Excellent irrigation system service. It required two visits but no extra charge. Plus got great advice on spring activation and maintenance. Very knowledgeable and professional.

When the technician could not clear our sprinkler lines for winterization, the owner, came to our house and spent several hours himself digging to find the problems and valve leaks. I am so grateful for their help and attention to prepare for the winter freeze.

Unless you are currently a customer of this company, there is no point in calling to get an estimate for snow removal. I was told that as of 11/19/25, they are unable to give an estimate for removing snow this year because they are “at capacity.” Instead of just telling me that when I called, I had to wait for someone to call me back to tell me that. They must be a great company to those lucky enough to hire them if they don’t need new business. I gave them one star because they don’t want my business and they do me no good. Too bad since I might have been looking for a new lawn service next year. I’ll call someone else for both.

Stone retaining wall and shade landscaping looks fantastic- the only thing I will say is they should manage their time estimates a bit better. We were told they would start 3-4 weeks from our quote and it was 8 weeks.

We hired for 8 yards of mulch to be spread in the back yard. Unfortunately it was not laid out evenly and the company told me they would correct this and never came back. I am slowly moving the mulch around to cover bare spots

The entire process from initial consultation to project completion was very well executed, consumer friendly and expeditious. The entire team was very professional and highly qualified. We couldn't be more satisfied with the beautiful work done and will definitely use them again if needed!

If you’re looking for a dependable lawncare company. Look elsewhere. They committed to weekly maintenance on Thursdays. And have not met that since day one. I have the only lawn not cut in Terrybrook Farms through the weekend. And now it’s Monday, still not cut. Fortunately there are many choices out there who want my business.

LLS did a really good job! There were two parts to our backyard project. They absolutely nailed the patio base / retaining wall installation. The attention to detail was very impressive. It has completely transformed our backyard! The smaller lawn repair / leveling scope was ok. There were some details that got overlooked. Overall I would highly recommend!

The design was great for our home. The removal of our old landscaping and the installation of the new plants and shrubs was great. One of our plants died but it was replaced.

Work Quality: fair as far as general landscape care. Their work results are average or less. They do not pay attention to detail. Clean up after shrub trimming is fair to poor. Reliability: fair as far as general landscape care. They do call before coming to the property, I do like that. They don't miss many appointments. Costs: ...as far as general landscape care. Labor costs are very expensive. I feel I've been financially abused more than once. They try to push you into an annual contract. I feel I've been neglected because I do NOT do an agreed contract with them. Staff: They appear friendly over the phone and in person. They appear to have a constant turn-over in staff. It's hard to know who will show up at your property at any given visit. It has been better in the last month or more. Weed and Feed Dept: Excellent service Closing Comment: The above might be common issues with landscape care in the Kansas City area. I was spoiled by 16+ years of excellent, economical landscape care of my home in Portland, Oregon. These people are the second company I've tried. I may be looking at a 3rd company, but I may still have the same Kansas City problem with them.

CUSTOMER/BUYER BEWARE: I dealt with Scott at Lawn & Landscape Solutions. Scott sold me a 52" Wright Stander on March 28, 2016. Scott told me that the lawnmower just came from the "shop" had a clean bill of health and was ready to mow. L&LS was just selling the mower because they were moving away from the 52''. One of the blades was upside down (should of been a clue on my part) Scott was nice enough to flip the blade over and told me the "shop" must of put it on upside down. (found out later that the blade was bent, probably why it was upside down) Within two weeks/ under 10 hours of mowing I discovered the mower to be leaking from underneath by the rear wheel. I took the mower to Reynolds Lawn and Leisure in Shawnee, they informed me that the wheel motor needed to be replaced and appeared to have been leaking for some time now. $700 part. I called Scott on the telephone, informed him of the situation and asked if he would be willing to split the cost of the part, $350. Scott laughed and told me that I bought a used mower as is. Scott went further to say that Reynolds was trying to sell me a part that I did not need. I do not use L&LS for landscaping, however based on my experience dealing with Scott. The company does not seem to have a great deal of integrity.
