Serviceman was knowledgeable and helpful explaining the process and thoroughly went throughout the house and outside spraying and baiting for carpenter ants. Paid an annual fee which includes continuous visits upon seeing new or more ants.

I had your basic Field Mouse problem. They’ve been able to set traps and keep track of activity as well as help Block the spaces they seem to be sneaking into the house. There has been a sharp decline with no more activity in the house.

I won't trust someone who looks like a tent again. My last Western Pest Services KILLED my Lawn where "Jr." treated. Too bad he didn't think of his clients as much as he thought of himself. I hope I don't contract Malaria now.

Showed up one hour beyond appointment window but once here tech was very friendly and professional, explained the steps he was taking, overall very good experience.
Steven Fernandez came to my apartment to address the major concern I have in my apartment with mice! I tried to explain it to him to give him a little history of what I saw and he’s continuously doing whatever he was doing with the stove, which was making a lot of noise moving it so I couldn’t even hear myself speaking, and he just continued on with no regard to hearing what I was saying, it got to the point where he became dismissive and then left without completing the job. Make a long story short I called management they came back with him. He still was talking over me determined to not hear anything I had to say keep in mind I’m the one having to deal with the mice in the place. He put down the stuff that the mice eats and then supposed to die. he said they don’t put down traps because the mice die in the walls..i’m sure at some point they die in the walls, but these little mice came to visit me on Christmas Eve and I caught one and then another one came out a few days later which shows they didn’t die in the walls. There’s more to the story but I don’t have time to go into any more details. I was highly disappointed by the way he dealt with the situation. My anxiety was to the roof ..he needs to have a little compassion, especially with the people that are dealing with the unfortunate situation of mice. It’s very uncomfortable considering I’m petrified of mice, he showed no compassion. Very very rude.
Service Tech arrived at the prescribed time. He was very professional and pleasant to speak with. He was very thorough in his inspection and remediation.
I didn't get further than multiple phone calls. One out of the three people I spoke to was helpful. I wound up using a different company and am better for it.

I'm giving 3 stars since I've used them twice and in past two years and house has been ant free, BUT technician showed up an hour late and cost was $300 to spray about 800 sq ft. Very pricey.

I had a very unpleasant experience with this company starting with my initial phone call to get a quote. However the reason I went with Western is because they are widely known (a friend had experience with them and she had great things to say) and they promised that the hornet’s nest would be removed the quickest (my neighborhood has children playing outside habitually, so their safety was most important). Anyways, the representative asked questions about my current home which I found unnecessary. So, I explained that the purpose behind the call was in regards to a hornets nests located on a tree in front of my house. I asked her why she had questions about our bathrooms and bedrooms. She said it’s part of the protocol. Afterwards she said based on our conversation she recommends us getting treatment for carpenter ants. The monthly fee would be an x amount and the removal of the wasp nests would be y. I told her I wasn’t interested in a contract for a year and would just like for the wasp nest to be removed. Her whole tone changed, made a comment and said the technician would be available to come the next day. A couple hours later a representative from Western showed up at my door. The technician was extremely sweet. He sprayed the nest and explained that someone would be coming the next day to cut the nest off. Which was exactly what the representative stated on the phone. She said that the day after nest is sprayed a professional would come and remove the nest. However, no one came the next day. So I called 2 days later to see what was going on and the representative who answered shared that the next availability was in the following week. I wasn’t happy with her response and I asked her why this was the case. But, as I tried to talk to her she kept interrupting me. That bothered me. She kept saying that everyone was busy and there wasn’t a single person available to come to our home. I felt like it was an excuse so I expressed that I paid a hefty amount because I was guaranteed that the nest would be taken down. She said she would talk to her manger and I requested I be transferred to her manager instead because I did not appreciate the lack of professionalism. She would NOT transfer me and put me on hold instead. She returned and said that someone would be coming tomorrow. I will not be using this company ever again. I will not be recommending this company. I did not appreciate both representatives’ lack of professionalism.

Have used Western several times in the past. Costly, but effective and technicians always nice. Contract was to be renewed until I received a phone call telling me I needed to renew right away. I asked for a week to think about it because I had alot going on. Girl on the phone says she needed a decision because she wanted to either take me out of the system or renew right away. Didn't like the pressure or the attitude of I needed to make a decision. Well they got my decision CANCEL service. Two days later they sent a tech and they removed all the bait stations they placed. I thought for the amount I paid these were purchased not rented? Either way Excel gets my call next time
