I have been a customer of Tee Time for 10 years. I am very pleased with the lawn treatments, leaving my lawn beautiful. Tee Times weed and grub control is most excellent. I have used a variety of their services, as aeration and over seeding with great results. I highly recommend Tee Time lawn services.

With Pro-Turf (formerly Tee Time) for years for weed control and lawn fertilizing. They understand our need to use safe methods since our Lab will nibble on grass and chew sticks in the yard. Our tech appreciates our preferences and is always pleasant to work with. All we have to do is mow.

Pro turf pro pest is by far the worst lawn care I have ever had. They were even worse than Tee Time. They came out twice to my home for lawn care applications both times I had to call them back because they didn’t apply the fertilizer properly because I had pathways were their drop spreader's went nothing was even pathways in my yard and when they came back after the first application to redo the terrible job they didn’t apply the technician sent me a e mail that he reapplied fertilizer and that was a lie. I watched on my ring camera and he never took a thing off his truck. I paid 55.53 two times for each application a total of 111.06 with my credit card. I canceled my service with them after the second application because they are terrible. Now they are saying that they never received my payment and that’s just another lie. I have my credit card statement to prove that they took payment from me. AVOID this company they do terrible service and also lie to their customers.

We live in DuPage County currently very disappointed with Melody and her customer service. Apparently Melody says she is the highest customer service rep I can speak to. When they reschedule for whatever reason they move you to the end of their following week instead of the next day which makes no sense. Started with tee time starting in June of 22. Stayed with them for 23 but the system didn't start our service until June which made our dandelion problem terrible. Made sure this year we were slated for spring had our first treatment late February had to call for the 2nd treat which was overdue. Its late April and keep getting rescheduled for various reasons weather and mechanical issues. Cancelled my service due to sheer disappointment in the attitude of Melody.

After several years of quality service, I contacted Tee Time last May to cancel due to budgetary concerns and an uncommunicated spike in pricing. I informed them that I would contact them if I wanted to restart their services. To my surprise, a tech showed up today to perform services. I contacted customer service and was told that services automatically renew each calendar year. Clearly, they are incapable of properly documenting communication. I was also told I would still have to pay for today's visit. Informed CSR that I stopped the tech before starting service, and no payment would be forthcoming because no services were provided. If I had not been home, I would have been forced to pay for a service I did not order or authorize. What a scummy tactic to use to basically scam customers. Due to this interaction, there is now ZERO chance they will receive any possible future business from me.

Tee Time destroyed many plants, shrubs and trees on my property by using a new fertilizer formula back in April. They told me they would pay for damages and I received a letter outlining our agreed amount. Todate, and after many calls on my part, no check. I'm out of pocket a lot of money and not looking forward to looking at my dead landscaping another spring and summer. What a terrible way to do business and awful for your once loyal customer.

We are now in August and we have been fighting with this business since March of this year. We had a 1 year contract with them to help us remove our weeds from our lawn. We cancelled services at the end of the 2022 season as planned and even let them know in November. We thought it was a mistake when they treated our yard this year in March and quickly realized we were incorrect as they treated our yard the following month and sent us a bill for both treatments. We called them to remind them we had cancelled and upheld our end and will not be paying this. We had to escalate it to a manager to be told “it’s been handled” to only find out they had cancelled my fathers account. What kind of business is being run here? They can’t seem to get a handle of their backend system to save their lives. It’s now August and My husband is now getting calls AGAIN for the last two weeks asking us to pay the bill. I’ve never experienced such harassment from a business that we’ve repeatedly told are incorrect with their billing and what they deem to be a contract. My next step is Better Business Bureau to file a complaint. Maybe only then will they finally do what they were supposed to do.

My lawn went from average to bad. I never had crab grass issues till this year after using their service and it got worse over time. Maybe coincidence maybe not. But non of my neighbors have this issue. I asked them to come and look to offer a solution and they blew me off saying we can cancel remainder of your service for fall. The customer service lady on phone was very rude. Thank you for getting back with me since and offering a solution. I will provide photos and update to 5 start after work is completed. Thanks again!

I used them a few months back and everything was good. This time around the service was poor. Mowing was done several days after the promised time, they left a few patches of uncut grass that my husband had to go over himself, and the "manager" Jessica has very poor and unprofessional people skills. She doesn't call back when stated she would, tries to justify everything instead of listening to the customers concerns, and even tried several attempts to offer me to cancel services instead of trying to rectify the issue and find a better solution. I recommend you spend your time and money elsewhere.

STAY AWAY! I used them in 2014. I prepaid for 7 lawn visits throughout the year and it was fine. My grass looked better than usual, but not so phenomenal that I wanted service for in the future. I decided not to renew. Fast forward to spring of 2015, they showed up at my house one day while I was at work and gave my lawn treatment. They sent me a bill, so I emailed them saying I think it was a mistake as I had not ordered any further services. They replied by telling me that they automatically renew the next year. I didn't want this, nor did I ask for it. The sales rep had never mentioned it when I spoke with him the previous year. It would have been nice to know, considering I had previously only pre-paid for a few treatments....Long story short, I did not feel that I needed to pay for the treatment as I didn't ask for it. 4 years later, they have put me in collections and are charging me an additional 90 dollars in interest. Really makes me feel good as a customer.... On a separate note, in 2014, I also paid them over $1400 dollars to put in a french drain in my yard for my sump pump output. The guy promised me we would never see water overflowing through the drain unless there was a major flood. Since then, we have seen water coming out of the drain all over my front yard year round, every year since they put it in. So aside from the shady practices, they still couldn't actually do their job right... Go with someone with better reviews. I wish there were these many reviews available in 2014.

Had service for a couple years and in the beginning was fine as far as service received. The last year I had the service my lawn had more weeds than before and never saw much in the way of actual application after the first one of the year. Usually there was some residual fertilizer in areas that aren't in the lawn. After being home while I had supposedly received an application and never saw anyone in my yard I cancelled after October. All was fine for a couple years until I started getting contacted and was billed for November and December the year I canceled for lawn care in winter which I never wanted or received. Emailed about the fact that I had canceled service and continued to receive bills and noone actually listening on their end. Now I receive a notice for collection for fertilizing in winter after cancelling. I Would never recommend to anyone else looking for actual service and not a bill dropped on your doorknob.

We agree with past reviews that this company was at one time reputable. Last year I experienced problems with my lawn. Called and asked if someone could come investigate but request was ignored. This spring my lawn came up barren. I hard raked, seeded the lawn and cancelled my service with Tee Time via voice mail. Request ignored They came out anyway. They put down emergent which pretty much killed any chance of my seed growing. (They used to call the day before coming out which had they done that this could have been avoided) . I paid the bill, and called and cancelled again. They came out again this time right after my new lawn service put down fertilizer. I called they told me that I would not be charged and now I am receiving a past due bill. Still not resolved have to wait to talk to a manager. Very frustrating experience.
