Ranger Termite & Pest Control

We have had Ranger Pest Control for a couple years now and they do a good job. Patrick is always on time and very knowledgable about a wide variety of pests and different application techniques. Recently Evan applied some Tandem to our yard (and a tree) to address an ant problem and it worked well. He even stopped by a few days later to check if it worked or if additional treatment was necessary.

Ranger Termite is one of those rare local companies that still gets what real commerce should be: honest, transparent, and confident enough in their work that they don’t need to scare you into buying. Drywood termites are common in Florida, and tenting is the usual one-and-done solution. I wanted something more preventative, so I interviewed eight companies — five that push tenting and three that don’t. Seven tried hard to close the deal. Ranger was the only one that didn’t. Three generations of the same family run the business. The BPE (first initials of each generation) called ahead, showed up early, and worked hard. They were thorough — walking every room and inspecting like they were investigating a crime scene. They treated the crawlspace and attic of my 105-year-old bungalow and even moved my appliances so I could clean behind them. I hired them for the drywood termites and added their yearly pest prevention package the same day. It’s a one-time treatment with follow-up visits included. Everything cost less than tenting, and the results have been excellent so far.

A very thorough, professional, friendly, reasonably priced pest control service! They are local and reliable. I highly recommend them! UPDATE 6/2/26: I’m incredibly disappointed and frustrated with their service lately. The times needing to wait to get your place treated are getting longer and longer, and if something happens on their end (ie a technician running out of gas and being unable to treat your house within the hour window you have available), they don’t really care much about getting you back in the schedule in a timely fashion. My window of availability may only be an hour, but it’s not during a high demand time, yet I’ve been waiting over a month now, and it seems I’ll need to keep waiting. Customer services has really gone down, to the point where I’m actively getting quotes from other companies. Is a shame, but apparently having their service for nearly 7 years doesn’t matter much to them.

Great pest control company! We had subterranean termites and they came and treated and never had an issue again. The technicians were very nice and knowledgeable about about the topic. Office staff are always very friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend!

Kenneth is newish to the company and as much as I have loved ranger and their customer service their choice in Kenneth was a game changer for me. He came out ONE time and I never saw another bug again! That’s unheard of.

Had a cockroach issue in my home. Had gotten a few quotes and Ranger seemed reasonable. They did great work. Ended up having to come out more than expected to get the issue under control, and they made it very easy with no issues. Patrick was the professional who came to the house and he was very professional, respectful, and took his time to explain things. Overall a great experience and would recommend.

Came out on time and treated as promised, had to call them back to inspect what I thought were suspicious bugs and they came right out and identified them as a localized, non issue occurrence.

After my husband completed some work on the house, he believed that we had a termite issue which prompted me to locate a reputable company. After reviewing about 20 or so companies based on Google, and friends referrals, I came across Ranger. I wholeheartedly agree with all the 5 star reviews - the individual who came to the house was prompt, professional, kind (answered all my questions, several repeats without any annoyance) and provided me with a wealth of information. I was concerned about having the "wool pulled over my eyes" and being told that treatment was needed immediately etc... None of which happened. I was told that there wasn't any current evidence of infestation, and then was given detailed information on what to keep an eye out for. I was grateful for whom I assumed was an employee of Ranger, to come to find out (at the very end of the visit) it was Mr. Donaldson - the OWNER HIMSELF! If you are in need of a reputable company, stop your search right here!

I used to have Termite Protection Program with one of those BIG NAME places but their customer service and technicians totally sucked. Then I found Ranger and I am so happy and absolutely satisfied. Their initial inspection was thorough, the price is reasonable, but the best part is the people - they are genuinely NICE and actually care about the customers. This is my third year with Ranger and I'm sticking with them forever! Highly highly recommend.

Using Ranger for several years now and very happy with the service, both pests and termites. It is an annual service and they are very responsive and easy to schedule if you have any issues. Pests will always be a problem, but they deal with the issue and get it solved. When you do schedule they give you a time and show up on time. Not a window of time or half day slot, but an actual arrival time. Really appreciate that.

My pest control company doubled their price from the previous year, so I decided to look for a new company. I found Ranger on a Google search. They had great reviews, they offered a great once a year treatment package with additional treatments as needed (I haven't needed any), and they had a much better price than my last company. They treated my house, attic, garage, and outdoors about 10 months ago and we have not had any bug problems. Looking forward to having them back again this year.

I have used Ranger once before for getting rid of roaches at a rental property and they did well, so when I finally decided to hire a pest control for my ghost ant problem I figured I'd call them again. I had been battling with ghost ants for years, buying the best bait I could find, and they'd always come back. Eventually they got too close to the kitchen for my liking. Ranger sent out Patrick who definitely loves what he does. He meticulously searched the property and found their nest buried in some chipped paint of a wall outside! He sprayed them down and I haven't seen ants in weeks. My only complaint is that now all the bait I bought will probably be worthless! Huge thanks to Ranger and Patrick. Great service, great prices.

I’ve used ranger for nearly a year now. I was extremely frustrated with my old pest company. Not only did they charge more, but techs did a subpar, rushed job each and every time. I can’t say enough about ranger. From the kind owner himself doing my initial inspection (dry wood termites) to each tech taking their time when we see some issues. I would like to share my appreciation to Marcus specifically. He’s been to our home several times now and it does not go unnoticed how detailed he is. Always kind, always willing to answer questions, and our dog Roxy I think is in love with him. Green flag. Realistically, you’re never going to be completely rid of pests in our area. However, with ranger I see far less problems. From less issues with termites, to far less palmettos and ants sneaking in. They are fairly priced, punctual and friendly.
