Mosquito Squad of Chicago

I contracted them to spray our acreage for mosquitos and had a pretty much mosquito free summer. I'll use them again next year.

I have been its customer for 10 years in a row. It is very disappointing. There is a note on my property, indicating avoid my Vegetable bed and flowers. I met the tech, I reminded him about avoiding my vegetables bed and flowers again. Which is a common sense. What I saw from my camera was he literally sprayed on my vegetables. Which drove me nuts! They put my entire family at a risk of poisoning. If I did not see the image, I was planning to harvest those vegetables. The manager called me and said their product is non-toxic!! He might think their product is edible!!!!!!He did say apology. When I ask him how he is going to handle this and told him this is an unforgivable mistake. He hanged up the phone! I thought he would mention anything about the technician training. Which means they just want to cover things up and keep me quiet! Those things might happen again! This is the most terrible part!!!! They don't learn and they don't care about it!

I realize there will be a counter explanation posted by the company after this review. But the facts are after years of great service and communication something has changed. And we are canceling with this company. Yes they do a good job. But in the last 2 weeks we’ve been rescheduled 4 times and they will of course blame us the customer. But the truth is the techs and/or the office haven’t bothered to just communicate with us when things happen. So we are going elsewhere for treatment.

A driver in a pickup truck was just driving and speeding recklessly swerving through lanes in downtown Lemont. Not professional and quiet frankly dangerous for the community since it's 25 mph in a high pedestrian area.

Hired for a party. Paid 200 for 1 time spray. Then a big rainfall came a few hours later. When I called for a re spray they gave me the run around and never came back only to email me after the party that they don’t do de sprays! Never hire this company again! 1 star is too many

We have used Mosquito Squad for a couple years now and there service helps control our mosquito issues of the past. D’Angelo is generally our technician and he does a detailed assessment and application each time and connects with us prior to treatment to ensure all concerns are addressed.

D’Angelo was very professional and timely in treating our yard. We’ve used mosquito squad for several summers and will continue to do so!

Drift from the pesticide sprayed on my neighbors property landed all over our native plants and garden. It also got all over me and my daughter who were playing in the back yard. Stop killing the environment, even though epa approved these sprays kill more than just mosquitos.

The stuff really works, but more importantly is the amazing customer service you receive. Highly recommend this company and all their services.

The mosquito squad service is great. Our tech is Mike D and he does a excellent job also very polite and professional. Mike has an amazing attitude and work ethic, yesterday he finished at our house and I found out he had worked a 12 hours, talk about an amazing employee . Thanks Mike & mosquito squad

We have been using them for 7 years and until this year had no complaints. This year has not been pleasant and they are unwilling to insure that their employees will spray my entire property which is what I am paying them to do. We call after every visit and get the same we will make sure it is done next time and it never happens. they have not done my entire property in any of the first 6 visits of the year and the mosquitos are everywhere. It appears management is only after the money. I would recommend using a different service.

THE SQUAD WAS A NO SHOW! We were having a party with careful planning of the details including mosquito control before the day of the gathering. They didnt show. . I recommend using your local company for this service not Mosquito Squad of Chicagoland

I haven’t been able to get in touch with this company. They sure know how to take my money but if I need them to come out abd spray you’ll never hear back. I have mosquitos all over my bank patio even after they said they sprayed last week. It’s very expensive with not good results and no one gets back to you. I can’t even call through. Highly dissatisfied. Edited that they did contact me the day they heard my message and came back to spray. So I’m glad about that. Out of three companies they have been the best. I do wish they could come on a regular basis every 10 days. They were nice when they called back

If I could I would give 0 stars. I was supposed to have a service on Monday and they didn't show. I called them and asked if they could come again because it was awful in my backyard. They said that they came on Monday and that I should wait until the next service. I checked my camera's and they didn't not come for that service on Monday.. In the contract it says that they could come for free it got too bad before the next service but they said they won't be able to come because of the rain and they were short staffed and no one wanted to come into work. When I called them again they said they didn't come Monday because of the rain, but last time I called they said that they came.. I understand that they might be short staffed or get put of by rain but they didn't show up to 1 of my services and when I asked them to come at least once they said they couldn't. Don't trust them!!!

We've had Mosquito Squad for 3 or more years. In the past, they were great, both their customer service and the effectiveness of their mosquito control. This year they raised their prices and now they have decidedto decrease the area they will spray. Consequently the mosquitoes are back within 24 hours of their spray. Their manager, Vinny is unwavering in his refusal to spray the tree lined border of the area we originally contracted to have sprayed. They will not honor their sales team's promises and past performance. His only solution is for us to pay more or cancel the service. Although, I rarely have conflict with anyone, our representative Vinny (their top manager according to him is unfortunately one of the most irritating vendor representatives I have ever dealt with. I will most likely ride out the year as it is paid in full but this year and Vinny has been a great disappointment.

We first used Mosquito Squad of Chicago a few years ago. The service and results were amazing. We highly recommended the company to several people, who also became patrons. However, my most recent experience was horrible. The first “treatment” on June 30 did not work at all. They sent another technician out on July 7 who only sprayed the perimeter of the backyard. Again, the “treatment” did not work. I called and spoke with the manager twice who constantly talked over me but promised to review the technician’s camera footage and call me back. He never called. Very disappointing experience. I will never use Mosquito Squad of Chicago again.
