Clarke Mosquito Control and Management

They've partnered with the city of Des Moines to spray our neighborhoods. We were able to opt out, which I did. I got the email confirming my opting out was noted and that I was added to the shut off list May 22nd. Today, June 11th, they sprayed again. So that's terrible customer service and I'll hit them with a 1 star because, sadly, a -100 is unavailable.

Three years in a row, this company has mistakenly sprayed my yard. They always mean to come to my neighbor’s house. My neighbor’s house is listed as my house in Google Maps, but every year. the company never bothers to double check the address posted at the end of our driveway. Each time it’s happened, we’ve called and been promised “we’ll put it in our notes and it won’t happen again,” yet it keeps happening. Luckily, the past two years, we’ve caught them in the act. However, the first year it happened, my dogs became violently ill from the chemicals they negligently sprayed in our yard. We have an elderly disabled dog and a dog with cancer. They could’ve easily killed our dogs if we hadn’t ran out of our house to stop them today.

Beautiful and modern office. Clarke is a leader in mosquito abatement. Their sustainable efforts reflect the way they run their business. Friendly group. Awesome facility.
