The communication on appointment times, punctuality, knowledge, and most importantly, HONESTY and COMPASSION to the fact that these are living animals!! Adam is amazing, and I will recommend him to anyone in our area that needs this type of service in the future.

I was not pleased because I had to call on several occasions to get a follow-up. However, when Andy came out he was very good. He told us he wasn't licensed to do the work and neither was the company. To their credit they gave us a credit.

I had an issue with squirrels and raccoons in my attic. Varment Guard sent Adam, the Service Technician. Adam, is very committed to removing all the pests and always has the time to explain everything being done to accomplish this. While I would have preferred not to have this issue, I am very happy to have gotten someone like Adam to rectify this annoying issue.

Please have this scam company tell you what they will do to the poor animals before you sign your contracts. They killed squirrels in Arlington Heights and pretended that HOA did not sign a form that was not provided I would assume for them to relocate/ release. HOA it’s apologizing and saying that they were unaware of what what going to happen For 5 days we saw little babies trying to free up their mom or vise versa. These people are monsters. No one should make a living or run a business getting paid for killing any breathing creature Inhumane 100%. They have no shame and reply to comments and blame people that feed wildlife as that makes what they do right

Don't use this service. They say they are "humane" but they kill all the animals they capture. Horrible company. We hired them to remove squirrels and they killed them instead of relocating them. We used to feed them and watched them grow up. They would take food right out of your hand. Call a company who doesn't hurt animals. The staff is also rude and not professional.

Brad it’s very rude. He keeps saying that I harassed him because he cannot answer my questions. He charged our HOA which supposedly signed the contract and gave him the ok to kill 11 squirrels that their traps caught in 5 days nothing about this company it’s humane they put traps outside the roof to solve an internal problem, therefore we paid to kill our neighborhood squirrels. HOA gave us updates that they humanely relocate the squirrels not kill them. They need to get their story straight. Please do not hire these monsters without getting all details Look at duct taped traps, that Adam was carrying and laughing right before he killed poor babies

Very poor communication. Literally hung up on me because I told them I had live trapped squirrels in the past and taken them to a forest preserve a long distance from my house. Rattled off a bunch of prices which made me think they wanted to drive the bill up as high as possible. Very abruptly hung up on me. Would never consider a company like this that is so rude on the front end. Now have a competitor of theirs coming out who will be here by noon today.

I would never recommend this company. I had them out due to the sound of squirrels in my attic. I was told that it would be $175.00 to come out set traps and check the traps daily for squirrels. Anthony came out and could not find any animal activity on the roof. He made me feel like it was my imagination. I was told it would cost me 175.00 even though they did nothing but look. I was told it was probably mice and there was nothing they could do. When I called to ? why I still had to pay the 175.00 I was told it was not a rodent issue but a mice problem and I had to pay for them to come look. I feel like I was ripped off when there are other companies that have free inspections. I FEEL stupid for not going with someone else. I feel sick to my stomach and still have to deal with the noise.

Ultimately, this was a scam. They turned what was something traumatic for us to their benefit. What we thought would be a $260 emergency charge turned into $365. The gentleman offered all of his services at the emergency charge and indicating they would be at no charge to us, meaning, they would provide surveillance for the traps, pick up the squirrel and not charge for the trap. Each day, there was an additional charge for the surveillance and for picking up the squirell ( which they said would be covered). Be sure to double check and even triple check everything before signing anything. Or...just call someone else.

Hired to remove squirrels from our attic. Left specific instructions with Norm about location of the traps ocation as our house has 2 distinct unconnected attics. The traps were set on the wrong side of the house and after calling several times they came out to move them. While on the wrong side of the house there was a squirrel captured. When they arrived at the house my wife again mentioned to them that the traps were on the wrong side of the house and she was met with derision and rudeness. When moved to the right side of the house they captured two more and after 2 days said they wouldn't be catching anymore. They quoted me on the phone $50 to repair each of the three dormers on the correct side of the house. While I clearly wanted all three dormers repaired and had told them to proceed, I noticed they had only repaired one. Received a bill for $440 which included $165 to set the traps $75 four each of the squirrels captured and $50 to repair the dormer. Since they only fixed one I elected to pay the bill less $75 for the squirrel caught on the wrong side of the house (There was no attic entry on that side). . I remitted the payment in a timely manner with a written explanation as to why I deducted the $75. Received a follow up bill with a finance charge and an increase in the charge for dormer repair to $155! I called today to again explain the reason for my payment being less than the now increased bill and was told you pay the entire amount anyway. So this is a business that is disorganized, I think dishonest, and willing to increase charges for services by 300% without any communication. While I'm sure this is a difficult service to provide I would most certainly suggest you find someone other than animal control specialists to provide it.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND INEXPERIENCED FIELD STAFF. They don't know what they are doing. Nothing trapped in over 2 weeks and then tries to charge me $400. These guys are just taking peoples $... they don't know what they are doing. DO NOT USE THEM.

If I could give ZERO stars to this company I would in a heartbeat. The staff I just spoke to was so incredibly rude, judgemental, and unsupportive. They acted like i invited this vermin into my home! I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere even if that means I have to pay twice as much! I am SO glad I didn't hire you. Best decision. No one deserves to be treated the way I was treated by you. I am going to do EVERYTHING in my power to let people know how you treat potential clients. Very disgraceful. And an FYI, our "DIY" method worked just fine. I guess there was no need for you which is fine by me.

These guys are complete total frauds. DO NOT USE THEM. I should have had the guy arrested but he left before I had the chance. He came into our property today after we told him we do not want him here without our consent and went onto our roof and ripped out a patch he had installed. Let’s start from the beginning...We have squirrels in our attic. I called this joke of a company and they came out, set a trap and assured me we only had one hole in our roof. Two days later patched the hole up, said they didn’t catch any squirrels in the attic at the time and assured me our squirrel problem was over. I called them the next day and said i still heard squirrels. He said it’s not possible. He “knew for a fact” there were no more holes for the squirrels to get in. A few days later we had to pay $250 because our AC went out because squirrels had eaten the wires!!! Not to mention this company also told me it was probably mice so we called pointe pest control - there have been mouse traps up in our attic and not one mouse has been caught. Pointe also explained to us house it’s rare to have mice in the attic in July...especially when we don’t have a mice issues. Anyways... After the AC guy came out my husband went to the attic and saw a squirrel.I called animal control “specialists” and he was a “shocked” he came back out - SHOCKING FOUND ANOTHER HOLE WHERE I TOLD HIM TO LOOK- and set a trap and voila caught a squirrel. We asked him why he didn’t leave another trap- there could be another squirrel up there!!!! He told us there wasn’t (how does he know - he didn’t step foot into our attic or put any traps inside our attic). So of course... I heard squirrels in the attic this morning and called them again. We told them we wanted to talk in person next week and wanted to be at our home when they are there. We did not consent for them to come onto our property. The guy showed up today unannounced...ripped out the patch he put in and went on his merry way. My husband stopped him and asked him what he was doing and he said if there are squirrels in our attic we can’t trap them in there .....yet he did not put up another trap to catch the others and basically quit on us. So now we have at least two gaping holes for more squirrels to come into our attic! One that was CAUSED by animal control “socialists” today. So we’ve paid this company $175 and they have cost us over $400 in addition to the $175 to get nothing accomplished. The guy also trespassed onto our property today and vandalized our roof. Can you believe he came into our property after we told him we didn’t want him out here without us present and knowing??? He got up on the roof and ripped out the “patch” he had installed. I wish i had seen him sooner so i could have called the police on him....very upset i paid him $100 in cash....i am making a claim for the $75 on my credit card. These guys are crooks!!!!! DO NOT USE THEM - you will regret it!!!!
