When I noticed footsteps in my attic at night I was really worried as to what may have been in my attic. So I called two different competitors before finally settling on 1st and Goal Pest and Animal Control. The two competitors quote was too high and I didn’t know what I was going to do as I couldn’t just leave a family of raccoons living in my attic. That’s when I called 1st and Goal and the quote they gave me over the phone was much more reasonable then the two competitors. Of course they had to come in-person to handle the job and their quote, as it turns out, was very accurate. Needless to say they handled the family of raccoons with ease and saved myself from a huge headache.

I own an apartment building and had a roach problem pop up. First and Goal Pest Control came out right away and took care of it fast. They were super professional and easy to work with. They made sure every unit was treated thoroughly. My tenants were happy, and the place has been roach-free ever since. Definitely recommend them! (The treatment was in September and I waited for results of the extermination to leave an honest review.)

Dan and his crew responded to an emergency situation. My wife and I had a squirrel in the house. Dan was able to remove the squirrel without hurting and my wife from having a heart attack. Highly recommend would use in the future.

RIP OFF!!!! DO NOT HIRE. I paid this company $850 six weeks ago to remove a yellow jackets nests. The yellow jackets are entering through an opening where the soffit meets the roof. The yellow jackets are now in my house and have caused damage to the dry wall because they have canceled appointments to come a third time and attempt to treat the nest instead of removing it. I now have to pay another company to cut the drywall and remove the nest that is in the wall. This company is unknowledgeable and ill equipped to handle the removal of wasp nest. Will not respond to my text messages.

When called initially, Rich had given a base estimate of $650 and up. When the guys arrived to our place, they took a look at the problem in the attic, caused by a raccoon, and bumped the price up more than x2. When asking about the work to be done, the two guys rudely interrupted, denied negotiation (which is fine), justified reasoning with the weather, and said they were leaving. What an unprofessional business with no mannerism.

These guys are frauds. Do not waste your time or money. I called them to remove and prevent squirrels in my attic 3 months ago and I still have them in my attic. They do NOT say or do what they claim. They have not done anything to get rid of them nor prevented them from getting in. They never answer the phone and do not return your calls. You can't leave a message because their mailbox is always full. They say they are coming and never show up. The most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Will be calling someone who actually can fix my problem and fight to get my money back. Don't get scammed like I did!

Complete RIP OFF do not call this criminal under any circumstances. He will NOT honor his warranty! He will not ever return to your home when his shoddy work is destroyed by the animals your trying to keep out of your home. 2,300 hundred dollars for nothing. Won´t respond to text or calls. Used this company to help with our squirrel issue at beach house. We were told this contract was good for 3 years. Not even 1 year in the squirrel issue is back and we keep getting the “run around” on when someone will come and rectify the issue!!! Very frustrating!

DO NOT USE THIS UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY! My Wife called the company to get an estimate for a possible bat problem in the attic. Rich the owner of the company told my wife that he will send someone the next day for a free estimate. He did tell my wife to expect to pay between $650 and up. His team came very quickly the next day and did there assessment. They were very thorough and professional and explained what needed to be done and that Rich would be calling with the estimate based on that. I got on the phone with Rich who gave me a price of $2300. I thought it was a bit to high so I explained I wanted get a second opinion before I make a decision. He said ok and hung up. 5 minutes later he called my wife and started yelling and cursing at her on the phone. Called me and wife names and said he would never help us with any future problems. Rich the company owner is extremely unprofessional and seems to be dishonest as well as I got other opinions from other companies who said it would cost much less to do the same job. Let me be clear though, companies can charge what ever they like but as a customer I can choose to not go forward with said price. What kind of company calls to yell at potential customers like that? Not only that before he hung up the phone with me he said "yes get a 2nd opinion I understand", but to then call my wife to yell and curse at her, not only unprofessional but a coward as well who likes to yell at a woman. Absolutely trash as a human and business owner.

Came out one time and assured me they would come back if the first treatment didn't work. Well it didn't work and we called and called and called and left messages. Never returned my calls, basically just took $350 for the first treatment and he was done!

We used this service for raccoon removal. Very prompt and did a really good job removing the animals. Thank you for that. Now .... impossible to reach bye phone. Has not responded to text messages. Paid in full ( very high price for what was done ). Traps are still in place and need to be picked up and the exit point secured. Please. Come back and complete the job. Paid In Full 😬

Daniel seems like a nice enough guy. Comes out same day, does the work same day. Great. But after he collects your money and finishes, he doesn't give you that same level of urgency. If your problem persists, he will try to tell you anything to convince you it's part of the process. He vaguely says he will come back next week or so, yet he tells his new business he can get there asap. Full of empty promises, and all about the money. He tells you it can take up to 30 days for an animal to leave. They put up a one way door to kick the animal out, the animal has to go outside for food within the first few days so should it be out sooner?... Apparently not. It's a nonsensical number he makes up so he can say "it takes some time for the animal to leave", just more excuses. If he doesn't understand why the problem wasn't solved on his first visit, he will make up problems out of thin air just to explain himself. Not happy.

A 1/4 of a star given to this company is more than generous. I will keep this as short as possible. I got 1st & Goal from Angies list. My appointment was for 1pm, however, they came at 9am. I let them in, by the end of the walk through I was quoted $1,800 to remove what they think is a squirrel. I requested it to be written down what will be done to make a decision. He replied he would call his brother/owner of company Dan Hinton to see if there is anything they can do with the price. The two men left my home without leaving any written quote. I received a call from Dan shortly after who had an attitude from the start. I simply asked what my $1,800 was going to cover in writing. His first reply was, "we don't have printers in the trucks", I said hand written is fine, he said "we don't have paper". Getting loud and agitated, he said "its straight forward, we will come and do the work, write it up and you sign and pay us". I once again explained I want to know what is being done prior to me agreeing to the job. I stated he can email the breakdown if it's easier. He said he doesnt need my email address and started getting louder with me. And yelled "do you even want this job done. I told him he was being incredibly rude and he yelled back "no, im not your being...." I hung up as he was going off on a tangient. I have NEVER been treated with such DISRESPECT. I have delt with plenty of businesses and IF you are a reputable company, you should have no problem putting your quote in writting. Getting angry and defensive for a simple request proves you are a snake!
