I was a customer for over a year. This company is a joke. They give you a 3 day heads up before they are coming and expect to get into your house mid day like you're not at work. Also I had a new born and was hesitant to have the inside of the house sprayed. I was supposed to get a call from a manager to provide more details of what exactly would be used. Still have not received that call. Although multiple people said they would have a manager call me. I also contracted lyme twice this year, even though they apparently treated my yard for ticks. I found over several on my dog each week also.

I was a loyal Insight Pest Solutions customer for over 14 years for both interior and exterior services. Unfortunately, my trust in this company ended after a very disappointing and concerning experience. They recently promoted a side service offering attic inspection for mice. The person they sent to my home inspected the attic and immediately claimed I had a severe mouse infestation. He went as far as saying mice would soon start “falling through the canned lights” in my ceiling — clearly an attempt to scare me. He then quoted me $18,000 to fix the issue, which felt like blatant fear-mongering and a high-pressure sales tactic. I had my attic inspected by another professional afterward and was told there was no infestation at all. Because of this experience, I decided to cancel my service after 14 years. However, I had to call twice because I the person who answered the phone said she would have a manager call me and no one followed up . I no longer wish to do business with a company that uses scare tactics and takes advantage of long-time customers. Very disappointed in the direction this company has taken. I am still waiting for an email I requested stating service is cancelled and they will not use my AMEX on file.

I have subscribed to Insight Pest Solutions for over a year now. My house is pretty secluded in the woods, so it is a target for ants and mice. The insight team never misses an appointment to treat my house. They provide an overall summary of the work accomplished and their recommendations to reduce the unwelcome guests for my home. They have followed up with an inspection of my attic, where I can hear these mice at night. James provided a clear step-by-steps process on how they can treat the problem right at its source. I was pleasantly surprised this was a service Insight provides and am excited to rid my attic of mice. Insight does what I wish my cat would do! Thank you to the Insight Team for your customer care and the work you provide. EDIT: I had this service performed in July. I was asked to submit a review for a discount. Here’s my true experience. Two workers in my attic all day. They knocked three ceiling tiles out of my ceiling while performing their job. Mistakes happen. I went to Home Depot to buy replacement tiles and said I’d get someone to help replace. Their supervisor came over and took the receipt from my hand from Home Depot for the replacement tiles. I was expecting reimbursement. Never saw a penny from them. He said he would find someone to replace because it might be cheaper. Instead, this was ignored. Two hours after the service, I hear mice in the attic. I was told they would be sealing any entrances to help prevent mice from entering. I know that isn’t 100% guaranteed, but the amount of money I dropped on this service and to have the same amount of mouse activity in my attic is not worth it. I dropped thousands of dollars, resulting in the same amount of mouse activity, and three holes in my ceiling. Save yourself the money and headache. I’m cancelling my services.

I would never under any circumstances recommend this company to anyone. They do the absolute bare minimum and worse over they offer you a discount on their services for a good Google review. Any company that has to buy their reviews is one to be avoided. I had them for 5 years and they were terrible to work with. The last straw was their attempt to unsolicited sell me $24,000 in unnecessary attic insulation because the previous owner of my house once had a mouse up there. I’ll be clear. I never called them for mice, have never seen, heard, or seen droppings or damage from one and they thought it a good idea to do an unsolicited inspection in my attic and insist I need to finance $24,000 worth of attic replacement insulation. Do not let them upsell you on anything. They are predatory. We have already switched companies.

These people and this company are absolutely the worst! One bait box outside ( previous company had 3) Nothing in the basement or attic, ( previous company had 4each place). I have a metal roof and suggested the bait box should be placed on the gable end however the tech did otherwise and the box remained buried under the snow all winter. I told them I had mice in the basement so they came and put snap traps in the basement only. I also had him move the bait box outside which he did. He tipped it at an angle to face under the screen porch and I happened to walk by a couple weeks later and the poison had fallen out of the box during heavy rain and was spread on the ground. The dog dish has to be picked up because it was covered with ants. I fired them and they insisted they would come back to fix it AGAIN! I recently purchased the home so I only had them for a couple months and the previous owners never had pest problems!! Terrible company and people! BEWARE

SO disappointed!! Not only did I come home yesterday around 2:00 p.m. to see that they had done one of the four treatments for the year, treating for insects. Now mind you its freezing temperatures outside, 5 inches of snow on the ground and so windy its hard to even walk outside. The treatment card stated that they had treated the perimeter of my house, my back patio, and treated for mice which would only be in my back shed with a trap or two because thats the treatment I do. NOT ONLY were there no footprints in my back yard, the fences on both sides of my house are FROZEN shut! It was a false treatment. I have been giving this company $500 a year for the past four years. Now I have to wonder how many times this has been done. I still have not received a phone call back after calling two times!! So unprofessional and upsetting that I thought I could trust these people!

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I have a contract with them and called for them to come out a few days ago. They were to come yesterday between 10am-12pm. I called at 9am to reconfirm, just to be certain. I was told that I was already confirmed for that time and they would be coming. At 12:15pm, I called and was told they were running late and they would have to reschedule for another day. I spoke to a manager named Candace who explained their system was down and all of their offices were closed. I asked why no one has called me or why, when I spoke to two different people earlier, neither one mentioned it, instead saying they were running behind but coming. Candace told me she would reschedule me for today between 4-6pm (after I had to call them again because no one got back to me). I said that was fine. I was told they would call 1/2 hour before they come so I don't waste more time waiting around today. I said great. Well, it is 6:10pm and I have not heard from anyone and no one has shown up. I called the office and got a voicemail message that they are closed. The kicker is that the ONLY time I have ever used my contract before was about a mouse. They came out and said they found no entry points and it must have been just one who came in when the door opened. Well, guess why I had called for today. They were absolutely wrong and I didn't know that until I went to my electrical box and found it full of droppings. This company is not only unreliable and incompetent, but they are incredibly unprofessional in their lack of communication and wasting of clients' time. Since they don't seem to want my business, they won't have it anymore.

Richard was an amazing tech and was very knowledgeable about the services provided. I would give him five stars as a tech but I will say that the office in general has issues with customer reps need to be trained better in customer service skills and the supervisors need to follow through with appointments I have had no issues with pests since having insight service my home but their customer service is horrible. They can’t schedule appointments when you call. They don’t show up when scheduled and they come at their convenience not yours. I was scheduled for a 3-5 pm appointment on Monday I called them to let them know I was running late they said that’s ok we are not coming today anyway….but I did not get a call to let me know that. They scheduled for the following day between 5-7pm and I was told by a supervisor I would get a call. The tech show u at 4:10 I had just arrived home. I did not receive a phone call from anyone and good thing he showed up early because he had to do the outside area of the home and because of daylight savings it was going to be dark before 5pm.

Don't do the one year agreement. I wanted to wait until the end of my agreement to cancel the subscription. (Even though the technician were all very nice i wasn't too happy with the product, I don't think it worked -still had spiders coming inside the house and bee/wasp nest outside my siding when i used them for a year). My agreement expired on the 10/04 and I got charge for the following month on 10/05 . I called them the same day 10/05 to cancel the services and request a refund since agreement was expired and services were not going to be use anymore. Today 10/07 I received a call from them letting me know cancellation was successful but refund was not possible since my card was already charged. I paid one month service for no service since I cancelled the same day my card was charged. No happy with that. Before this company I had someone else do the pest control i didn't have any bugs inside my house. I'm definitely going back to the other company. No recommended.
