I have termite protection and mosquito/insect protection for my house. Thanks to the amazing Charles Lewis, who comes monthly to spray for bugs and mosquitos, I can now sit out on my patio and hang clothes out in the yard without being stung by hordes of mosquitos. I have tried lots of homemade mosquito repellants in the past, and none of them has ever worked as well as Charles with his stupendous spraying equipment. I have not detected any termite infestations either since the treatments were installed in March. Thanks Terminix for giving me peace of mind that my house and yard are protected by your quality products!

I hired this company because I had a problem with cockroach tech came to the house late twice spray something around and leave in less than 10min? The second visit I was not home again shows up late I explain that he supposed to be here early he goes “ I hit you up during this week “ proceeds to send a complete job message? They hired unprepared people to do this job terrible experience.

Sean Richardson was prompt, thorough, respectful of our home, and very affable. He did a GREAT job inspecting our interior 2x4 wall, scraped off old dry mud tunnels and sprayed the wood carefully. We felt much better after Sean's visit. THANK YOU Sean Doug O

After the original salesperson left the company the day after conducting the initial site survey, Rob stepped in and made sure the work was completed, including successfully treating the flying insects on the 2nd and 3rd floors outside our home. Terminix, and specifically Maurice, has been doing a great job for us for years! I love that we always have the same technician, because now he knows all the issues my property has at different times of the year. He addresses them quickly, is easy to talk to, very knowledgeable, and always tells me that if anything comes up between my scheduled appointments to just let him know and he can come back! He does such a great job, we have never needed him to!

The worst company ever! I called to see about bug control and they was supposed to come and check for consultation. However one of the agents Greg did not want to come because my home is rental place and it needs to be approve by compnay rental management. I only needed them to check before I figure out the management first per their website policy. They keep giving me the run around. Please do not book with these people.

We’ve struggled with a persistent mouse issue in our home for years, despite working with multiple pest control companies. None were able to resolve the problem, and we often dealt with missed appointments and incomplete inspections. That changed when Mike from Terminix arrived. His inspection was exceptionally thorough—both inside and outside the home—and he quickly identified a clear entry point that previous companies had overlooked. Mike developed a comprehensive treatment plan that included sanitizing affected areas, sealing all entry points, and strategically placing bait stations. The service was scheduled promptly for the next day. The technician arrived on time, was professional, and completed all tasks as outlined. My wife and I are extremely satisfied with Terminix. It’s only been two days since the treatment, but we haven’t seen or heard a single mouse. We’re optimistic that we’re finally on the path to a pest-free home.

Initially I liked this company seemed straight forward proposal and I was going to use them over ORKIN, but that was the extent of the good... I do not recommend this company. Poor communication and trying to trap me just like they trap their rodents. Ira Cutler created a proposal for treatment that the technicians were not able to actually do. They wasted days of my time saying they were going to come out and complete the job only to reschedule without even letting me know. I would call the day of and say anyone one their way and they would say oh it was rescheduled, gee thanks for letting me know. In the end WE decided to cancel my contract because Terminix couldn't actually fulfill the work they said they could do, but since I am told they had put bait stations in the ground they say I have to continue paying for a year even though the first month I saw a charge I called and said why are you still charging me we agreed to cancel this contract. They said because the bait stations are in the ground so I said ok go take them out and they did yet here I am still getting charged for services they did not complete. I do not think they have ever been to my house since that day they failed to get anything done. I've called several times to try and get this remedied but the customer service says " branch manager" denied the request and I am not allowed to speak with the branch manager.. And again fail to communicate, no one has ever told me the request was denied. So please make sure Ira knows what he is doing when he gives you a proposal so the company does not try to stick you like they are trying to stick me. ZERO STARS

Sean my technician really took care of our problem promptly and efficiently. He really took the time to listen to our concerns, and help wherever we had the issues at. He even took care of our issues outside as well. Since signing up with terminix and having Sean as our tech our problem has really gotten under control. Terminix you have the best technician out there Sean!! I will definitely be continuing my service with Terminix. I really love the professionalism that Terminix exhibits. A text before the technician comes, a phone call before the tech comes to let us know he is on his way. When starting the service the first time Terminix sends the photo of who is coming to your home and their pic too. Along with their license number i really love that and makes me feel safe and secure so i can know who is coming to our home. Thanks Terminix

I have been a client nearly four years. Lately, their practices have been less than satisfactory. During the winter, my service was canceled after I rescheduled a treatment. The Owings Mills curt "manager" initially alleged that I was a new customer so therefore my service was terminated. Negative! He then suggested that I canceled the service. Nonetheless, my service was reinstated. I previously had made two appointments for indoor treatment with the most recent appointment on 06/03/2025 and twice the technician failed to show up without a warning, a smoke signal, or any form of communication. I followed up online and via phone to voice my concerns. I have had to adjust my work schedule, medical appointments, and other obligations TWICE. Their latest antics are inconsiderate and less than desirable. Two days later, I am still waiting on a call from the Owings Mills branch manager to address their negligence. If I could give 0 stars, then I would.

I am writing to formally report an ongoing and deeply frustrating experience with Terminix regarding their failure to fulfill services promised under contract. Despite having a valid agreement in place, Terminix has failed to deliver on their obligations. Scheduled service appointments were either outright cancelled without any prior notification or falsely marked as completed, even though no technician ever arrived at the property. This is not only misleading but also completely unacceptable, as it gives the false impression that services are being rendered when they are not. Moreover, attempts to reach customer service have been unproductive, with vague explanations, no follow-up, and no accountability. As a paying customer, I expect transparency, honesty, and professionalism — all of which have been glaringly absent in this case. This behavior reflects a pattern of deceptive practices and raises serious concerns about Terminix’s integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. At this point, I was forced to cancel the contract with raise a formal complaint with consumer protection agencies.

Thank you, Mr. Ira Colter, Mr. Michael Gunther, and Terminix for your prompt response and resolution to our carpenter bee problem! The bees annoyed family, friends, and guests alike. They have returned each year for years and we just couldn't control them. Enough is enough. We finally called Terminix! Mr. Colter arrived the same day for inspection and an estimate. He took time to explain why the bees were at our home and stated that Michael Gunther was top notch snd could take care of our situation. We scheduled Mr. Gunther to arrive 3 days later, which he did. What a knowledgeable, professional, kind, and courteous young man! When he explained the life of the carpenter bees and played with them, it was as though he knew them intimately. Although he's a pest controller, he seems to have a great respect for nature's creatures. He answered all of our questions and concerns and he walked around the perimeter of our home where we regularly see the bees. He informed us of his plan of action, to which we agreed. After his treatment, there was a noticeable change in the behavior of the bees. Two hours later, there was one bee hovering at the front of the house. The next morning, there were no bees in sight, even at the two rear locations of our home! We have been with Terminix for 25 years and have had both good and not-so-good experiences. However, this situation was planned and executed with perfection! Mr. Colter and the wonderful Mr. Gunther have renewed our faith in Terminix, which we highly recommend!

I am beyond frustrated and appalled by the incompetence, negligence, and fraudulent practices of Terminix. I have spent thousands of dollars over the past six months, following every recommendation and paying for every so-called "solution," yet my home remains infested with mice/rats. I and my sister suffer from severe lung problems and allergies, making this infestation a serious health hazard, and Terminix has utterly failed to provide the service they promised. Instead of actual pest control, I have witnessed nothing but lazy, dishonest, and fraudulent behavior from the technicians, who show up unannounced (recently), spend barely 5–10 minutes on the job, take a few meaningless pictures, and then close the service ticket as if the job was done. Recently, (February 6), a technician arrived without notice, agreed to reschedule, yet ran around my house for two minutes, left, and I later received a notification that my ticket was closed—with nothing but staged photos as fake "proof" of service. This is outright fraud. Every visit, I get a different technician who has no clue about my case history, forcing me to repeat my concerns with zero progress. Even when I escalated my complaint, Mike, Sales guy, and Jared, the manager had no accountability and Jared simply blamed his team member who was terminated and promised that he is going to assign permanent technician on a weekly basis. Yet no one visited my house after 1/16/2025 proving that this company is incapable of delivering real pest control services. To make matters worse, one of the technician admitted that they are only allowed 10-20 minutes per stop, yet they are assigned 20+ stops per day—how can any real work get done under these conditions? Terminix has demonstrated itself to be completely unprofessional, unethical, and incapable of handling a serious rodent infestation. I did not pay for a photo-taking service, I paid for effective pest control, and I refuse to tolerate another fraudulent, lazy, and useless visit from so-called "technicians." With what I have gone through during the last 7 month, I strongly believe Terminix is a scam, and I will escalate this complaint further if this issue is not immediately addressed with real action, real accountability, and real results—not just another technician running around my house pretending to work.

Terminix was the worst company we have dealt with as homeowners. Their customer service and communication within their own company was outrageous. They told us that a technician would be out immediately to perform the treatment to resolve our pest issue. An inspector was the only person who came out to our house for all of 10 minutes and just confirmed what we already knew. There was a clear miscommunication on their end, and when we brought up this issue with Terminix, we were told we would be hearing from someone within 24-48 hours to schedule a technician (who was supposed to come out in the first place) to provide service. We never heard from anyone. We contacted the individual inspector and he only asked us about a day that worked, but never contacted us back to confirm a specific time. We called the Terminix main line again when we didn't hear from the inspector, and we were told that we had been scheduled for a different day than the inspector discussed with us. When we tried to reschedule a day that would actually work for us, they again tried to tell me someone would have to get back in contact with me to schedule a specific day. I was not waiting again for someone to not call me back. We cancelled our contract with them, and they said they would refund the money they had already charged us. It is almost 10 business days after being told we would be refunded in 5-7. I called them again, and I was told that my refund was given as a credit on my *cancelled* account, and they would change it to a refund to my credit card. In the time that Terminix has taken to not even give me my money back, another pest company has already completed 2 treatments for us. The experience using Terminix was absolutely infuriating and a giant waste of time and money. I would highly discourage anyone from trusting this company to help you resolve your pest issues.
I had a small termite issue and had Terminix come out. The person who did the inspection looked at where I showed him where I thought the problem was. The inspector took about 5 minutes, did not inspect anything other than what I showed him. Had Terminix spray the small area. I had another company come out and they did a thorough inspection,said the spray job was awful. I had the other company do the spray and foam treatment and set the bait traps around my house. Terminix is still trying to get me to pay for a service they did not perform correctly. After talking with Terminix the agreed to refund my money and have not done so to this day. Now they say they will come back to correct the issues that I have already taken care of. Also had the manager call me and say he will take care of everything, never heard from him again either. Poor service, poor work and terrible management. Would never use this company.
Updated from previous review: As you can see there was a reply from “the owner” from my review below, asking to follow up with an email to help find resolve. I did follow up with the information that was requested and I have heard nothing back for over a week. Seems that the reply was sent publicly to show that they are trying to make a resolution on the situation but clearly are sending that reply to “seem reasonable” in the public eye. They have not reached back out to me for any resolution. After spending $1700 for a year of bundled service (mainly for termites) it’s clear that this business isn’t concerned about their customers. They are happy to take your $$ and not actually solve the issue. They put bait traps around the house about 11 months ago and guaranteed me that I would have no more issues with termites. The guaranteed that there would be an improvement, and that the termites would be gone. Not only did my issue progress, it got much much worse. The swarm of termites this year was much more aggressive than I’ve ever seen. The technician was baffled when he saw that termite problem had gotten worse and said that the “bait system is supposed to work” and clearly it did not. They will not take care of you, they will not refund your money. This is a terrible business for termites and super unprofessional. If you have termites in your house, do NOT put your faith, trust, or money with this company. Save yourself the headache and actually have a company come out that is looking to truly help you for the long run. Terminix are Cash cows and unreliable to say the least. It’s no wonder they have tons of lawsuits. I will never deal with this company again and hope you do not get disserviced and con’d like I did. It’s truly pathetic and disgusting. You can see that all of my reviews (or most) are positive. This company doesn’t even deserve 1 star. I added a photo so you could see what happens 11 months after the bait traps were put in. This was about 6-7 feet from the floor in the center of my house. A raid of Swarmers,workers, and soldiers together chewing through my walls. I hope you don’t make the same mistake I did doing business with this company.

Paid for the Gutter Guard service in November. Was told I didn't need to be home for the service. I was told by the technician the job was complete. Fast forward to spring time. I see plants/brush growing from the gutters. The project was half completed though I paid full price. Now juat waiting to hear what excuse they will come up with as to why the project was not completed. Luckily I have the original blueprint so I have my documentation. Lesson learned. Make sure you're home for services to make sure they are actually being completed vs someone telling you it was done and you find out later it really wasn't. Very Shady!
