The team at LCS Lawn and Tree Service has been taking care of our yard for quite a few years now. We used to have weeds and crappy grass, and LCS fixed that all for us. We love the alert notifications as to when they are coming and the recommendations they give us to keep our lawn in top shape. They do GREAT work!

The service people are friendly. I appreciate the one to two day notice that is given before service is to be applied. The price of the lawn applications are very fair along they have a great product. I would recommend LCS to anyone.

Avoid LCS Lawn—unprofessional, ineffective, and unreliable. I hired them for core aeration and overseeding, but saw no plugs, minimal seed coverage, and no improvement in lawn growth. When I contacted Andy at LCS, he deflected all responsibility, blamed shade from a few trees—without ever seeing the yard—and criticized me for waiting to pay, even though I delayed payment to fairly assess the results. After multiple follow-ups, Andy eventually offered to come out and give recommendations, but only after significant back and forth. By then, I had no confidence in his input—he had already made several claims without ever inspecting the lawn, and I didn’t believe his visit would lead to any meaningful resolution. To illustrate the difference in quality, I’ve included comparison photos: one shows the poor results from LCS, the other shows the healthy growth after another company did the exact same service. The contrast speaks for itself. LCS Lawn does not deliver on what they promise, avoids accountability, and shows little regard for customer satisfaction. Don’t waste your time or money.

I used LCS for 3 years. My son uses them and said they were very good. The first 2 years they were excellent. This year I called them because after 2 treatments I have lots of weeds growing in my grass. They told me they do not guarantee their work, but I could pay them a third time and maybe their treatment would work. Now I am looking for another company.

Haven’t use this company for lawn care but every time I try to get gas at the kwik trip in oak dale they are taking up all the pumps and not getting fuel they are sitting there all morning and it’s very annoying

Horrible experience after using them for 5 years last year over fertilized and killed the whole grass. When contacted they said it was grubs. Now we are having to sod the whole yard. Stay away from them.

Their quote for removing a tree was almost twice (5800) the lowest estimate from other companies (3000). The other company we checked with said 4k. This place is greedy

This company sprays fertilizer on property they are not under contract to care for. 2nd time!LCS fertilized property for the 3rd time they shouldn't be touching!

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had their service for three years have been good for two years but this year my lawn was full of weeds (which I let them know over the phone), when they came for application they left a note that I need to over seed, which I have been doing for two years. Every time I am on the phone with Amanda, she speaks with attitude. VERY POOR, I DO NOT NEED YOUR SERVICE ANYMORE. There are better people out there.

Their employee knocked over my potted plant and spilled everything out onto the ground and left it and broke the head and bulb off of my electric light by wrapping the hose around them. Did not leave anot nor clean anything up. I called and spoke to a manager and reported the damage and stated that it would be fair not to pay for the recent application of 58.00 he said no go out and buy the items and send a receipt and we will see what we can do which is B.S. I should not have to do anything let alone buy anything. NICE customer service after 15 years of service.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!! After utilizing LCS for their fertilizer services for the past 4 years, its come to this. I called a month ago to pre-pay for their service for the year (5 applications, 5% discount), which they told me they would call me back to accept payments when they were ready. I also scheduled dethatching. I just called to pay since I got my bill for the dethatch and prepay and told me it had expired for the discount? told me I needed to send in a check? Okay, TAKE MY MONEY! This was NOT my fault!!! I also shared how we just spoke with our association owners in facebook group (50+ homes) for a group buy on services and I had recommended them. Have already informed them of this situation, and we will NOT be using their services (over a 3% processing fee) Cheers!
