If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I have never worked with a company that is so incompetent at performing their duties. There's a guy at the warehouse - Junior, who has cost me $1000's in fees. I had a load going from NY to TX that the driver advised that the weight was not evenly distributed and stacked too high but they refused to listen. The driver drove off, went to a scale station 80+ miles out and it turned out that the load was indeed overweight. I called Junior to tell him, he insisted that there was no way the load could be overweight and that the driver probably stopped somewhere to pick up another load (which he didn't). The driver went back for rework (which I incurred the costs for) and called me. Back at the warehouse, Junior was going back and forth with me, the driver, and the dispatch, so upset that he refused to listen to what anyone had to say. After some time, they finally reworked the load. The driver advised that the load was still too much on the driver axel and that they should move some of the boxes from the top onto a different pallet but they refused to listen. I called Junior together with the, dispatcher but he hung up yelling and cursing that it was done, the weight was evenly distributed, he was not going to touch the load and the driver has to leave. The driver had no choice but to leave. I just received a new ticket showing that the load is still overweight on the driver axel by 2000 lbs and now I have over $1200 in fees. This the second day of my load being held due to the weight.Due to the unprofessionalism that I dealt with with this company, instead of having the driver go back for a rework after being overweight the second time, I chose to go with a different company. These are perishable items that will more than likely be spoiled by the time it finally reaches the final destination, meaning that I will be accumulating more out-of-pocket costs. Had Junior listened to the driver and moved some of the boxes on to a different pallet all this mess could have been avoided and I wouldn't be in this predicament. Magic Fumigation had no disregard for the fact that I am a business owner who need my products in a timely manner in order to ensure that not only are the needs of my customer met, but also my financial needs in order to provide for myself, especially with this current state that the country is in. Avoid this company at all cost.
