommend Catch A Critter and Daniel. Very responsive and incredibly knowledgeable. While I hope we never have any critters in the house again, I would not hesitate to call Daniel if we do! Definitely five out of five stars.

Very satisfied with the overall service experience! Came out right away to pinpoint problem areas and appropriate remedies with the mice that came into our house. Daniel and Denise are very courteous and a pleasure to do business with. Cost also very reasonable.

They have 24 hour services and when you have a dead rat you can't find.. that's amazing. They are very quick to respond and not afraid to get dirty. Definitely recommend their services. Other companies just put out bait and say you should do this...or do that. These guys actually do the work.

I had squirrels get into my basement and they came out to inspect fairly quickly, which I appreciated. The technician did not communicate when he will arrive well and changed dates/times with no rationale. I've paid for the service, but have zero idea when they will come back to check the trap. I suppose I'll just keep the traps they set and use another company. I feel like I got ripped off. Would not recommend using this company

When I initially called Catch-a-Critter for a rodent inspection and to subsequently hire the group, all calls were answered and messages were returned promptly the same day!! However, when I needed to cancel a portion of the job order, everything with them changed. The owner flat out refused to answer his phone. Various females, whom I had not spoken to during the inspection and hiring process, began returning his calls. One of the females wanted my credit card information so that a refund could be issued - to which I refused. Neither female gave a name or title nor had a refund amount been discussed or confirmed. Only after I asked did they say they were the "office manager" and the "office staff". They wanted my credit card number so they could "pass it on" to the owner (the one refusing to answer my calls). I was extremely uncomfortable sharing such sensitive information in such a lackadaisical fashion. A partial refund was issued without my card and without a discussed or confirmed amount. My prior messages offered to honor the portion of the work that was actually performed (regardless of whether or not it was needed). In turn, I requested a refund of the portion of the deposit for the work that was not performed. The technician who sold me their services was originally only going to remediate and thus had given me a quote for that particular service. The add-ons were discussed later, this is how I knew the cost of the work performed. I requested a refund of the deposit, less the exact amount of the original quote plus tax for the actual work that was done. I even rounded the final tally up. NO ONE ever discussed a refund amount, although I repeatedly tried to get the owner on the phone. Suffice it to say, I was subsequently refunded an amount (without conversation) that caused the service cost to exceed the original quote of the work order. I have called and called for an itemization and to speak with the owner, but to date have been completely ignored. Even the females who were speaking on his behalf and who said they were the "office manager" and "office staff" have not responded. I am appalled that I cannot receive a professional call back or a refund of the remaining $36 I was overcharged. It is hard to believe they are this strapped. For me, it is the principal. Do not keep what you have not earned. I was willing to pay for the shoddy service I received without complaint. I was also willing to ignore the egregiousness of the over-the-top four figure original estimate: 1) The "technician" who was to perform my work was not a licensed mason or anything else, and 2) I learned I DID NOT have any problem whatsoever with pests, rodents, or critters. I do have stinkbugs, but nothing else. The "service" performed consisted of three cubes of bait/killer thrown into the crawl space and two rodent bait stations placed in the front and in the back of my home. Both are empty and the bait is still untouched. I was charged several hundred dollars. I just wanted a simple and fair refund. I learned I had no rodent issue because I had my original LICENSED handyman stop by for a second opinion. He was furious that someone would take advantage like this and advised me to cancel any further work. He was angry because when I moved into my home less than 10 years ago there were five mice that he personally remediated. During Catch-a-Critter's "inspection", they apparently saw the old droppings in the crawl space and deduced that I had at least 10-15 mice that have been living in my walls for over a year and were still present. No other droppings/evidence existed. The tech claimed to find a dead mouse that I never saw. What I thought were mice sounds, was a leaky pipe that squeaked and sprayed water when used. I was shown the issue and my handyman has resolved it. I have not heard or seen anything since. I hired an African-American company/group/bunch of guys because I really wanted to believe in them and to patronize them. Evidently, this clouded my judgement.

They stole my money. Because they was scared to do the work. They didn't want to go in my attic to check being so afraid of Raccoons. They don't know how to repair gutters They don't know how to repair facial board damage. They boarded up the opening Living the baby Raccoons trapped in my attic which is inhumane. causing dead smells to come through the walls Please be aware of the Con game. Also using Beachwood as their location to Rip off the Consumers. I'm a disability patient and they refuse to reimburse my money.

I had an scheduled appointment for 8:30am-10:30am, no one showed up or called. So I called up to the place and got sent to voicemail. This is why I don’t support black businesses because black ppl can never fall through with what they say. It’s either half way done or not done at all. I’m black myself and don’t even wanna support my own race business chain says a lot about the black community. No wonder why we get labeled how we do.

They told me I had to prepay for their service to catch some raccoons that have been hanging on my roof and porch. They never caught anything and never returned the portion of my money that was in their contract if they don’t catch any. I have called several times and the owner Daniel said I should be receiving a check in the mail within a few days - I am still waiting 3 weeks later. He is no longer returning my call. Please don’t use this service it is a big rip off. I’m out off $387.00 and they did nothing .
