I cannot thank Home Clean Home enough for their help with a challenging hoarder remediation of a 2-bedroom apartment in Manhattan. From start to finish, the team was exceptional. Before the physical work even began, Dona, the account representative, was a lifesaver. She was incredibly patient and professional while I worked through the legalities with an attorney. Since I was completely clueless about how to handle this, her expert advice and coaching were invaluable. The onsite project took 8 days from commencement through to a meticulous deep clean. The workers, Elhadji (Konneh) and Jessica, were absolute pros. They worked with a clear, well-thought-out 'plan of attack' rather than working ad-hoc. Despite the amount of debris and clutter, they always had a smile on their faces and never once balked at a setback. Most importantly, they worked with incredible sensitivity and kindness toward the elderly owner. Home Clean Home brought both a strategic plan and a lot of heart to a very difficult situation. I was nervous and anxious of the fact that someone else was coming into my personal space to clean it but Miguel was perfect with communication regarding decisions of keep and let go. Miguel, so friendly and impressive on his ability to delegate and organize steps to do what needs to be done. Marianella, is a cleaning magician. She is an amazing cleaning person. This past summer we rescued a family member after he suffered a stroke. He had been a recluse his entire life and had not been able to care for his home for many years. There were heavy layers of dust, floors covered in a staggering amount of papers, clothing, bags, garbage, etc. Some areas were dangerous, unlivable. We hired Home Clean Home a few months ago for their hoarding cleaning services after a deceased relative’s apartment in the Bronx had sat untouched for 2 years — and I can’t say enough good things about the experience. From the start, Miguel set everything up seamlessly and paired us with two incredible cleaners, Konneh and Nella, who went above and beyond. They showed up on time, gave clear and accurate estimates for how long the process would take (ours was 5 days), when items would be hauled away, and how everything would be organized. Their compassion and kindness in such a sensitive situation really stood out. They communicated every step of the way, explained what they were doing, and made sure we felt comfortable with the process. All my brother and I needed to do was focus on sorting through personal and family items, while Konneh and Nella handled the overwhelming cleaning, organizing, and clearing. They worked efficiently and with such respect for the situation. We were able to find very important documents and they did not throw away anything without our approval first. You can tell that both Konneh and Nella love the work that they do. To do this type of hoarding cleaning work, you have to really be a one-of-a-kind person (as the working conditions are not for the faint of heart!) They are an incredible duo. Yes, the service is an investment, but the results spoke for themselves — the apartment was completely transformed, and there’s no way we could have accomplished this without their help. I needed a five day deep clean of my apartment due to hoarding issues, and am so happy with the results!!! Crew leader Sory Camara just radiates positivity and empathy, has boundless energy and is a fantastic project manager. His team members Fernanda and Julian are amazing! And so nice! They all worked very hard to make my apartment pristine again, hauling away years of accumulated junk and debris. They cleaned everything, including pictures, in every room, floor to ceiling. They organized everything, including closets. They are so positive and reassuring, especially Sory, who also goes by Konneh. His drive and managing skills are just what I needed!! Thank you all!!

I hired Home Clean Home (Brooklyn Office) to help me deal with a very difficult situation to help.a relative move out of their NY apartment. The apartment was a hoarding situation beyond comprehension. I found HCH on the internet and am so grateful I found them!! I don't live in NY so I was at the mercy of finding a company I could trust. From day one, working with them over the course of about a month to work out the details was nothing but a pleasure. This included weekends. It's a woman-owned business and every woman I talked to was so nice, personable, very compassionate to my task at hand, very flexible, and willing to work with me. They talked to me like I was family. (Other companies weren't interested.) I have to point out that they were all very eager to work within my budget and their quote was very reasonable. This included Cindy, the Director, Nicole, and Dona. They promptly answered my emails, calls, and text messages regardless of what day of the week it was or time. Once we pinned down the day and time, I worked with Cindy. She was an absolute professional in every way. Extremely committed to help me accomplish the move and her attention to detail was amazing. With her project management skills, she helped me stick to a tight deadline that was dictated by lawyers. On the day of the "move", her team was right on time and eager to get busy with full Hazmat gear. They were nothing but angels of mercy with the conditions they encountered. It was the hottest day in NY (104 degrees inside) with no AC or fans from 10-4:30. They worked like a machine with no complaints doing everything I asked for - pulling certain items out of the apartment and cleaning/sanitizing them to be moved to another location. I can't begin to express what an incredible job they did. Before they left, they sent me photos of everything to be sure I was satisfied with their work and that they had gotten everything I requested. Despite the horrific conditions they worked in, all the items look brand new. The HCH team did not skimp at all to get out of there as soon as they could. They lived up to their company's reputation, and the company should be very honored to have them as employees. They worked so hard, it was astounding. So needless to say, I love this company and would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat (already have!).

We were shocked that the cleaning crew didn't come with the proper cleaning equipment for such an expensive service. They didn't have squeegees or microfiber towels required for glass cleaning. They were wiping down the glass & windows with paper towels. The cleaners had to clean the glass door 6 times because they couldn't get the smudges/residue from their cleaning product off. Such abrasive cleaning with inappropriate equipment could damage an expensive coating layer. After they informed us that the cleaning of the kitchen was completed, we could still see a lot of old dry food remnants around the burners. We had to ask several times if something was cleaned because it didn't seem like the crew was experienced or perhaps there were no proper procedures and methods in place (standard sequence of cleaning). For instance, they started wet cleaning the window before vacuuming the dusty AC that was right above the window. Furthermore, the way the process was explained to us during the assessment was not observed. the sequence described to us was that all dry-cleaning is done 1st (vacuuming, etc) then followed by wet cleaning (mopping, etc) We were expecting 3 cleaners per the original contract but only 2 showed up and there was no professional communication to inform us of such change until we had to bring it up. Some of the things that were described to us during the assessment were not completed. The granite countertop was not polished, the hallway walls were not cleaned, the kitchen sink that they used to rinse all the dirty mops were not wiped down & disinfected when they were done using it. Hardwood floors were not polished and the same mop & cleaning product was used for everything. This is certainly not how professional cleaning service should look, it is below any standard for the exorbitant price that we were charged for it. I really hope that they will take this into consideration and try to improve their processes for future customers so that they do not feel ripped off as we do.

One of the most horrible companies ever. They sent two cleaners. One, Charles was good. The other one kept leaving front and back doors open, snooping around, moved the stove and left it like that, left mouse traps on the floor...a disaster...they never put anything back, just left it all outside with rain on the way and wild animals in the area. Charles at least covered things. The other one kept nagging him to just leave. Three days and everything is still outside. Horrible company.

At cleaning they are good but they can't get rid of bed bugs. Exterminator has been here along with cleaning crews 5 times. True it might be the building? Why can't see this? I don't know what they are spraying isn't working. If it was up to me I would go elsewhere.

The worst experience ever!! Left my house with crumbs in the microwave. Oven was filthy. All they did was take my food- The countertops and cabinets weee not touched- kitchen floor was dirty - I had to do the entire job w my housekeeper after they left til 230 am. They apologized and that was it!

Horrible experience - never ever ever again

They charge you 30 for the application and then they want to charge you for a week of your work, that doesn't seem fair to me that a week of work should go to the agency
