I called Viking pest control and their site says fast and free estimate several times when you call them, they charge you $99 to send someone out saying that they’ll take it off the price that they quote you if you use their service. I couldn’t use their service because of their exorbitant fee, they told me I couldn’t get my $99 back that the fast and free estimate was for talking to them on the phone now how could they estimate what they were going to charge me on the phone. Then they tell me they can’t refund my fee because the free and estimate was only good for my phone call and that it says that openly on their website which it does not or I certainly didn’t see it so I told them I would let people know not to be fooled by their fast and free estimate cost.

Do not recommend. We used Kirkwood for years. Viking since bought Kirkwood and the phone customer service is terrible. I cancelled a service though their text system but it was not cancelled on the technicians calendar. He showed up and sprayed outside even though I cancelled (not the techs fault). When I called to complain, I was escalated to a manager who assured me he would make it right, including returning to spray the inside of my home and not charging me for the inside or outside services. A few weeks later I receive a bill for the services. When I called to dispute it, they essentially said tough luck and would not acknowledge the conversation I had with the other individual and what they promised. I will be finding an alternate pest control company, hopefully one that is locally owned and brings good, honest customer service.

A technician named Gabriel Cesar is awful. He came to my house a few times and did nothing. In fact, he came on June 11, 2025 and he asked me if I saw any rodents. I told him "no," but I asked him to check the traps in the basement. He said he was busy and so rudely and unprofessionally left without doing a damn thing. Last year, Gabriel even made me do a 5 star rating for him when I did not want to do so. He said he would get a 5 dollar bonus from Viking if I did the review and he handed me a paper with all of the information to do his review. He said he really needed the money because Viking pays him so little, so he made me feel Sorry for him. I would never fall for that nonsense again. What a crooked employee!

I can’t say enough good things about this company, but mostly the representative Marshall that came out to help with our fruit fly INFESTATION!!! Marshall explains every step of the process and what he was using. He left no crevice of the house unchecked! He was friendly, great communication, and thorough. Even before he left the house, I noticed a difference. I felt like I got my moneys worth, and I feel like they stand behind their service if the problem comes back! This company is lucky to have such a great employee. Trust me when I say call Viking pest control if you ever need them!

Quentin Jones an employee from this company had me change this from a 4 star to a 5 star review. I hope I don’t have to say anymore. If your house is getting treated request his name. Customer for 3 years now and he came out today and I felt like I received the full service that customers expect.

Prompt response to our request. Technician arrived as scheduled, and was thorough in his work. Yellowjackets did return, however. A second call to exterminate was answered promptly, and technician arrived as scheduled. This time, the insects were eliminated.

I just received my second Spotted Lantern Fly through Viking Pest Control and it is like night and day. Compared to last year, my birch tree would be swarming with thousands of SLF, but after my first treatment they have been almost non-existent. Came out twice … never set traps … charged me for set up and was supposed to come out until it was under control.. which never happened .. this has been going on months and I stopped paying the bill because I felt like I was being charged for services that were not performed! Never again . And DO NOT RECOMMEND

It's frustrating they bill without performing service. They keep billing and show account delinquent when they have not done service. I tried 4 times to tell them not to pre bill but they keep doing it without follow up on scheduling a service. I am tired of their not listening. I will find another service.

Regular winter maintenance. I asked for inside spraying common areas for general bugs and or spiders and he did ask I requested. Gentlemen was very friendly and accommodating!

They have no communication skills whatsoever. Called and set an appointment with them the women got my address wrong and didn’t clarify it !! I was waiting from 12-4 for them to come and no one showed up . Called 4 times and no one knew a thing. I would not use them .

Viking has serviced my property in past years for Carpenter Bees. They came back out a second time in 2020 without any hassle as well when bees showed up again later in the Summer. I booked them again this year because of their past performance. Jeanne L helped me on the phone and was quick, friendly and helpful. Really have had professional service from everyone at Viking.

We had a horrible infestation of mice after construction was done behind our house. It was awful & they got into everything. Shawn (tech #7106) was amazing!! Kaleb has been our tech for 7 months or so and he is awesome! He's always willing to answer any questions and he comes out fairly quickly if we think we need a quick treatment before our next official one. Last time, he was running late and I had to leave for work, so he still came, treated the outside and then left me a few bait traps to put in the house AND he said he would still come back if we wanted him to officially treat the inside again (with or without us using the bait traps he left). He is awesome and we are so happy with Viking's service! Our house was (unknown to us at the time) a cockroach and ant haven when we first rented it, much to our disgust. Now it's happy, healthy, and PEST FREE!!!! Thank you Kaleb, and thank you Viking!
