Don’t call anyone else! AWESOME TIM is the best at making sure the critters go away and STAY AWAY. We use them for our business and farmhouse. We are not dirty people but we live on a large property with a lot of critters. We had a terrible infestation in our finished basement, years of mouse droppings. They were eating through our boxes and walls and storage. It was the thing nightmares are full of. Thanks for Tim, the mice were gone within a few months and now we just fill the traps a few times throughout the year to keep them away. It has literally improved our quality of life. When my wife & I discovered we had a bed bug infestation, we tried Ultraviolet lamps with very little success. Then we purchased a brand name insecticide for bed bugs and tried several applications, again, with very little success. We had used Freedom Pest control in the past for bee and flea infestation with very good results. So, we contacted them for the bed bug problem. Although it took an extensive amount of prep work on our part, Howard, the office manager, and Tim, the exterminator, were both extremely helpful and courteous in finally getting rid of the little buggers.

I cannot say enough great things about this company! I had mice in our house and they came out the same day! Tim did an awesome job of identifying entry points and explaining to me how they were getting inside and how to fix the issue. DO NOT HIRE ... called them as a knee jerk reaction to squirrles in our attic ... their solution was to scatter poison pellets around the attic and then wait for the animals to die ... if they died in the attic they said they weren't responsible for their removal ... they wouldn't remove any of the poison pellets after the fact ... required payment up front ... I was very foolish ... don't you be the same ... call Critter Removal Indianapolis ... VERY professional !

I had called freedom pest control one morning, after staying up all night tearing my house apart, throwing items into the dryer, to schedule a treatment with Howard. Howard was polite at first and seemed like a reasonable man, he told me an inspection wouldn't be necessary as an attempt to "save me money" but it seemed like him pushing me into a choice after thinking about it later on, he told me about his "other customers" he had lined up and rushed me by giving me 30 minutes to make a decision in which I did agree to it because of the stress we were under going, he told me some of the vague terms on the phone and didn't send a terms and agreement email or anything. they recorded the decision on the phone call without informing me and used that against me later on when I tried to cancel. my fiancée was going to give birth that week and we didn't want bed bugs or to drop so much money at once. Well I spoke with a relative who owned a pest control company later that day and he informed me that the price I was paying was ridiculous and I should buy the necessary product and do it myself, which was way cheaper and very efficient in the end, (Howard begged to differ) we performed our own very thorough inspection and didn't find a single other bed bug in our house. I told Howard the day of, when I scheduled the appointment that I was going to need to cancel and he got aggressive with his tone and frustrated that I didn't want to comply to a "7 business day" cancellation policy which was IMPOSSIBLE considering I had schedule that day for next day treatment. (Howard insisted I should.) after having a conversation about cancelling the night before and backing me into a corner of paying them the full amount regardless if I cancel or not. Howard said he would speak to me the next morning to see what my decision was (I clearly not wanting to go through with it) did not answer because I didn't want to speak to this rude man no longer and just go my separate way. He called me all morning and sent a technician to my house anyway in which we had to turn away. I've heard this company does this to people, as soon as they feel like they're going to lose a customer they become they're enemy and send a technician anyways, and it becomes a game of "how can we get money from you". Howard mentioned other customers many times as a way to make me feel bad. I'm sure they could've been able to fill those people in my spot but no, giving me a hard time was easier.

This is a lie! As the owner, I have the phone recordings to prove it! We held a slot for you to decide the "night before" the appointment you scheduled, and told you repeatedly it was past the 72 hour cancellation and if you give us your credit card to book the service it could not be cancelled. You called back 20 minutes later to book the service (for the following morning). You refused service when the technician showed up at your door and have the audacity to write this garbage!! If you didn't want the appointment WHY DID YOU CALL BACK and book it with your credit card? You were NOT PRESSURED and we have 8000+ extremely satisfied clients to attest to level of integrity with which we operate. At this point, I'm considering whether or not to press charges for libel and slander after working so hard to accomodate your needs and getting THIS CRAP in return. We've built an outstanding reputation in Central Indiana over the last 12 years and would be happy to publically upload the recordings if you wish to pursue these lies!

The Manager who leads the shop there is very combatant, when I called I thought price was different then realized it was not it was a whopping $325 prior charge to the technician coming out before he does the work then they do the same thing second time, unless I missed something not what I heard,’so major miscommunication and when I called to relay the manager there continued to relay and argue with me,. I was baffled, never have I been on receiving end of a consumer been yelled at and charged prior to work being done and done 2 times and not seen really how he did the job, I was so confused on freedom pest control, I thought they were recommended, I was mistaken, any company that charges a customer $650 in 3 weeks to spray a 2800 square foot home is doing something wrong and then would charge more to come back out, I will never recommend these company to anyone and stay far away this manager is dangerous and very argumentative, highly aggressive and not customer friendly, just never experienced that level of unprofessional in my life.

Reply to owner: Do NOT use this company. They are extremely overpriced compared to competitors ($350 to treat one nest), are extremely rude to deal with and, as they’ve already done in the reply to this review, they are liars. Not to mention their service didn’t even work, AND the technician got himself stung while attempting to treat the area. While that is surely expected, the owner later lied and attempted to state that we somehow caused it, even when we were not home when the application was performed (we arrived home minutes after - no call, no doorbell to inform us he was there). We had to have a different company come out to actually resolve our stinging insect issue because Freedom’s service was inadequate. They lie CONSTANTLY when things don’t go their way. We received repeated excuses as to why we (and the technician) could not get ahold of anyone at the business all day (during business hours). When we did get in contact with them regarding the service, it was full of passive aggressive and gaslighting comments from Howard, who has a history of this if you read reviews across the internet, always met with aggressive replies from the owner as she is simply no better. Clearly this company does not know how to deal with customers. Profanity does comically appear to hurt their feelings, which goes along with their toddler like behavior. This company is run poorly. Go elsewhere, save money, frustration and headache. When she says she called the next morning to offer a refund, that again is a lie. She called to complain about the review we left and defend her employee for 15 minutes. She also lies when stating we are still trying to reach out to her team - there have been zero efforts from us to contact them following the final call until she couldn’t help herself from lying in this reply. Awful people. Original review: Do not use this company. We initially scheduled a service with Howard. He was friendly and prompt. However, upon seeing the price, we simply wanted to cancel the appointment. Never could get ahold of anyone, left messages and sent texts. Charged us ahead of time, prompting more calls. Worker showed up and just applied the treatment without approval. Wife called to speak with them and finally got ahold of them. She was treated very rudely and unprofessionally when simply trying to come to a fair resolution. Horrible, HORRIBLE customer service. Worst experience we have had as consumers. You should not use this company.

Final thoughts... "When the debate is lost, slander is the only tool remaining for the loser."<br><br>Spoke with client. She was recorded booking a non-cancellable, next day emergency appointment and provided payment. She arrived home as service was being completed and blew up that we did not receive her cancellation notice. Even if we had gotten it in time and NOT treated the stinging insect problem - payment would still be owed for booking an emergency next day time slot - and she agreed (recorded). When my team contacted her to resolve the misunderstanding, she profanely ranted for nearly 30 minutes, refused to discuss a satisfactory resolution and demanded to speak to the owner (recorded). When I reached out the following morning to tell her that her service had been fully refunded - she went off on me! (also recorded). She is still trying to reach out to my team after I told her we consider the matter resolved as she got exactly what she wanted in the first place - free service! Every few years we run across this behavior and chalk it up to the fact that no matter how hard you try, or how great your long-standing track record is, some people just need to feel that "they won". So be it!

RESPONSE TO OWNER. It is not slander when it is your own comments from your company to customers. I am simply reminding you that reviews are for past and FUTURE clients to form opinions from. It is clear you do not care about future business. I have NOT used this company, but I was going to. I always look at good reviews and the bad. However, a huge turn off to me is owners responses to upset clients. I do not believe every customer is right, but it does seem that Howard and Christine “blame” other customers consistently if they are not happy. Thats a shame, I prefer a company to solve the problem, not be a jerk online. Word of mouth is huge. Seems like this company does not care unless you leave a great review.

Key being you have had zero interaction with this company and are participating in online bullying based purely upon hearsay. I believe this is the definition of slander. Check our reviews across the internet - few other companies in our area stand as strong in customer satisfaction than Freedom! While I admit we are all merely human and do make mistakes we always make the client happy - when given the opportunity. Original service was excellent. Second time around my wife rescheduled with the tech. Apparently the tech failed to report schedule change and his supervisor Howard called me and my wife liars. They have lost this customer! They also charge your account prior to performing any service so they think they have you cornered.

While we have not or will not ever call someone a name - our tools and protocols have been in place for years since startup... our career professional technicians do not have the ability to make or change appointments nor do they tell clients that they can. Every client is recorded and our process is explained - and payment is secured in our system at time of appointment (for security to client information and techs never have access to card info) , but card is not charged until technician heads to that appointment. Same process for EVERY client, from day 1. Hopefully this addresses the issue.

What a great way to ruin a picnic. The sprayer is much more than a mist flowing over a fence. Covering the children’s trampoline and swing set. We literally ran back inside abandoning our picnic lunch and bathing the children and the dogs and washing /changing our clothing. After flagging down the man spraying he advised we stay inside for “a couple hours but the wind was blowing the opposite direction of our house, just keep everybody inside”. We canceled a birthday swim party for a five year old that afternoon... The five year old human had red eyes and blurry vision for a day. I called poison control. I called the company, we read their MSDS. He offered us discounted service... I think the owner of the company was missing my point. The wren nest we were observing became abandoned that very day. Our coy pond was massacred the very next day, EVERY single fish and frog floating belly up. The turtle that visited our yard regularly disappeared. Coincidence? I think not. Only a week later the second treatment occurred. The children and I were all playing on the trampoline at this time. We all ran back inside. We had contractors working in the front yard and their drink cooler became covered with the hazardous fog. One of the workers has a skin rash on his face, arms, and legs. His eyes are swollen and red. He has been rinsing off with saline and hose water suffering from a chemical burn. I called poison control again. Do I need to drain our pool? Do I need to wash off our outdoor toys and trampoline? Do I get to expect this regularly? If you want to kill basically everything this is the company for you.

Use these guys if you hate your neighbors. They show up in the middle of the day and give no warning before spraying pesticides. Last two times my wife and infant have been in the yard when their guy starts spraying. Hard to believe that’s even legal.
