Sonny Adam’s Pest Control has done pest control outside and inside my home for several years. Staff always does a great job. I especially appreciate the wasp control they do outside. We had a lot of nests and they have managed to reduce and keep control of the infestation.

I have been a customer since 2009. I have paid for the continuous service for termite protection since then. They have been very poor at communicating when the tech will come, so I went to a "call before coming" option. They just told me that they tried calling (one time) last year and I did not respond, so they did not come. Can't tell me when they called, just that they know they did. No second call, no follow-up, just did not come. I will say that over the years WHEN the tech showed up they did on OK job, but the gal on the phone is clueless, unreasonable, unapologetic, rude. Not sure why it took me this long to say good riddance.

Let’s start off saying thank you for your years of service. Although we have tried to be more than accommodating over the years your history in the notes have years of abuse to our office staff and technicians. <br>We tried to call, last year per your request multiple times, but to no avail no return call to schedule by you was made.<br>We have implemented a new software system and I will attest we are still learning and it’s not perfect. Recently an adjustment was made to your account that sent an email saying a tech was there which we tried to explain why he wasn’t when you became very nasty with the office staff. Anyone can see your callus and distasteful banter at the end of your review can only imagine what else was said. You verbally attacked and threatened a 20’s year old woman whose only position was to give you information and direct the call for me to handle when I returned.<br>You couldn’t wait for my return call explanation and apology, you immediately ran to your keyboard and continued there, hiding under initials rather than your name.<br>You apparently have an issue with women in authority position as this has been a recorded ongoing issue with you from years<br>As you said good riddance <br><br><br>

I had a flea infestation in my home. Adams came out and sprayed and I followed their instructions by vacuuming twice a day for more than the recommended two weeks. Pets were removed from the home and treated and stayed out for over a month. Adams came back to retreat, and two weeks later, I still have fleas. They will not come and do a third treatment. Pretty disappointed that I spent $200 dollars on the professional treatment, hundreds of dollars on other methods, and hours upon hours, and they will not come back out a third time to finish the job. The guys that were here for the retreat didn't hit the whole house and only stayed for 15 mins. Poor service on this one in my opinion. I called and left a message per the owners request below and never received a call back. Still unhappy and still have fleas. I am updating this review to one star as I never heard back from the owner. Looks like he may post the below to make them look better.

I would NOT recommend this company for the lack of professionalism and poor customer service. The previous owners had used this company to install terminate protection. While working from home, I notice a van from a company I do not do business with (I currently use a different pest control company) show up and start walking in my yard and digging/ removing objects. I walk outside to ask what they think they are doing and was told that I didn't pay my bill and they are removing the termite bait. These technicians did not knock on my door to speak to me first, but proceeded to enter my property. I called their office to speak to a manager, but was met with only with an extremely rude woman on the phone who insisted "they were taking back their property" and didn't seem to understand that the guys should knock on my door and explain the situation before entering my property. I have dogs and small children that play in my backyard and it is imperative that company follow protocols like this.
Had them out to treat for ants. Supposedly treated inside and out, but we continued to have lots of ants. Called them back to address the ongoing problem, which they again supposedly treated inside and out. A week after that visit still had ants in the cabinet and dishwasher. But learned they only do one return visit and after that it’s a full charge. Don’t use them, they don’t take care of the problem.

Mr Foster<br>I’m sorry to learn of your unsatisfactory experience. There is a warranty that includes visits after the initial treatment is necessary. If your outside this warranty we try to subsidize the cost or offer other treatment plans that suit your level of infestation better.<br>The secretary didn’t get to this point before you said “Ok , thank you” and hung up<br>I would really like to help you further , call back and leave a message for me and I’ll call you directly with a solution<br>Thank you
They spent less than 5 min in/out of our home each time and I don’t feel a single visit was worth $80 as we still had the same bugs around constantly. We were told it’s just a part of where we live (home backed up to woods). I moved unexpectedly and because the contract was in my name I was told the person who was still living there could call to schedule it, but I agreed to still pay for the remaining services. Once he called to schedule he was told he was not able to since it was in my name and that I had to call and cancel the remaining services since I no longer lived there. I’m not understanding the difference of me being there or not if he was living there from the start of the services any way. I am in the military and cannot control unexpected moves. When I called to get an explanation I was told I was just given incorrect info the first time and that my only option was to cancel. I was then charged for the discount I received on the “Initial” service on top of paying the remaining services on my contract. When asked why I was paying the discount back even though I’m paying the contract in full and they’re not even having to come out and do the work, I was told the question wasn’t understood. The only response I received to anything I asked was “my boss said so.” Then by all means please allow your boss to answer or make these phone calls going forward so that customers can get a proper explanation or they can read directly from the contract that evidently was not readily available. I support local and small businesses and they were more affordable than the bigger name companies, however the quality was poor from the start and the lack of professionalism only sealed the deal on my experience. I wasn’t planning to renew with them regardless, but this last interaction was enough for me to feel the need to let others know. I’ve dealt with other companies who took their time and sprayed every bit of the perimeter indoors and out. I’ve sprayed our home and I would never be able to get even a mediocre job done in 5-10 minutes. Save your money because you’re not truly getting a discount or quality service.
We called them a couple years ago about a termite problem. Initially the service was okay, and I felt they were reasonable, especially the price. They set bait stations around the property and inside our home everything seemed great. We received bills in the mail for two hundred dollars every year with limited explanation as to what we were still paying for. A tech came to our house only by request that termites had been observed on out front porch. Someone showed up on a Saturday while I was home and put a note on my door stating, “ there was no activity in the bait stations.” Why didn’t they come to the door and communicate with me what the plan was? A good pest control company communicates what processes they use and why they are doing it, Adam’s just sends us a bill in the mail stating that we owe 200 dollars, no explanation why, so I stopped paying it, every month for the next three months we would get a bill that states, 2nd notice, and final notice. I wasn’t going to pay 200 dollars a year for someone to stick a note on my door that says, “ no activity.” So I called Terminix, they sat down with me and my wife, showed me, and communicated everything they were going to do, how much it costs, when I can expect them, and gave me their personal contact information. They even stated the old termite bait stations that Adam’s placed were to far apart based on manufactures guidelines. Typically we like using local businesses but sometimes, you have to use the company that prioritizes the customer.

I’m sorry to be seeing this. Did you ever call to inquire further? Your annual $200 bill clearly says, “renewal”. This is no different than an insurance renewal on your home or car. During the initial sale I completely explain to the customer about the entire treatment process and years to follow. In this instance and every instance at your home I spoke to your wife, not once were you ever present. We always knock or ring a bell and if no answer leave a note. Also at anytime a customer can request an appointment for questions, to repair or replace stations at no charge. This never happened so as you said and I agree with communication is key and is a two way street. We don’t know your concerns unless we know about it.<br>In regards to another company’s assessment of ours; terminix has had this system twice over the years and botched it. I’ve received 100% quality assurance over the past 20 years and a nation high 92% retention. Stations are placed strategically 8-10 feet apart, per guidelines. The salesman you talked with collected his money and you will never see him again. I’m sure he was good at his job because that’s the only job he has is to make sales. In 20 years I’ve not raised one renewal rate.<br>I wish you nothing but the best moving forward. Just wish you would have “communicated” prior.

My aunt and uncle used this service. They came out twice for scheduled services. We called a couple of weeks after each visit because the roaches had gotten worse. They would send a tech out. The tech would walk around the house spraying once or twice. When my aunt called to cancelled services the office manager was very rude. Telling my aunt that she had a contract and she could either fulfill the contract or buy it out. My aunt said she didnt want to do either. She just wanted to cancel. The manager told her if she didnt pay she would send it to collections. My aunt explained to her that the roach problem had gotten worse and she wasnt happy with the service. The manager got loud and told her she had to pay. My aunt said she wasnt paying. The manager told her that she was cancelling the services and just sending it to collections. Then hung up on her. We will NEVER use them again.

I've had this company to my house twice and I havent seen a difference. If anything it's getting worse. The owners daughter that ansers the phone is rude and not helpful at all. I've called them over twice and get NOTHING accomplished. Don't waste your time and money with this company. Go else where!! You'll regret wasting your money with this company!

What ever was sprayed at my home left a wax residue all over my floors. I called and asked how to remove it and they said it was not from them they only spray cracks and trim. Our floors looked great before and it was something they did. I was told the tech was off and they would call me the next day. I left 2 VMs with no response very unprofessional. Go elsewhere look at reviews I wish I had.

I signed up for quarterly service and when I attempted to schedule my 2nd service weeks in advance via phone and email, only to receive no response. After sending a message to them via FB, I was finally offered appointment times that didn’t fit my schedule bc all the times that would work were already booked. I wasn’t going to take time off work to work around their schedule. Now that I’ve found another service provider, their office manager is threatening to send me to collections for not fulfilling the contract. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM. There are other providers that are attentive, responsive and customer friendly.
