Cassidy arrived exactly at the time given. Was efficient about the work, made sure to put on shoe covers each time, explained the work to me, knew about the next service date, answered all my questions and followed through with everything that was supposed to be done. Although not there to do hornet and wasp extermination, Cassidy helped educate me on how they will treat it at the next visit and why it’s more effective to do it at that time. I have had no signs of mice since Rainbow starting treating my home. Something another pest control company was not able to do and blamed it on my home being connected to the neighbor’s (attached townhome).

Long time customer. I've paid these people in excess of $25,000.00 and have so many mice right now that we are too sickened to prepare food in our own kitchen. Do not sign up with these folks. Maybe they are just too busy with the other valued customers who cannot use their kitchens because they have mouse shit in their silverware drawer?

We hired Rainbow Pest Control in January 2025 to handle a mouse problem in our home. Even after they sealed areas and set their own bait traps, we’re still dealing with mice months later. We’ve caught several on our own using devices we bought, and it’s been a real misery living with this ongoing issue. The technicians were polite, but the treatments haven’t solved the root cause. We’ve kept everything clean, sealed, and followed their guidance, but the problem continues.

Extremely disappointed with Rainbow Pest Control. My neighbor hired them for ant treatment, but their technician mistakenly sprayed pesticide on my raspberry plants—even though they were not authorized to be on my property. This was caught clearly on my security cameras. Despite multiple calls and emails requesting the name of the chemical used (so I could know if my fruit was still safe to eat), I’ve received no response since I set them the photo evidence. The lack of transparency and accountability is alarming, especially since they apparently had an unsupervised apprentice doing the spraying. They were aware of edible plants on my neighbor’s property but seemed careless about others nearby. If you value your home, your editable garden, and clear communication, I’d strongly caution you before hiring this company.

At Rainbow Pest Experts, we take safety, transparency, and customer communication seriously and we appreciated you bringing this to our attention.<br><br>When you first called us on June 6th, our agent explained that the technician on-site was actually one of our mentors (supervisors), not an apprentice, and that edible plants had been documented to be carefully avoided. You were asked at that time to send in your video footage so we could review and respond appropriately. We never received the footage.<br><br>You called again on June 19th and left a message. Our manager returned your call the same day, left a voicemail, and again requested the footage. Based on the scope of work, which was limited to treating ground areas around pavement, and our technician's account, we do not think that any edible plants were treated. This technician is experienced, trained in pesticide regulations, and aware of how to work safely near gardens.<br><br>That said, mistakes are always possible in any line of work, and if something did go wrong here, we want to know about it and address it properly. These guys were trapping squirrels that were in my neighbors attic. One of the traps on the roof had a dead squirrel in it. The worker took it in the alley and just dumped it by the garbage, which is illegal in Minneapolis. I witnessed him doing it. Shoddy operation.

The person answering the phones got our request completely wrong. We were told by the tech who came that we should have been directed to a different department. The scheduling did not listen and even, on our second call to confirm the type of service, sounded annoyed that we'd call again. Very disappointed!

We spent a lot of money here to get rid of the mice and have our house sealed up, yet the mice never actually went away for good over our 2 year period. Switched to Valor Pest Solutions for hundreds less and they actually got rid of the problem. Don't waste your money here, and don't let them sell you on sealing your house either. They just come with a thin sheet of plastic and staples, which mice can very easily get through.

I noticed mice in my basement laundry room a few years ago (about 12 within a 3 month span) and gave Rainbow a call. A gentleman came out and confirmed the mice activity and went over my options. I decided to pay the $160 for the mouse bait stations; I believe I have a dozen of them and they say there's enough bait in those to last 10 years. The mice kept coming - and to ground level where I had traps set up, not to the bait stations and back into the walls to die. Rainbow came back out and suggested I insulate my foundation (December 2019). I paid $800 to have this done. I am terrified of mice and I live alone; I just wanted this to stop. The following early fall of 2020, the mice came back. As part of my 2 yr contract, they came back out at no charge and confirmed that the bait traps had seen activity. They told me they couldn't identify a point of entry but that they could be coming in under my walkout in my backyard and that I would need to pull up the deck boards so they could look and reschedule another appt. In March of 2021, I had my deck replaced. The contractors pulled up the old deck and Rainbow pest came to insulate the foundation, previously blocked by the deck. The expert said he didn't see any points of entry in this space. I had peace of mind that since my whole house was now cemented off, I would not get the mice anymore. They came out 2 or 3 more times after this because I was still getting mice. (I had 3 or 4 different "experts." The last visit I had, the manager came out and confirmed that a spot was missed around some electrical wiring in my backyard. They closed this up and confirmed this was where they were coming in and I'd be good. Yesterday I found a dead mouse in the traps I still have set up in my basement. When I called Rainbow they told me my contract was up and gave me the sales pitch on setting up stations and having my home insulated. I am beyond disappointed with the experience I've had. Save yourself $1000 and call a different company! I still have mice and now I need to find someone else who can find where they're coming in and actually stop it!

Very poor experience. We have used Rainbow several times in the past with good satisfaction, so not sure what changed but their quality and service have deteriorated. Technician spent far less time and product than in past years with poor results. Called four times as service is "warrantied". Follow-up service cancelled due to weather and then just too late in season. Now we have bugs in the house. I would have been better off buying a jug of chemical at Home Depot.

Gave them $99.00 with the understanding that when the moles were active I would give them another $299.00 called today and they don’t offer that anymore??? The free consultation cost me $99.00 and now I should take care of it myself which I told them up front I had no interest in doing. Make sure to get something in writing

Technician was knowledgeable and professional but the pricing is WAY MORE THAN OTHER RECOMMENDED COMPANIES. We planned to use this company. We knew the initial consult would be $99 and could be applied to future service. The services were so expensive we could not justify using this company. We were not able to get the company to reduce or refund the $99. BEWARE.

Hi Kristi,<br><br>Our apologies for the confusion around this - we strive for a great customer experience at all times.<br><br>I can understand your surprise at our price as our service for mice is quite different than most of our competition.<br><br>When we seal up the outside of a home we schedule at least 2.5hours, we inspect inch by inch usually crawling on the ground to locate entry points. We seal every accessible entry point about the size of a pencil and larger. We only seal holes with long lasting professional grade products that won’t rust, melt or freeze. These material include; cement, aluminum flashing, galvanized steel hardware cloth, copper mesh, etc.<br><br>Our mouse service is a premium service that is designed to permanently fix the problem.<br><br>That said, we do apologize for the breakdown in communication.
