They will exterminate more than pest. They will exterminate any other live animal that may be known to be on the premise, even after they are informed of any animal present before the start of a fumigation.

At Geiger's Pest Services, we do not knowingly fumigate a property if there are live animals inside or under the structure. We provide every customer a detailed preparation check list that includes warnings concerning animals that may have access to open crawl spaces. We advise that the homeowner close these openings or hire someone to close these off prior to the fumigation. Last year at this time we had 10 of our 15 townhomes report termite swarms. A few had hundreds of bugs at a time. Since Geiger tented in January, Not one termite this year. Everyone has forgotten about the tenting inconvenience and are back to normal without bugs in their homes. These guys are good and honest. We have a 15-unit townhome building on Tierra Verde that is difficult to tent due to the steeply pitched roofs. The Geiger crew was able to tackle this large job in such a professional way and with minimum disruption. Our 15 owners were happy with the way the Geiger crew handled the fumigation. Pete, Freddie, and Derek worked closely with us to make this as easy as possible. We highly recommend Geiger Pest Services for any fumigation needs.

I could not recommend this company more. Mother nature caused a few hiccups (not the company), and the hoops, leaps, and jumps this entire team did for our home and family was incredible. Pete and Iris were incredible, and we could not be more grateful for how much care, thought, and effort went into the entire transaction. While termites aren't ideal, we will never go anywhere else, and I could not recommend this firm more. Do not search elsewhere. Mostly good experience here.. In short: The guys that completed the tenting were excellent. The admin staff dropped the ball a few times. Received & accepted quote on 3/26, but I was not informed until 4/8 (Day prior to tenting) that 2' around the house needed to be cleared or they would charge $150/hr to do it. Had to reschedule until the next week. Home flooded, and I did forget to ensure the power was on for them which they had informed me they needed, but they also needed to have the water turned on which had not been mentioned prior to tenting day (Need a simple update their contract). I was able to turn both on within 15 min which the guys gracefully accommodated.

During the "Prep" appointment, our field inspector should have gone over the details of the process. Also leaving you with copies of all the information. I agree there is a lot of information to process and remember, which is why we leave you with a copy of these details. Payment information is not usually discussed during the Inspection. I will start incorporating this into our verbiage for future customers.

Always late, or doesnt let you know they are coming by. They just "Show Up" whenever they feel like it. After nuberous attempts to try to get rid of sugar ants they failed, and keep failing. Now they won't answer their phones.. middle of the day.

Geiger was thorough, professional, and responsive to requests/questions. My tenting was scheduled for just before hurricane Milton arrived and they rescheduled the service within a week of the storm's passing, even while operating remotely until their office was back online. The people who scheduled, estimated and attended to my project after it was complete were friendly, knowledgable and prompt.

So this company did damages to property in south St. Petersburg, by walking on top of shed roof. But the things is instead of trying to fix the problem the company has been extremely nasty. Although they KNOW their team caused the damages, are giving the owner a hard time in repairing. We have it all on video which I will post the videos to every social media outlet and have an appointment with news 8 on your side! Funny reading the less the satisfactory reviews are responded with such professionalism, but privately and behind the scene nothing is professional in the way they are handling this issue. How are you upset and nasty about damages YOUR rep caused?!!

I prepped everything for tenting. Big concern was my 4ft+ ferns all along the house. Called them a week before tenting to make sure everything was cleared away enough. Jacob came out and said everything looked good but I needed to rake some more leaves. Fine,I did that. I took time off work, loaded up all the food in my house, sedated my 2 kitties, took them to be boarded,found accommodations for myself, was out of my house by 8am. Received a call from Jacob AFTER 10 saying they cant tent because of the ferns. Something he knew in advance!!! It would take 2 more days to fix everything that he said was Good. I went and picked up my kitties, unloaded all my food and Did Not let them come near my house again! He said....it won't happen again. Ha! You're right cos this big of a F up....you don't get a second chance. The guys who drop the tent and actually fumigate are subcontractors.They came out and were very professional but too little too late.

Geiger’s Pest Services is the worst when it comes to customer service. They play the blame game its their past employees, the wind is too strong, and at one point I was even told no one knew what the job entailed, the person who rote it up is no longer with the company (sorry your field tech was also here to take keys and do a walk through). So, what has Geiger’s Pest Services cost me to be a no show. $650.00 for my tenants to stay some where $30.00 to stop payment on the check $120.00 replace locks that are keyed alike (I will install these) DO NOT USE OR RECOMEND GEIGER’S PEST SERVICES IT COST ME $800.00 TO FIND OUT THEY arent worth the time

Michael, we apologize for the delay in responding to your review, and to anyone reading this response. The following is our account of what occurred. Our management spoke to Michael in person and discussed his concerns. We acknowledged to Michael that this was an error due to one of our staff members, and our team missed the need for a crane to lift the fumigation tents onto this property. It was physically not possible to continue the fumigation job that day without the crane. We apologized for the inconvenience this caused Michael and his tenants. Internally we were discussing options to reschedule the treatment of the property. On the rare occasion where something like this might occur, we attempt to work closely with the customer to make it right and do what’s right in the situation. Unfortunately, Michael chose to avoid the opportunity to work with us to find an appropriate solution as we would have happily saved him from the added expenses he referenced in his review. We did provide a full refund and returned the keys to Michael. We do appreciate Michael’s feedback and have made all of our staff aware of this incident. We have adjusted our internal process to ensure this type of situation does not happen again.

My property management group went through this service. Horrible response time if you get a tenting done and they need to come back. 3 weeks to come back after tenting! Hope you enjoy your new pets. Go with a company that understands having termites flying above your head at night is a BAD thing and shouldn’t have to live like this. They were not on time for the initial consultation. Late for putting up the tent. According to my cameras they put up The rent late and took it down early. No wonder I still have them! 16 hours minimum is how long it was up for.

I have used Geiger's Pest services 2 times and both times have been a nightmare. The first time when then tented my house they "FORGOT" (that's what the guy told me) to remove the tent on Monday. So after paying hotel for 3 nights I had to pay for another night. They did not care and did not offer to pay for anything, and did not called me to give me heads up or anything. The second time I had to used them again because I had been paying for the yearly fee to keep the warranty and the house need it to be tented again. This time they had me schedule for Friday again, but did not put the tent until Saturday. Also when I came back on Monday I noticed they had damaged one window. I called them a couple of days later, and the supervisor came to look at it and he said he was going to send the window guy to repair the window. Couple of days later a couple of guys from Geiger came to look at the window and told me the window cannot be fix that it has to be replaced. They told me that someone from the office was going to call me the same day, nothing happen until I called them back a couple of days later and the supervisor told me they are not going to pay for the window, that they will give me one year "Free" of the warranty. and I told him that I do not want that, I need my window fix. He send me an email saying that it was gross negligence from my part because I did not notify them in 24 hours. As if we did not had to put everything back together in the house, after being at a hotel for 3 nights. At the time it was not a priority, I did not think it was going to be an issue, they busted the window and they did not fix it. They have no regards for customer. They they advantage of you because of the situation you are in. I used them 2 times, and both terrible

At Geiger's Pest Services we strive to provide excellent services, we're sorry we did not meet your exceptions regarding our service. When we originally completed your home fumigation in 2012 (7 years ago), our standard procedure at that time was for a tent to go up on a Friday and then come down Monday late afternoon/early evening and let the homeowner or tenant back into the property. We apologize if something happened outside of our standard procedures at that time. After finding live termite activity in May 2019, we preformed a re-fumigation on your property. About a week after the fumigation, outside of the 24 hour timeframe as per our contract, we received a call from you regarding the broken window. Our fumigation manager and technician visited the property to observe the damage to the window which was a broken spring/track. It was our determination that the window was not damaged by our crew members based on the normal opening and closing of the window. Geiger's offered an additional year warranty on your property for any inconvenience which has been declined by you. Again, Geiger's apologizes for not meeting your expectations.

Geiger tented our house a few months ago. I am still waiting to here back from them for the damage they did to my sidewalk. They showed up at 8:00am. The head of the crew said: "Oh we'll be back we didn't know we needed a crane" (we have a large house) But they had been to our house 3 times and they DID know. He told me it was possible they would damage the sidewalk. I had no choice but to leave and let them do the job, as I had already booked my hotel room and removed food, pets etc. But why on earth does a company who does this every day of the week not have a system whereby they can avoid ruining your sidewalk. It cost me $450 to fix my sidewalk. And they seem unwilling to help cover that cost.

At the recommendation of my realtor, when I purchased my first home, Geiger's Pest Services conducted my termite inspection. After moving in, I decided I wanted to obtain pest control services. Because GPS already had my home information on file, I decided to give them a try. Upon scheduling an appointment with Jeanine, it was confirmed to me over the phone and via email that my home would be serviced the following Monday and the technician would give me a call prior to his arrival. On the Monday of my appointment, I called in the morning to confirm my appointment time and was told by Jeanine that I would receive a call when the tech was on his way. I never received a call from the technician. I called GPS the same day, spoke with Jeanine again, who told me that the technician showed up but did not service my home because I was not there. She claimed she was unaware that I needed a phone call from the tech prior to his arrival. We rescheduled the appointment for Wednesday, and she promised that I would receive a call the next time. On Wednesday, I confirmed with Jeanine that morning that the tech would arrive around 11am. I arrived at my home at 11am and I waited 1.5 hours without the technician arriving and no phone call. Upon calling Jeanine, she stated that the tech was running late and was going to arrive around 1pm instead. She did not apologize, only offered me the phone number for the tech. He was unable to get to my home until 1:45 so I did not have my home serviced because I had to return to work. The tech apologized and said Jeanine would call me. I received no call. The next day, I phoned Jeanine and she said that because she had not heard from me, she was not able to reschedule me until Wednesday of next week. She said she had left me a voicemail, and upon inquiring as to the number she was calling, it was confirmed that she had been calling the wrong number. I promptly told her that I would not be using GPS for any services due to the terrible customer service. She simply said, "okay." As a first time customer, this was absolutely the worst service I have ever received. DO NOT CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY.

We used Geiger's in March of this year and while our vehicles were being treated on Geiger's property one of them was broken into and almost $10000 worth of documented property was stolen. Since then we have only been able to talk with Julie as she will not put us through to Gary who was the one we were dealing with when this happened. She is rude, has yelled at us, name called, cursed at us, and even accused us of stealing our own property. Geiger’s is refusing to take care of the damage to the vehicle and replace or reimburse us for our stolen property. And to top it off the bugs were back in 35 days. Where they decided to void their 90 day warranty and broke their contract and refunded the treatment cost but nothing toward the damage and loss due to their gross negligence. We were told our property would be safe and secure there and that they were fully insured. Then come to find out their gate was broken and they had no type of security at that point and refused to take care of the situation. One of the employees had even come to us after the fact stating he was a convicted felon and wanted no involvement in this. These are really poor business ethics and apparently we are not the only ones who have received this kind of treatment from them by other reviews I have seen. I would never wish this on my worst enemy let alone a paying customer. I clearly would urge anyone to avoid this company at all cost. All of the above is documented and under investigation with the St. Petersburg police dept. and is 100% provable!!!!!!

Geiger's Pest would be happy to reimburse Mr. Taylor for his loss however we have asked for receipts or some kind of written proof of ownership and Geiger's Pest has not received ANY type of documentation regarding the value or ownership the weapons.
