I’ve been using MRW for over a year and they have been great. My front lawn was completely bare, but they were about to rejuvenate it and now it’s full of grass. I highly recommend their service.

Mr. Cory was professional and ensured positive representation of MRW. He appeared early in uniform and ensured that I knew he was on my property. Addition, he ensured the safety of my dog by securing my gates. Lastly, he used the blower to clean up any excess fertilizer on my driveway and sidewalks. Pablo and his partner shoveled a pile of snow off our front lawn before they applied our first lawn treatment of the year. As always, they also used a leaf blower to remove the granular fertilizer that had scattered on our driveway, walkway, and back patio. They were very friendly and conscientious! Well done!

Been getting my lawn treated by MRW since spring and have seen great improvement. Today William did the core slice and seeding along with an assistant and they were very thorough and efficient. William took time to answer some of my questions regarding how certain weeds are treated and the best time for it. Pleased with their work.

I've been a MRW customer for over a year now. The service I received today from Dekeidrian H. was truly exceptional and very much appreciated. He exhibited professionalism throughout the entire process, and was notably kind and patient while addressing my questions. It was evident that he possessed extensive knowledge about lawn care. Dekeidrian performed a thorough spraying of my yard, ensuring complete coverage. Furthermore, he took the time to clearly explain the rationale behind the fertilizer choice. His dedication to the task and commitment to customer satisfaction did not go unnoticed. Overall, the experience was positive and reassuring.

From the time Samual got to my property it was go time. He was very knowledgeable about the product being applied and kept me informed from start to finish. I couldn't be more satisfied with not only Sam but the entire team at MRW!

MRW Lawns is the best at quality lawn care that is ideal for environment and best value. Henson treated my lawn today for moles and crabgrass. He did a thorough job and it really shows in the health of my lawn! I’m a long time client and I can’t say that about many services. Highly recommend you look at what they have to offer.

I wasn’t impressed at all. I had service for 2 full years ($1700+) and saw no improvement in the health or look of my grass. A couple of times during that time period I questioned if service was actually rendered.

UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO REPLY: From other reviews and speaking with the company, I believe there are two types of customers for MRW Lawns: 1-people who have an unlimited budget and will allow any and all treatments recommended regardless of cost; 2-the rest of us. I have seen some of the yards they maintain where money is no object and they are GORGEOUS so good on MRW for being very good at their job when the resources are unlimited. For the rest of us, though, they're basically a pyramid scheme. Before you work with them, just decide which category you fall into and adjust your expectations accordingly. Yes, they reached out and wanted to reassess and blah blah blah but...at what cost? That was the biggest issue - everything was just another thing to raise my bill. I'm just not willing to write a blank check for a yard. I was really excited about this company based on neighborhood recommendations and I am sad to say I have been completely disappointed. I moved into my house in January and the lawn was in really nice shape. After some bad experiences with other lawns, I wanted to be proactive to maintain the nice lawn and explained that to the MRW rep. I signed up for the standard treatments and followed their regular maintenance and care recommendations for mowing and watering. After 9 months, almost my ENTIRE yard is crabgrass. I asked them about it and the rep told me to be patient as the treatments will kill the crabgrass over time. Maybe I have special mutant crabgrass but their treatments never made a dent in the growth and definitely didn't kill a single blade of it - it seemed to fertilize it to grow faster. But I trusted them and stayed patient hoping that maybe today I'll start seeing the leaves turning purple and dying off...nope. My crabgrass is trying to go to see AGAIN. Another rep told me that it can take multiple years to 'get a lawn in good shape' but my lawn was ALREADY IN GOOD SHAPE! I wasn't starting from a bad place but now I have to pull an entire yard's worth of crabgrass by hand after throwing money away on worthless treatments that did nothing but fertilize the crabgrass. Maybe I just didn't spend enough money to get the real/good treatments. I just didn't think I needed anything all that involved since my lawn was starting from such a nice place. Very frustrated.

MRW is effective at producing good enough results to show initial progress during the standard 4-5 treatments per year. However, it is only after the most basic of broadleaf treatment portfolio that the sales and service team tell the client that an additional suite of broadleaf weeds, crab grass, Bermuda grass, etc. - which are common in SoMD lawns - costs hundreds of dollars more per year to treat. The rare/periodic participation by the treatment technical supervisor culminates in a report naming the weeds present, does not name which weeds are fully covered by the treatment, and most often responds to requests for assessing and/or correcting the performance of prior treatments by tasking the client with photographing and identifying the deficiencies in weed treatment through an email report. So, you're going to pay MRW for the opportunity for yourself to do the quality checks and reporting back to their service dept. Further, when the helpful customer service staff (she was patient and attentive) states that if/when weeds persist beyond 2-3 weeks after the treatment application date, to call them for a free re-treatment to honor the contract you paid them to execute, MRW denies this offer and tells you they will either "schedule the next treatment early in the window," or decline to refund any percentage of the ineffective treatment. Upon each annual assessment when the treatment manager actually shows up to your house, the inevitable result is $600-$2400 of extra services that are deemed necessary to address weeds in your lawn. These services are: aerate, overseed (and broadcast spread grass seed into your landscaping/flowerbeds indiscriminately), paying premiums to treat >50% of naturally occurring MD weeds, double treatment "to hit the weeds this broadleaf treatment covers extra hard." I know other clients of MRW that have been satisfied, and who received partial/full refunds of single treatments that were unsuccessful. This approach to honoring the contract was not extended to me, unless it was tied to 50% off your NEXT treatment. So, they would only do so if I continued paying them for future ineffective treatments. Finally, after 3-4 years of treatments, fertilizing, etc, I was told that the lawn they had been treating was "off" chemistry. The recommendation? $1200 of chemistry treatment to bring it into a good neutral pH and organic matter. I would not recommend MRW, because there is always another $1000 treatment that would solve the issue, while never satisfying the initial ~$700 annual contract signed to resolve broadleaf weeds.

Just the worse....they called me at 7am to sell me a product...I agreed, I got a call 2 weeks later saying I selected the wrong product (that they recommended). Reps were just jerks! As if I owed them something...

I was given the option to pay for 2 treatments. After the first treatment I saw no greening of the lawn. Supervisor came out and informed me it was due to fluctuating temperatures and being a new lawn. I bought my own bag of fertilizer and put it on the back yard. 2 weeks later it was green again..... I received a call today to make payments for next year. I informed them I was not continuing services. They claim the payment I made for the 2 services I wanted and requested locked me In to a whole year agreement. They are not willing to accept the payment for the two services and require me to pay for and additional 5 services with a company I do not want to have dealings with. Beware of the cheap sales tactics and tricks used to lock you into a contract. I had a agreement with natural green systems previously and never felt like I was dealing with a cheap salesman.

I paid for services and things seemed to be going well, until MRW LAWNS STOLE MONEY from my credit card for ADDITIONAL, OPTIONAL SERVICES that they did not render - services that I declined when they offered it to me. I'm not sure if they completed all regular services. MRW is refusing to give me my money back. When I began with them, I was going to give them a prepaid card so that I could have control of the payments. They told me that they could not use the card and that THEY HAVE TO HAVE A CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD. NOW, I SEE WHY. If major stores, companies, doctors, Amazon, etc. accept this prepaid card from my bank, MRW should too. They want the credit or debit card because they can swipe it as often as they want and know that they will get the money. THAT'S ROBBERY!!! I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THOSE ADDITIONAL CHARGES!! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. I will take legal action if they don't give me my money back.

Coming up to the end of my first contract with this company. Never, Ever again. Customer Services and their Service in general for us has been the worst. Before I started with this company I had grass. Then the excuses started, too hot for grass to grow, or they would present a whole list of services they can provide for extra cost that will help the grass grow. For those who gave this company 4 or 5 stars, you were lucky, good for you. As for me, Never, Ever again.

Be prepared to pay extras. Basic service doesn't include all weeds that may pop up in your yard and the additional services will cost you more than the basic service costs. Not the service I was expecting.

Wife came home after lawn service completed and let our pets outside. So called "professionals" left our gate open... Not impressed with customer service. If you have pets, better check your gates after they visit your home.

Had them diagnose my yard. Signed a contract with them for a year. Then half way through they said we have crab grass now it’s going to cost us more money if you want them to treat it. This company was not what we expected and would not recommend them to anyone.
