Very disappointed in the expected services. Rove was recommended by a family member so I was excited that they would perform as promised. I signed up on Friday and was given an expected service time of 2pm-6pm on the same day. No technician showed up or called. I called Saturday morning and was told that the offices were closed and we would not be serviced until some time next week. I think that this is poor customer service and a horrible first impression.
Tech had no clue what he was doing

Not 24/7 also technically greenix not rove
Today's routine service visit was performed by Blayza, but it was anything but routine: 5 STARS, 10 out of 10, two thumbs up, amazing! I've been with Rove for over a year and, far and away, this was the best service encounter I've ever had. In fact, it was the best service I've ever had from any pest control company. Blayza was exhaustive and comprehensive in his pesticide coverage, and he was very knowledgeable about the products he was applying and the services offered by Rove. He even explained different preventative aspects of my service contract that I never knew I had. Throughout his visit, Blayza was very well-mannered and highly respectful of my home. I want Blayza to be the only Rove tech who services my home going forward!

Had an ant issue inside the home. Nick walked in and knew the exact issue and begin to treat immediately. He took care when walking through the home, even starting with a less common area, without me having to ask, due to us being in common area. Thanks Nick.

Too few door knocks. I move slow with a walker. When I got to door no one and no truck to be seen. We thought you were to spray inside??? Maybe you should knock when you first arrive. (Others do) There was no tag/note on door to even know you were here.

Shout to service manager. As soon I raised a concern regarding the service, he showed up the next day and listened to my concern patiently and addressed it. Not very often many react for the feedback but he is a great guy. 4 stars because of the customer service representative and other.

Nick was very personable and seemed knowledgeable. However, once again, you sent someone who didn't have clear instructions from your office on what was required at our business. He sprayed and then thought he was done. He had no idea that we had 20 traps that needed to be dealt with. He also didn't know where they were in our facility. Is there any way you can maintain a file containing our details so that with each service call, we aren't the ones that need to guide your technicians to where the traps are placed...and that all the details we are paying for are included in his order form? I'd give Nick 5 stars, but your company only 1 star.

Came to my door today and told me my neighbor had just signed up. The kid was pretty young and you can tell it’s a commission type job and they want to keep pushing to make a sale. I talked to my neighbor and she said she never signed up despite them saying she did. But what pisses me off the most is after going to my house they went to my neighbors and told them that I signed up for a $45 a month subscription which I didn’t. Integrity is HUGE with me and I also don’t like my name being brought into lies. I also don’t require a response from you guys. I have worked sales for the past 20 years and even own 3 of my own sales companies and I know mistruth when I hear it. Sad thing is you’re teaching young kids to do this stuff and they are going to use it for the rest of their lives.

I really appreciate you letting us know about this. I have already reached out to fix this situation. It is way out of line of our training for our reps. There is never a need to be dishonest in sales. You have a few more years in sales than I do, but my 18 years has proven to me that honesty is the best route. This is especially true in pest control. All of our training is built around honesty and integrity. I am sorry that both ends of this happened to you like it did. I will get this fixed with the rep.
Please don't use this place. I have canceled their service twice for 2 different homes because they are liers, have an attitude and don't do the work they say they will. They were supposed to come out and check some traps at my house and said in their report they filled 4 traps. I have 5 traps. 2 in attic which they didn't even go up to check. They just looked at the others. I really hope no one else gets scammed like this. Look for a different place. This one is the worst.

After reviewing the notes and the conversations with different people, it seems there was some confusion that occurred that definitely needs resolved. I have our service manager and customer service team looking into the matter to figure out where all the errors and missteps occurred so they can be fixed and you receive the service you should have. The technician did not spray the nest before removing it, he cut it down then took the nest to the street in front of our house and ran it over with his truck, within two days the hornets were rebuilding the nest. So i had to spray the nest myself to kill the hornets and eliminate them. Was not satisfied with his process.

We’re sorry you had to attack them yourself. We cover additional services needed such as that free of charge under your service guarantee. If there are wasps continuing or any other pest in the future, just let us know and we come back free of charge. We are glad to hear he got the nest removed - that is the first step in the process. After that, the wasps that were out hunting will change course multiple times over the next 7-10 days. If they start working on a different spot, just let us know and we’ll take care of it.
horrible customer service.... its a sham... dont fall into it... its like you are hooked for life. service is really bad... i wish i had done some research before i got into this with Rove Pest Control... i called in Dec to cancel my services as i was moving out... and i have been their customer for almost 2 years... they kept charging me, when i called to ask why was i being charged they said, " ooh we never got your request to cancel, e need 30 day notice "... i said i cancelled it over a month ago... she said we dont have any record of you calling so you better pay up. this is just horrible customer service ... i asked if i could speak to the supervisor i was told " no one is in the office at the moment" and this was 10 am... guess what, all the reviews on their site in 5 stars, when i asked them i would to add my review they said, " ooh we dont have that option, and good luck with your review". .

After Rove, came to spray for the ants outside, the floor inside of my house was moving of how many ants I had. I promptly canceled the service and company told me that I have to pay $110 cancelation fee. When I told them that I have never signed any contract. They had signature from one of their services that they made me sign on the ipad which I thought would confirm their service. Instead, they used my signature and placed it on the contract that I never seen before. Now, I have collections calling me to collect this Fraudulent amount. Stay away!!!

When we performed the July service during the scheduled time frame, nobody answered the door and we were unable to treat the ants on the inside, but we did as much as we could from the exterior. We scheduled a free return service but service was refused. We would love to work on the ant issue, but we cannot address what we cannot access. Please call us at your earliest convenience and we can coordinate a solution. We look forward to hearing from you.
Rogue.... I mean Rove Pest Control is awful, in my opinion. They come to your door to sell you a $1.00 trial of their product without explaining you are comitted to a $600 contract, then when you call to inquire about the bills you received and to cancel, they are extremely unprofessional and start yelling over the phone that "you signed a contract, its not their fault you didn't read the fine print". I was never shown any fine print before signing. By the way, I saw little to no difference or a slight increase in bugs when they treated our house. Sorry to say, but this business is a scam and has a very sketchy business model. The good reviews are from friends and family. Nathaniel Kelly, one of the reviewers who gave 4 stars was our service tech with Rove. He was great, but just proving my point that the reviews are from friends, employees and family.

Thanks for bringing these things to our attention. It sounds like you had some interactions with some “rogue” employees as this does not represent what they are trained to do. We would like to gather more information so we can both correct the employees involved in the situation and find a fair resolution for the situation. The service is guaranteed, so the first step would be scheduling a free follow up visit to address whatever pests are continuing. It is normal to see a slight increase after we treat as the products disrupt existing population patterns. If this continues beyond 10-14 days, we definitely want to know about it so we can return and resolve it. Called to cancel they told me to not to and they would come do a complimentary service. Then when talking to the rep to schedule(in Sept) She clarified that I wouldn’t be back on billing cycle until Dec...they charged me in Sept. After days of back and forth calls to try to clarify I was received rudely by the rep and told NO one was going to change the charge regardless of the prior conversation of no charge. Terrible customer service.

I'm sorry for the confusion, but I am happy to help clarify. Free services are available as needed and requested between regularly scheduled treatments. A good example of this is the additional free service that was performed in July in addition to the regular treatments that occur in March, June, September, and December. We would love to continue working with you and are more than happy to perform a free service between regularly scheduled services, but the free services cannot replace the billable ones. If you would like to set up a free service along with a regular treatment schedule, we would love to accommodate. If you would like a referral to another reputable pest control company, we are happy to help with that as well. Either way we appreciate your business.
Force you to continue service unless you call them at end of your contract. I moved out of my home, 2 months later get notice they are coming out. I called to let them I don't live there but since I did not give them 30 day notice (like a utility company...their words) I still had to pay for no service preformed. This is the worst business model and company service. I will not use them in any future home and recommend everyone else not use them either. They were more interested in my $100 today then any future sales...so hope they enjoy the wopping $100.
