Absolutely terrible experience. The service was frustrating from start to finish, and it was pretty obvious that the biggest problem comes from management. The boss seems completely unprepared to actually manage the business or support their employees when things go wrong. Communication was poor, organization was lacking, and instead of feeling like the customer is being taken care of, it felt like nobody really knew what they were doing. A good manager should be able to step in, take responsibility, and fix problems—not make the situation even more frustrating. Definitely not the level of service I expected. Management seriously needs to get it together because the way things are being run reflects poorly on the entire business. Would not recommend.

We were getting new siding on our house. They discovered Carpenter ants. We needed to get our housed treated for carpenter ants right away. The siding was being replaced, but we needed treatment right away. They got me on the schedule quickly. The next day they came and treated our house. Now we can get our new siding on tomorrow. On time. Do good work. Easy to deal with. Meet our needs.

Due to some sponginess in our 15 year-old wood deck, I started tearing it out to see what was up. I found a couple of joists completely rotted out. I was pretty certain that it was the work of critters of some sort. So - since I prefer to deal locally, I found Perfection Pest Management out of Indianola. We set up a time and Allen, the owner, came out to the house for an inspection. He looked at the areas that I had concern over and gave a general walkabout and he assured me that this was water damage - not the work of wood-destroying pests. We talked about whether or not we needed a maintenance plan and his honesty was refreshing. He gave me great advice about how a plan could help us show that we're being proactive in managing our property - should we decide to sell in the future - but that we are not facing impending doom should we elect not to. Allen had the opportunity to mislead me and sell me something I didn't need and he chose not to. He was clearly helping me look out for my best interests and I'm extremely grateful. He is going to send me some maintenance options and we are going to consider it. Rest assured, If anyone asks me who to call... or if I find myself in a buggy situation, It'll be Allen, the Bug Guy at Perfection Pest Management.

We started with Perfection Pest because of carpenter bees. The company had been referred by a realtor. The problem was resolved immediately. We have continued and find the employees to be punctual and professional. We appreciate being told a timeframe for service. I have contacted the company twice about pests that appeared between visits. Someone got back to me immediately and they came to the house within a day. I'm impressed with how this company is run.

We had a damage termite trap that was hit while plowing snow. I contacted the office about the issue and they sent Jeff out to replace the trap. Jeff was fantastic! The entire staff, including the office personnel, are great to work with.

And to top it off they are less expensive than their competition.

My service tech Jeff was very kind and friendly, sent me a text on the way to my house to let me know he was coming. He checked for bugs and rodents plus sprayed for spiders. He answered all my questions and was very thorough. I will definitely keep using this service!

We have been working with Perfection Pest Management for over a year and they have been great. They are prompt and professional, and knowledgeable about different pests. They are very quick to come out for emergency follow ups (eg we had a swarm of ants come into our home office and they were able to come within an hour). Our technician is Gabe, and he is great to work with.

I used this company across three properties -- in a home in Ankeny before I lived in an apartment, in a home in Beaverdale, and now in my new house in Waterbury after moving in with my boyfriend. In the Waterbury home, a previous pest control service was already set up, and I had us switch to Perfection Pest Management. They are incredibly friendly, punctual, and caring about my home. If they see an area of opportunity, they are always willing to treat it or help put tools in place to prevent future issues. My favorite part is that we have a regular team member that is assigned to our home -- so each time, I know who is entering my home and don't have to arrange for access to them each time, because we've set up a system. Colten (our technician) knows all three of our dogs and works around them, so I never have to worry about their health or if he's bothered by them. Just, overall, a truly phenomenal company and the owner, Allen, has been awesome throughout all of my moves. Highly recommend!

Allen and his team are phenomenal. When we moved into an older farmhouse I knew I needed pest control. This team is so incredibly knowledgeable and kind. We rarely have any issues at all anymore and that’s impressive in a 1900 home in the middle of a cornfield! Any time I have a concern I have help in sometimes less than an hour. I recommend this team to everyone I know! Seriously never thought I’d be raving about a bug company but here I am! Seriously hire them, no one compares.

They run a very squared away ship

Alan is the G.O.A.T. of pest control! He knows his stuff and truly cares about people. You can trust him to give you an expert and honest recommendation and not try to sell you services you don't need. Seriously -- three other pest control companies would've charged me hundreds of dollars and exposed my family and home to unnecessary chemicals. 11/10 would recommend!
