Danny was very thorough in treating my apt. He flipped over all the mattresses, bed slats, couches, etc. The treatment resulted in finding dead bedbugs pretty quickly after application. He explained how the treatment would work, what I had to do after, and answered all my questions with knowledge and kindness despite all my anxiety over bedbugs! It may be pricey but honestly after a few weeks I was able to live in peace again after all the psychological paranoia. Would hire again even though I hope I never have to! And have already recommended to others struggling with bedbugs

I was lucky to have found Luis and his Above & Beyond Bedbug Removal company last summer of 2025 when I realized that my entire 4 story building was infested with bedbugs. I own a 3 unit apartment building in Hoboken, 2 of the apartments I rent out on Airbnb. When the first guest reported her bites to me one morning, I thought I could eradicate them myself by using a heat cannon to raise the room temps to 120 degrees. As Luis explained to me later when the guest in Apt 2 and myself in apt 1 started getting bitten, the bugs just moved down to lower, cooler floors via the walls. I almost lost it but thankfully found Luis through Yelp. The technology he employs is truly revolutionary; a fungus that destroys bedbugs by drilling through their exoskeleton and destroying their digestive system. The best part is that after coming into contact with it, the bugs themselves deliver the fungus to more bugs. When Luis sent scientific papers about this particular fungus and its efficacy in eradicating bedbugs, I knew he was the real deal because I am a retired science teacher. His worker was extremely thorough and we had the entire building treated in 2 days. It took about a week to 10 days for the process to complete but after that, I’ve had no problems with bedbugs since. Luis even warrantied his service into 2026 but thankfully I haven’t had to call him. I HIGHLY recommend working with Luis and Above and Beyond Bedbug Removal. Believe him when he tells you that he’s successfully treated entire apartment complexes when nothing else worked.

Earlier in the week, we had found a bed bug in the master bedroom of our 2 bedroom apartment. I decided to reach out to above and beyond bed bug services and there team did not disappoint. Liz was very helpful in arranging an inspection that same day. Shortly after I received a call from Luis who was very compassionate and forthcoming about the process of eliminating our problem would entail. He was very proactive and took initiative to call me and my family personally to provide relief and make us confident in his teams technique to deal with our issue. One of the solutions above and beyond specializes in is called aprehend, which is a fungal spore to create a barrier that will infect the bugs and eventually dispose of them. With this process we were able to bypass the stress and time constraints of packing up everything before we can attack the issue. An hour after my phone call with Luis, our technician Luke Edward arrived and we were very pleased with his not only his professionalism but knowledge of bed bugs, their behaviors and what to look for moving forward in the process. Edward performed another inspection to in our unit an gave us a breakdown on how he was going to treat our apartment. After his inspection he surmised that we had minimal activity in one of the bedrooms but got to work and treated our whole apartment. Edward's professionalism, kindness, and knowledge really made the beginning stage of this process as easy and stress free as I think it can be for me personally. I cannot thank Luis and his team enough for how they responded to this. Professionalism, knowledge and most importantly care are things that are guaranteed when dealing with above and beyond. I'm very confident this treatment will work and look forward to effective results when they return to make sure we're in the clear.

Highly recommend!! Called panicked on a Friday at 5pm because I thought I found a bedbug in my couch. The owner answered the phone right away and told me to text her some pictures of the bug, which I did. She called back in under half an hour letting me know that it was not a bedbug, and I didn't need to worry. Honest and straight forward! Like a lot of folks I woke up with unknown itchy bumps on my skin. My doc told me it could be folliculitis or bed bug bites, since I had just returned from traveling. Luis asked for some photos of the bumps, and we talked over phone and text - essentially a free phone consultation! Based on my situation he was leaning towards a medical explanation rather than bed bugs, and he offered a few other possibilities. I appreciate the quick response and his honesty.

I had found what I thought was a bedbug and called Luis at 7 AM. He not only answered the call but said he could have someone over the same day to check. I sent him a photo of the bug (very squished) and he told me it wasn’t a bed bug. I really appreciated his honesty. If I ever need bedbug services, which I hope I don’t!, I’ll definitely call Luis.

Luis utilizes a really effective fungal technique for removing and preventing mites that doesn’t make you remove all of your furniture or clothing or anything which was really convenient for us. He also gave us a huge discount with his consideration of our financial situation. In addition to this, he wrote us a letter to our landlord due to the law that requires them to reimburse you for maintenance that you paid for based on their oversight. Thank you Luis!

About a month ago I noticed a tiny bug crawling on my couch late at night, no idea what it was but something told me to check it out. I’m paranoid about all things insect related plus I just moved into this apartment. When my insect identifier apps came back bedbug I freaked. I called a few places who wouldn’t even come in less than 24 hours or confirm it was a bedbug by photo. I reached Luis who verified it was a bedbug and got his tech Danny to my home hours later. Luis made me feel calm during such a terrifying situation and assured me it would be ok and they can help. Which they did, at 8 am the tech arrived and was very thorough in his inspection and spraying of chemicals. Sprayed everting and everywhere just in case. Came back again to spray the 2nd chemical which releases spores into the air so anything that is still alive breathes it in and dies, even passes it to any other bugs it comes in contact with. We have 1 spray left, but so far we have not had any bites, nor seen any more of them aside from the 1st one. Thank you Luis and Danny for all your help so far and for your never ending support.
