TruGreen Lawn Care Pequot Lakes

I was originally told, a technician would show up this morning for servicing my lawn, I waited around all day, so I could show the technician what was being missed all last year, thistles everywhere, and when you have late fall treatment your yard should not be full of dandelions with regular servicing, waiting around for 5 weeks for someone to show up and then you get a text message from the technician saying I can't make it, after waiting all day, wow I thought this company was better than that!?!

Used this service for the past two years. Switched our prepaid plan from 5 applications to 4 this season. Received a 5th application and an invoice for work we didn’t ask for. When my husband called they reduced the bill by half for a service we didn’t want or ask for! He was told that since we did 5 last year they thought we wanted 5 again even though we prepaid for 4!!! Also, they told him they sent an automated message that they were coming out. We were done with this company anyway since we have had to have them come back out to reapply for weeds and crabgrass both years.

My Baxter services were good. When I moved to Pillager, services were terrible. More weeds and winter kill. After 3 years of this, I stopped using the services. Not happy with services of this company at all.

We have used TruGreen for 10 years at least. Our lawn has been getting worse each year, weeds, winter kill. I called Tru Green, they were not out to service our lawn until the end of June this year. They told me everyone is having a problem with weeds this year, and they need to wait 35 - 40 days between applications. No answer why the first application was so late. Our lawn has way too many weeds, they are literally taking over our lawn. We have prepaid and may need to cancel next year! Larry and Edie Mickelson

I used Tru green for 8 years and finally said enough after spending a significant amount to build a healthy lawn. The last 4 years my lawn each spring has gotten worse and worse and each year its the same excuse, snow kill. I followed every recommendation they provided and this year probably had 60% of my grass dead, despite their pledge to create a healthy lawn. The recommendations differ from who you talke to their and lack consistency. This year when a supervisor came out and I asked how can my lawn be so bad if your company is doing their job and my neighbors on each side had much better yards and do their own lawn maintenance. I was told ' each yard and grass have a life of their own and you cant compare yard to yard'. Go figure, I had to laugh at this recent excuse. Their responsiveness has also declined over the past 2-3 years.

Hopefully they are awesome. Haven't used them yet just waiting for them to get to our cabin . We r having our yard sprayed for bugs and ticks.

We used TruGreen and were very pleased with the improved condition of our (challenging) lawn. It has never looked healthier, fuller & happier. They also periodically treated for a variety of weeds and basically eliminated our Creeping Charlie — excellent! Every technician I encountered was courteous & very considerate of our flowers & shrubs. There was never any issue or damage. TruGreen notified us ahead of treatment, posted signs when complete and emailed a detailed description of what services they performed — along with technician notes. If you have been considering a lawn service, I highly recommend TruGreen.

I met the owner Scott at a business networking group many years ago. I am glad to continue to give him our business after all these years. They have good customer service, the technicians are are friendly and professional, they do good work and follow up with a report of their service after each stop. I would recommend this company for the good people who own and run it and the quality service given.

After finding out I had a cinch bug infestation and reseeding last Fall my yard has never looked better. I watered as instructed and even with the drought this year the grass prevailed.

I've been very happy with TruGreen and have been using them since 2016. This year, with the drought, my lawn took a big hit, but they kept it looking good throughout! We added pest control at the end of the season so will have to wait until 2022 to review that aspect.

They did a great job. The lawn looks great.
