We recently had an issue with roaches. The office listened to our issue and Ken the technician came he was fully aware, but then he listened to us again, took his time and addressed our issue. He really took care!

Rude cut in front of my 3 small children and myself while we waited in line. And guy and young chubby brown hair person. So unbelievably inconsiderate.
When Carolina Pest was a locally owned company, the service, responsiveness, and overall experience was outstanding. However, since they have been purchased by a larger company, the service level has declined significantly. I still love our technician because he goes above and beyond to keep his customers satisfied. They have changed scheduling methods, so they just send technicians to your house WITHOUT notifying you. You must call and tell them that they must confirm appointments prior. Well, this didn't work, and they sent the technician anyway. Even when I do schedule a specific day/time, they can't get that right either. I strongly recommend that anyone searching for a pest control company look elsewhere. We have been with Carolina Pest for 12 years and always had great service until about a year ago. DO NOT RECCOMMEND.
They do not let you know they are showing up to your property they just show up when they want to and also the technician will ask your spouse for their phone number. I am the one that opened up the account why would my spouse need to provide her phone number. Very disappointed. Since the beginning it was one thing or another.

Have been using this company since the beginning of summer and it’s fall the issue I’m having with the water bugs haven’t been resolved! Also the technician been coming out between my normal schedule visit, and the things I were told to do that will help prevent the issue I took care of, and still have the issue so at this point the service is useless to me, I have a quarterly bill that’s due and I ask could it be waved since the issue with the water bugs haven’t gotten resolved and I were told NO! The service was a waste of time and money will NOT use them NEVER again….

We have been customers with Carolina Pest Management for years, and we always pay for our quarterly visits a year in advance. In addition to our quarterly visits, the technician and company have always stated that if we ever needed additional visits to deal with an issue to just call and they would come out at no additional charge. We recently called the company because we were seeing swarms of bees in our backyard. The technician showed up and looked at the insects and stated he did not know what they were. He sent a picture to someone at the office who told him they were solitary ground bees and then advised us not to treat them. The whole process took about 5 minutes. Then to our surprise, we received a bill for $85. When I called to question the bill, I was told that bees are not covered in our service plan. When I asked why we weren’t told there would be an additional charge for the visit before he came out, he didn’t really have an answer. When I questioned the $85 charge I was told they needed to pay for gas and additional expenses. I really don’t appreciate getting a surprise additional charge after paying for this service in advance. This company obviously doesn’t value repeat customers or loyalty. The guy I was speaking to could care less that I was upset and said I would not be renewing my service. Very disappointing.

Generally we do not treat for bees (or other pollinators) such as these and I am sorry that it wasn't explained to you over the phone or in person that was the case. I thought I had visitor's, birds and maybe something else in my attic. The attic wasn't checked until I asked him to do so which was my initial concern.Good news no visitors so no wildlife was removed. However, the outside vents were cleaned by just him putting his hands in the vent and pulling whatever out. They don't clean the inside dryer vent (not the lint cleaning) but to insure any birds nest isn't inside. I wanted to have the outside vents replaced and was advise that the vents were under the siding and the siding would need to be cut. Was told that's not doable. Basically, 4 vent gates/covers later (which is about $10 at lowe's) a whopping $375 fee. Just ridiculous!!! If I could give a zero I would.

I was a quarterly customer for years & loved my pest guy. After a slow down in the economy to be careful with our home landscape business, we had to cancel this service. When our economy for our business got better, I called the office to get set back up with them. The office lady was rude, unhelpful, basically a NO personality. Then she told me (after only being off their service for about 6 months) that I would have to pay a new customer fee. Why? Nothing changed & my personal pest guy (I loved his service .. he is great) knew the place & what it needed... there was nothing new to check out & charge a fee for. So I initially said no. I thought about it for a month & really liked our guy that used to come out, so I decided ok I’ll pay the fee. So I call back, willing to pay. The No lady was so unhelpful & rude about setting us back up, that I just couldn’t deal with her after being on the phone to.. no no no for 5 min. So a couple more months go by. I figure my personality can’t take that lady’s rudeness, so I ask my husband ( the kind .. yes ma’am southern man he is). So he calls today. No no no .. can’t find you.. can’t help you.. I don’t know how to even price your house... I don’t know who you service guy was... no no no... soooo bye bye Carolina Pest. We won’t call back again.. it’s too bad, because if you can get past the office, our service guy (who called us quarterly (not the office lady)) was sooo nice & cared.

I called and got prices for pest control service. The lady on the phone set a time for the tech to come out and provide the service. Thirty minutes before the appointment time I get a phone call from the tech. "sir i've got a flat tire, can we reschedule you." I said ok the tech replied by asking me to call the office and reschedule. Now when did it become the customers job to do there job. I called the office to speak with the manager and twice he was to busy to talk with me. WHAT TYPE OF JOB ARE THEY GOING TO DO WHEN THEY DO GET HERE. I DON'T WANT TO FIND OUT. PLEASE TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSE WHERE...
