U.S. Lawns - Charlotte North

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the lawn care services I have been receiving from US Lawn. This has been an ongoing issue for approximately two years, and despite repeated concerns, the quality of service has not improved. I recently installed a camera system that clearly documents the lack of service being provided. (Unable to attach video) The technician failed to fully service my lawn, including completely missing one of the largest weeds currently in my yard while passing directly by it. Additionally, significant portions of the yard were skipped, including much of the middle section. Beyond the incomplete treatment, the crew routinely fails to return to edge the lawn or blow away residual debris after service is performed. The overall quality of work is unacceptable and falls far below reasonable expectations. I am requesting that this complaint be forwarded to the appropriate management personnel for immediate review and resolution. After two years of ongoing issues, my front yard has deteriorated significantly and is now largely dirt with very little grass remaining. This decline began after the current lawn care team took over service. I am extremely frustrated with the continued lack of quality and accountability. If this matter is not addressed satisfactorily, I intend to file a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB).

I live at a property that uses US Lawns. Today they put down mulch in front of my apartment with my car parked within inches of the area they were working on. When they were done they took a leaf blower and used it to blow all the excess dirt from the mulch away from the apartment walk way. That excess dirt is now all over my new car. I checked it for damages. At least I didn't see any scratches. From what I've read, I'm lucky about that much.

This company provides a sub par level of service. There is no attention to detail. A 12 year old with a push mower and a weed eater leaves my lawn in better shape. I fired the professional landscaping company in lue of the 12 year old. That should tell you all you need to know.

We were having major issues with our lawn and landscape at our house we just built. I contacted a few different landscaping companies, however, I kept getting the run around. Two different companies never showed up for appointments I made to get proposals for new sod plus some landscape design. I was beyond frustrated with the lack of progress and the time I was wasting trying to PAY companies to come out and do work. Then, I spoke with Whitney Thigpen at US Lawns of North Charlotte, and I am so glad I did! I was expecting to get the run around once again, however, she treated me like the most important customer she has ever had. Within 24 hours, I had a full write up of a new design along the front and side of the house, new sod, and a Maintenace program set up to have my yard looking #1 in my neighborhood. There is this guy Larry down the street, he is always bragging about how great his lawn is, and because of Whitney and US Lawns, I am going to show that dude what a real lawn looks like. Our HOA is going to have to crown a new 'Best Yard' king this year, and its going to be ME!!! I highly recommend US Lawns of North Charlotte!

Sadly we're at the mercy of this service due to our HOA, but the team that services Braemar couldn't care less about the service they provide, let alone what your garden looks like. Back in April, this team piled so mulch into the garden that many plants were destroyed. There was complete disregard to the landscaping I did, I'll provide before then after photos because it's unbelievable. I questioned several team members about the destruction, and felt that the issue was settled afterwards. Then last week, I offered cash to cut off long branches from a tree in my backyard, I'm bilingual so I spoke the same language as the personnel, the older gentleman and another man with grills agreed and accepted the cash. Then they proceeded to cut a single branch, LOL! Fool me twice shame on me I guess. Avoid this company if you care about your gardens more than value, a good deal is nice for a moment but bad service lingers. The last photo was the amount I removed from the garden; so besides the fact that they're inefficient, they're wasting resources! This is not a huge yard, it's a small garden!!
